This is THE perfect brush for adding definition to your eyes. After struggling with the MAC 217 and 224 for this purpose, I bought this NARS brush and was not disappointed in the least. This is small enough to fit in your socket. If you have smaller eyes and/or want more control with darker shadows, check this brush out. The handle is nice and long so you can hold it at the end for a very soft application. Choke up on the brush if you want to use a heavier hand with your product(s). I am so surprised that more makeup companies don't craft a brush like this. It seems like such a common need. I searched many makeup brands for a brush like this before finding this on the NARS website through a beauty blogger. If I lost this, I would immediately buy another. It is that perfect.

I have this lipstick in a fuchsia shade and I love it! I had never tried Milani before using this lipstick. For a brand I hadn't used and was unfamiliar with, I was really impressed when I put this on. The color was really vibrant and applied nicely. The wear is decent for a creamy lipstick. It didn't bleed outside my lips nor did it dry out my lips. The packaging of these is really chic and classic. I also love the more narrow, long lipstick because it makes this easy to handle and apply. I am definitely looking forward to picking up more shades from this range.

I purchased this at Sephora back when there weren't nearly as many dry shampoos on the market to choose from. Of the two or three Sephora carried at the time, this looked like the best one. When I sprayed this on my hair the smell was really strong. I didn't mind the scent itself but it was really overpowering. It absorbed the oils in my hair and fluffed it up well enough but after just the first use, the aerosol bottle leaked product like crazy. For a product so expensive, you can't afford to let any of it go to waste! I got one more use out of it before the bottle was empty. Luckily, Sephora has a good return policy and I was able to get a refund for this. It may have been faulty packaging on just the one, but I doubt it. For such an expensive product, I would expect that the company would have put more effort into the packaging to ensure that the precious product doesn't just leak out. If you want to try a dry shampoo from Oscar Blandi...even though there are many, many other options out there now, stick with the one they have in powder form.

A MAC girl threw a sample of this in my bag when I made a purchase at the store. It had been a long time since I had bought a mascara from MAC. I have been more interested in trying formulas from other brands. So when I tried this, I was pleasantly surprised. It lengthened my lashes wonderfully while adding volume without clumping. The formula was not too wet or too dry and even the small sample size held up nicely as I used it over the course of a month. This mascara doesn't flake off during the day like some others tend to do. You can build this mascara up, which is nice, but I found that it only took two good coats to give a really dense, long lash look. This is not the easiest to get off, but I have this problem with many of my mascaras. After I work through a few other mascaras I already have on hand I may cycle back and purchase the full size of this. Considering mascaras need to be purchased fairly frequently, it is nice to have a high quality mascara like this available at a mid-level price point.

I love using the Spray de Mode after I heat style my hair. When I add messy waves or do soft curls, this is the hairspray I like best. It is super light so it doesn't weigh down my hair or my style. It doesn't make my hair sticky at all, but instead it remains very movable. Often times light hold hairsprays don't seem to hold curls in my thin, naturally straight hair. But I feel like this actually makes my style last through the entire day, without any stiffness. You retain all the movement you want, without sacrificing your style. This smells a bit strong when you first spray it, but I think it smells good. The smell also fades pretty quickly so you aren't stuck with the fragrance all day. This is a pricey hairspray but it is a really unique product, unlike any other kind of hairspray I own or have tried. The large bottle is huge so it lasts forever. They also sell a travel size of this and that has even lasted quite a while. This is an aerosol hairspray, but the nozzle has never clogged like some others tend to do (a couple of my Paul Mitchell hairsprays do this). Reviewers who say this doesn't do anything are probably looking for a more traditional, firm holding hairspray. This just isn't that kind of product. Instead, it gives your hair a memory. Paul Mitchell Extra Body Firm Finishing Spray or Bumble and Bumble Classic Hairspray would give that more traditional, firm holding style.

