This is good to rid hair of residue and smells good, but I much prefer Neutrogena's version of this. This left my hair tangled, unruly, and without shine.

My husband plays the trumpet as a back-up for famous bands at times. He also teaches band and music students. He advised me when we first met to use a medicated product on lips to keep them in the best shape. This is rich with petrolatum, cocoa butter, and mixed waxes, but it also has soothing camphor, oil of cloves, menthol, and phenol. Keeps my lips soft and very smooth!

I have this in "Natural Eyelight" (it comes in "Hint of Berries," "Hint of "Taupaz," and "Classic Eyelight" ). The mica and other minerals catch the light and play with it, leaving you looking rested and nicely glowing. Use it alone or with other shadows. And all for about $8.00!

Paula's Choice Resist Ultra-Light Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum
Great, But Prefer the New Lighter-Weight Serum
Paula's Choice products are great for a lot of reasons. They generally do what they claim. They do not have added ingredients which can prove to be irritants for many people. This serum is powerhouse. This is effective for anti-aging: Skin is brightened, firmed, softened. Lines and creases are blurred. The ingredients are amazing. It contains dimethicone, stabilized Vitamin C (what a treat for skin!), Ceramide 3 (a skin-repairing ingredient), antioxidants, Vitamin E, anti-irritants, glycerin, soybean seed extract, and palm oil, among many others. It does make a radical difference when used consistently, but I find it a little heavy on my skin. Makeup doesn't apply as well as possible over this serum. Paula's Choice was savvy enough to come out with a lightweight version, and that one I absolutely LOVE, as does my husband. This works well, but I am always aware that I am wearing it.

These little balloon-like sheets pick up oil like a magnet without disturbing your makeup at all. You don't have to worry about adding powder to keep shine at bay. I have packets of these everywhere, from my vanity to my purse, desk, glove compartment, you name it!

Olay products just keep getting better. I am still amazed at how far they've come, from a gentle pink fluid in a simple, black-and-white box to a treasure trove of products for nearly every condition possible! I've been using this on and off for awhile and love it (I stray because I tend to be fickle and try other brands). This particular product claims to deal with seven specific issues: 1) Diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles; 2) Smoothes skin's texture--visibly and to the touch; 3) Improves surface dullness, giving a radiant glow; 4) Evens skin's tone to make it look younger; 5) Minimize the appearance of pores; 6) Visibly reduce blotches and age spots; and 7) Soothe dry skin, hydrating with Olay moisture. A look at the ingredients shows why it does work; it contains glycerin, dimethicone (a humectant), salicylic acid (works to rid skin of dead, dry cells), squalane (a lipid for moisture), and titanium dioxide, which slightly brightens and whitens your complexion. I love this product. The pump metes out just a small amount without contaminating the rest of the product. It's great for all types of skin, from oily to very dry. It is lightweight, never leaves a heavy residue, and truly hydrates and rids skin of fine furrows. I did notice a softer, more radiant look to my face (and neck--don't forget your neck and décolletage here). It does indeed feel better. Skin has improved clarity. There are a few brown spots on one cheek which weren't changed for the better by this cream, but most creams do not work as they say they will on uneven pigmentation. I like the fact that it absorbs easily. I wait very briefly and can apply my Lancôme powder foundation with ease! All in all, it's a winner! An SPF factor would make it better, but for the price you pay, you do get more than your money's worth!

I reviewed this for another site years ago and continue to purchase, although it is expensive ($53.00). This body butter is velvet souffle, extremely moisturizing but never oily at all. It penetrates even the toughest, most chapped skin to soothe and heal. The fragrance is an enticing mix of snow gardenia, juniper berry, angelica, ylang-ylang, vanilla, and sandalwood. The best word to describe this delight? Addictive!

One of the leaders in moisturizing takes it to new heights with this luxurious, deliciously scented rich gel. It deeply hydrates skin, soothing it in the winter and making it worthy of exposure in the summer. This is one of the best shower gels out there; don't forget to use it as a bubble bath for a real beauty treatment with time for yourself!

This is a gorgeous, uplifting, fresh, unique, feminine scent! I think only a week passed before I received a sample and bought my first bottle. This is a wonderful blend of sparkling zesty green apple leaves, orange mandarin, pink magnolia, purple freesia, and soft blue musk. Smell--and fall in love!

L'Occitane is a favorite of my husband and me. The shea butter deeply moisturizes. Honey and sweet almond extracts help to hydrate, while the gentle scent of ylang-ylang and jasmine soothes your senses. This absorbs easily, results in smooth skin, and is never greasy. You can rarely go wrong with shea or cocoa butter.
