The brush is certainly voluminous. It's actually 50% bigger than the classic L'Oréal volumizing brush and it has a little bit of an hourglass shape to it at certain angles. The formula itself has hyaluronic and collagen spheres which is pretty impressive considering those ingredients are usually saved for skincare products. For a waterproof, I did not find that it dried out my lashes at all which was a huge relief. When I say this will not budge, I am dead serious. It did not smear or flake, even during one of my famous cat naps. You definitely must use a waterproof mascara remover to take this formula off. The thing I would watch out for (and seems to be a common complaint), the brush does leave a little bit of clumping on the tips of the lashes. It's not horrible, I've had worse! It is easy to pick the little pieces off the ends of the lashes once they're completely dry which doesn't take long. This one is totally quick on the dry-down. If you like waterproof but don't want the dried-out and crispy lashes that are often the result of wearing it, this is an alternative to consider.

If legs are the issue, then check this one out. It works quickly, the price is fair, and the smell isn’t as bad as some others I’ve tried. (I’m talking to you, Nair) Put this on with the included sponge, wait a few minutes, and shower it away by gently wiping the hair with the opposite side of the sponge. Sounds easy enough, right?

White Sands Designer Gel really surprised me! I was expecting my hair to get really stiff since it’s a firm hold but it didn’t. For me, it offered a good amount of control when applied to towel dried hair and then blown out. It’s alcohol-free so that’s a plus! I tried styling my hair a few ways with this, and it performed really well. It didn’t weigh it down at the root and also held a frizz-less wavy style. For men, I think this is a great hair product too since I also tested this on the hubby for a few days. He’s got some wacky hair that will not stay no matter what you try to do. While it didn’t make his hair stay in a cute and slightly messy look for the entire day– I am keeping in mind that he has problems with staying power with even the strongest of hair products. I imagine for a guy without the hair of a porcupine this will be great for control without too much stiffness. It doesn’t have a strong fragrance and Designer Gel isn’t too girly, making it unisex.

Several years ago when DKNY’s Be Delicious Fragrance was released I could not get enough! The adorable apple-shaped bottle was a long-time favorite of mine with it’s crisp apple base and complimentary notes of soft tuberose, grapefruit, and cucumber. It’s so sweet and fresh, just yummy and I have a feeling this one will stand the test of time! I’ve gone back to this one over the years because it’s destined to be around forever, after all– it’s delicious!

No clumps, no smudges. That’s what I want! Bare Escentuals added Buxom Lash Mascara to their line of Holy Grail-worthy mascaras and I couldn’t be more pleased. The brush is just killer, and makes it look like you’re wearing false eyelashes. Aptly titled: “The Sexy Sister of Bare Escentualsâ€, I believe this hourglass brush makes a big difference. It doesn’t look like the brush on any of the mascaras I’ve test driven, and believe me. I’ve tested countless mascaras! You’ll get some mascara tips & tricks inside the box… yes! There are tips & tricks to mascara. I love that Buxom Lash’s formula allows you to build to your heart’s content without getting all clumpy. It’s just the right viscosity (ooh, Mr. Wizard word) that you can really work it before it dries unlike many mascaras where you’ve got time for 2 passes through your lashes and then after that it looks like spider legs! I’m lovin’ this one ladies.

Aside from a little gathering on the dry skin on the monster in question, it did a remarkable job prior to even applying foundation which would further make this issue detectable throughout the day had I not used the Smashbox High Definition Concealer at all. I didn’t find that it packed my pores but that it created a light-diffusing veil over them in attempt to minimize their depth. Woo hoo! Thank you very, very much. It pretty much can act like a primer too in the areas you’ve applied it, so I didn’t feel the need to start layering scads of products on my face to look ready to face the day unscathed. This is in a teeny tiny tube, but for good reason. You cannot just go to town with this baby because it is so pigmented– but not as much as some of the others I’ve reviewed. It’s texture made it easy to build where I needed the most with a gentle tapping motion with a clean fingertip (I prefer my ring finger). Keep in mind, the more you tap and try to rub, your redness will likely become even more noticeable so err on the side of caution if I could give just a little advice. A little should be enough to make you happy. After a little eye cream too, it concealed darkness under my eyes since a few of my veins are also close to the surface there. All in all, this concealer gets massive love from me! Kisses Smashbox.

The conditioner is rich and hydrating, but not so much that it leaves a coating on my strands. My hair feels better, looks better, and is a little bit more “with the programâ€!

I think this palette is rockin’, especially for the price. I didn’t rely on the included brushes, I’m sorry but they’re not very functional unless your name is Barbie and your boyfriend’s name is Ken! However, I was able to create a clean and simple fresh-faced bronze look in 5 minutes flat with my own brushes and a coat of mascara. Even if I am not the epitome of a South Beach glamazon hottie, it warms up my ghastly complexion and makes it easy to look polished and pretty in hardly any time at all with just the one palette.

he first night I used this mattifying moisturizer before bed, I knew I had stumbled upon something special. The technology behind this product actually allowed it to prove it’s efficacy DURING THE DAY even though I had used it at night. I stayed more matte longer during the day than before when I wasn’t using it and my skin felt smoother. Believe it or not, after 2 weeks I thought my pores didn’t look as enlarged as usual. Studies by Vichy actually show improvement at 4 weeks, but I promise for me it was only 2!

Tarte knows how to do cheek stains not just right, but right on the money! This pretty coral shimmer stain in a push-up stick just ROCKS! It’s lightweight, it doesn’t settle in my pores, and reminds me just a little bit of a famous NARS blush, only in a stain. Decide for yourself!