I was skeptical of this but it works wonders! My cuticles can get pretty sloppy, especially on my dominant hand, but just a small amount of this removed so much dead skin around my nails. It was amazing. I did one hand at a time, then pushed my cuticles back with a wooden pusher. The squeeze nozzle on this was also really easy to work with, applying only what I wanted where I wanted it. This didn't sting at all or smell bad. The smell was actually really light and pleasant. My nails looked so great after doing this. Having such neat nail beds made applying my polish so much easier. A little goes a long way so this bottle should last a good while. Very impressive!

I finally forked over the $18 for this deodorant after my drug store, aluminum-filled deodorant started giving me a painful, itchy rash under my arms! I knew aluminum was a no-no ingredient but I have friends that have tried aluminum-free deodorants and then had to switch back because the natural, aluminum-free ones did not effectively combat their odor. I heard a few really positive things about this deodorant and I was desperate for a solution so I picked this up in the Pure Vanilla scent from Sephora. All of the great things that people say about this deodorant are true! First of all, when you apply this, it feels like you are putting a whipped lotion under your arms. It is so moisturizing and yet it absorbs into your skin quickly so you can still get dressed right away. The vanilla scent is not too overpowering, which is a definite plus in a deodorant for me. After using this just a few days, the rash under my arms (which was quite aggressive!) had cleared up. Amazing! I can vouch that this deodorant really does keep odor at bay. I typically get some body odor by the end of the day, especially if I am wearing a fabric that does not breathe easily. With this, I don't have to worry about smelling at all. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a natural deodorant and has been frustrated with natural, but ineffective deodorants in the past. The Lavanila brands itself is great. They use all natural ingredients, don't test on animals and have several vegan products. I will definitely be repurchasing this when my current one runs out. The price is steep for a deodorant but this amount lasts so long. You also have to figure that your money is going toward a product without all the rubbish traditional deodorants are filled with.

I bought this in perversion which is the true black color in this range. I really love this for adding intensity to the lash line. These pencils are soft, so they really glide on and blend nicely. Once they set, however, they stay put which is great. One of the main reasons I don't use pencil liners much is because they lack precision and staying power. These at least provide the latter. They don't last forever on the waterline, but they are far better than other brands I have tried. I have the color deviant in a mini size which is a bright, slightly sparkly blue color. I love this for a pop of color. The range of colors that Urban Decay provides in these liners is amazing. I have my eye on the midnight blue color, binge, as well. At $19, these are fairly steep for a pencil liner. However, they are better than any MAC liners I have tried and are less pricey than the Stila smudge sticks, which cost $22. I'd recommend these, especially if you are looking for a unique liner color.

I bought this to use as a blush brush and did so for a long time. What convinced me to fork over the $45 for this brush was that it felt so soft. It was the softest brush I had ever felt! This feels great when you're applying product. It also picks up powders really nicely. I have since moved away from using this as a blush brush because I have learned that I like something smaller for my cheeks. This brush is so big and flat that it is actually great for blending products together (think blush and bronzer). I also love using this like a big eraser when I have applied too much blush or if my foundation looks a bit heavy. The relatively sharp edge does make this nice for applying contour colors. It applies them quite sharply, but then you have the big flat top of the brush to blend it out. This brush has many uses and is unique to what I have seen. I only wish it was slightly smaller and less expensive.

This is definitely one of my most used eyeshadow brushes. I had the 224 from MAC before this and now I can't believe I ever made it without the 217. If you are trying to decide between the 224 and the 217 for eye shadow and blending, I would definitely go with the 217. It is much more versatile and easy to work with. This is great for applying shadow all over the lid or for application just to the crease or the outer corners of the eyes. I mostly use this with powder products but it also works nicely at blending cream shadows. You can lay this brush flat and cover a large area, but on its side, it is quite narrow so it is good for precision that way. I just love the versatility of this brush so much. I have had mine for at least three years now and it is just as good as when I bought it. No shedding or splaying at all. This is also really easy to clean. If you are building your brush roll, this is an essential.
