This is the first dry shampoo that I saw and tried. I loved the idea and am now a dry shampoo fiend. This product just isn't on par with many of the others out there now. I'd love to see Bumble and Bumble rework this because so many of their other products are wonderful and they are capable of great things. I purchased this in the brown shade and the ONE good thing about these being in different colors is that you won't get the white cast that so many dry shampoos leave. The horrible thing about a colored (spray) dry shampoo like this is the mess. It colors your actual scalp which does not look natural. Your bathroom will also be covered in this stuff and it isn't the easiest to wash away from your counter top, sink, walls, etc. The spray nozzle is quite stiff so you cannot control how much to spray so you usually end up spraying too much. I will say that this is good at soaking up excess oil from your scalp. However, you hair and scalp will feel a bit grimy after using.

I am a big fan of Origins skin care so I had my eye on this eye cream for quite some time. I was lucky to receive a generous sample of this (especially since a little goes a long way). I just wasn't impressed with most of the aspects of this. The highlighting affect that it promises seems to come from tiny particles in the product (i.e. shimmer). For someone who has under eye circles, I felt like this didn't help brighten the area at all. Although I rely on corrector and/or concealer to camouflage my under eye circles, I am weary of a product that markets itself as aiding the appearance of under eye circles when it simply doesn't. This is a light cream, not heavy at all so nice for daytime, but the cream does have a lot of slip. I also wish that this had some sort of SPF in it since it is marketing as a day eye cream. I'll continue sampling eye creams until I find a better fit.

I was previously using OPI's Rapid Dry Top Coat and was disappointed with the application and effect it gave. I turned to Seche Vite because I had heard good things and noticed the manicurists using it themselves at their salons. I have loved using this to finish off my at-home manicures. It adds a wonderful shine and really makes all my nail polish colors pop. I didn't expect it to dry as fast as it did. That was really impressive. Your manicure still won't be SET for a while longer, but this protects against superficial bumps and what not. The brush is fairly large so it makes application a snap. I never have any air bubbles or gloopiness like I was getting with the OPI top coat. If you really want your manicure to last, reapply this top coat every few days. This will ensure that your nails stay shiny and protected. I love this and will certainly repurchase again and again.

My boyfriend got this hand cream for me in a set from Aveda. This was a nice gift, but not something I would normally shell out money for. I have enjoyed using this, especially at work. This cream is thick so a little goes a long way. My small bottle has lasted me quite a while and I use it everyday. This is not greasy at all which is great. After I apply it to my hands I don't have to wait to get back to work on my computer. The smell is light and aromatic, very spa-like. It is nothing that will envelope the room, which is a big plus for me. Although I like this, I probably would not buy a bottle for myself. There are plenty of nice hand creams out there that cost less money.

For the most part I really like the Seaweed range from The Body Shop as well as most of their skincare. I wanted a weekly scrub and this seaweed one attracted me because it targets combination skin and claims to help with large pores. This is a gel consistency and has physical scrubbers in it. I'd much prefer this if it had more scrubbers that were smaller. It feels like this is scratching my face but since there aren't many exfoliating pieces, it also seems ineffective. I had to toss over half my bottle because I just felt like I was harming my skin when I used this, and for such lackluster results anyway. There are far superior exfoliators out there.

Most of my massive lipstick collection is made up of MAC lipsticks. Whether you are new to lipsticks or are a veteran looking for something new, you can find something great in the MAC lipstick section. MAC has various finishes for their lipsticks, ranging from matte to creamy. The color payoff is always amazing. My favorite finishes have been satin and amplified. Satin is wonderful because it has staying power, but isn't too drying on the lips like the matte lipsticks can be. I love amplified because the consistency is very similar to the satins, but the more you build up whatever color you put on, the more vibrant and bright the effect is. My first amplified shade was "Up the Amp" a really pretty purple color that is deep, vibrant and yet totally wearable. I still adore it. MAC lipstick shades and finishes also mix together nicely so you can create your own custom color. These smell slightly like vanilla but it is subtle. There is no taste either which is a big plus. Whenever I am on the hunt for the perfect particular shade, or am just in the mood for something different, MAC is the first place I go. I always have better luck here with lipstick than I do at Sephora. Cannot recommend these lipsticks enough!

This shower oil is a real treat. It looks and feels luxurious. This glides over the skin and turns into a light lather, perfect for cleaning your body and for shaving. The smell is fragrant, yet light at the same time. It lingers on the skin for a little while after the shower which is nice because many body washes don't. My legs get quite dry and sensitive so this shower oil has been really helpful. I love this and would definitely get this unique product again!

I adore dry shampoos and have tried many, both good and bad. This is one of the good ones but not the best. It has a nice light smell, nothing over powering at all like some dry shampoos have. This dispenses a very fine, even mist which is great. The nozzle has also not gotten clogged once. For combating oil, this is excellent. It adds body and helps my fine hair hold a style better. My issue is that it does leave a white cast on my brown hair. I can brush it out, but it takes a while. When you are trying to get really close to the roots to sop of that oil, this is rather cumbersome.

I have the Illamasqua Cream Pigment in the color "Hollow" and I adore it. I bought this to use as a cream contour on my fair skin. It works wonderfully for this. It is easy to apply with either your fingers or a synthetic bristle brush, and since it is a cream, it lasts longer on the skin than a powder product would. The "hollow" color is great because it looks like a natural shadow on your face, not orange at all. I recently started using this same cream pigment to define the sockets of my eyes and it is great for that too! Again, very easy to apply and gives lovely natural definition.

I love this foundation, especially for the fall/winter months. The consistency is wonderful and it applies more smoothly than any other foundation I've tried. A little goes a long way, so one pump covers my entire face easily. The packaging on this is chic and functional. The pump gives great control so you only dispense exactly what you need. This provides light to medium coverage and imparts a dewy finish. The formula is so moisturizing so it is perfect when my skin is dry. Other foundations can flake or accentuate dry patches, but this doesn't at all. This foundation won't last forever on your skin, but applying a primer will help extend its wear. I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily skin (the aqua version is probably more suitable) but for combination/dry and dry skinned gals, this is a total winner.
