This used to be my favorite file, simply because it was effective enough and inexpensive. But then I got one with a flaw in it that would snag my nail AS I was trying to file away snags. Plus these things don't last all that long if you are one to file your nails regularly (as I am). These finds of files are also best if you only file in one direction as otherwise your nails get weird and rough/snagged. I'm now a huge fan of glass files because you can file back and forth and it makes no difference, and you simply rinse them and they are back to brand new condition. No more Revlon files for me!

I have a very small sample jar of this that I got with a Sephora order awhile ago. I was using it once or twice a week, just to test it out, when I decided I liked it and looked it up on the Sephora site to see what it costs. Yeah. It gets two stars off because it is $90 for 2 oz. Aside from the price, this is an amazing moisturizer. I use as little as possible at a time so this (apparently pricey!!) sample will last as long as possible, and even with minimal application it makes my skin so soft and amazing. It has never caused breakouts, which is very important to me since I tend to be prone to breakouts, especially from new moisturizers. The scent is minimal and pleasant. It's thick, but smooth and not greasy. It soaks right in and even when my skin is super dry and almost scaly (sometimes I miss half a dose of of the supplement I need to keep my skin decent), if I use this before bed, I wake up with almost perfect skin in the morning (still a little dry, if I've missed my supplement--people with normal or even normal dry skin will be fine with this). This cream is so dreamy and if I could afford to buy it regularly I absolutely would.

I often find myself searching for a perfect makeup primer. This is very nearly it and is what I always come back to in between experiments with new products. It's very good. It's reliable. It doesn't make me breakout, ever. It's very light. I can wear it under my powder foundation and except for the fact that my makeup lasts so much longer, I can't even tell I have added another step to my morning routine. I generally buy the travel/sample size tube at Sephora because I only need one tiny dollop to cover my whole face so that small, less expensive, tube lasts me a very long time. I've purchased this multiple times and the only reason I don't give it 10 stars or give in and buy the full size to use full time is that it doesn't control shine as much as I would like. I have oily skin (most of the time) and tend to be shiny by mid-day. My perfect (seemingly imaginary) primer will be light, not break me out, AND control shine. So while this one is close, it isn't QUITE the one. Maybe someday!!

This mascara...it's pretty good. I don't think it's as amazing as I had heard it was before I bought it (the great reviews was the whole reason I bought it). I'm always looking for the mascara that will be perfect for me, but it just isn't this one. I generally take the time for two coats every morning, but even after two coats this mascara doesn't really make my lashes look as amazing as I like it to (nor as amazing as some other mascaras have made them look). I do still think it has a pretty nice formula. Except when my contacts are bothering me and I'm touching my eyes too much, this mascara does not smudge or flake, and I didn't even buy the waterproof version. It is also a very nice shade of black. I think I would just like it to give more volume. When I use it over a lash primer, it's perfect!

I've had several of these and I liked them ok...but some shades had WAY too much glitter for my taste. I like how the colors are sheer and I think the applicator is good. They are a tiny bit sticky but I like the scent. I tend to go through them pretty quickly because I reapply so often (they don't last very long, but most glosses don't...).

I ordered this brush thinking I could use it to replace an everyday shadow brush that is getting old. It's not really that kind of brush (I should have known, since it's specifically called a contour brush), but it's GREAT for it's intended purpose. It's a nice high quality brush for the price and does exactly what it's supposed to do.

I got a sample of this with a Sephora order and have been using it as my night moisturizer. It's ok. It goes on well and seems to moisturize as well as anything, but there's nothing really spectacular about it that I can see and I certainly don't love it as much as some other moisturizers I've used. I haven't had any trouble with breakouts or irritated skin since I started using it. It's good enough to use up the sample, but I doubt I'll ever purchase the full size of this product.

I got a sample of this from Sephora right around the time I ran out of my primer with SPF, so I decided to give it a try. Obviously a moisturizer is not the same as a primer, but I wanted the SPF since my other primers don't have it. For what it's worth, this has a great scent--it's a subtle citrus fragrance that I only smell while I'm putting it on and I really enjoy it. This soaks right in and makes my skin feel very soft. I have oily skin, but except for my forehead this doesn't seem to make it worse like some moisturizers do and it hasn't caused any breakouts.

I love a good primer and DO NOT love the way my pores look most of the time. When this first came out I wanted to try it but I talked myself out of buying it after reading some of the reviews on Sephora. However. I recently picked up a sample that I've been using and I'm actually impressed with it. It comes out of the tube looking like it's tinted which made me nervous. I'm so fair skinned tinted products often don't work well on me. But this goes on translucent and very, very smooth. I only use it on the trouble spots--forehead, nose, chin--and put it on after a moisturizer with SPF. This makes my skin look smooth and amazing. The only thing I don't love is that it doesn't control oil at all. I've used some other primers that prevented my mid-afternoon shiny forehead situation, but this one does not. I'm still undecided about whether I'll purchase this after my sample runs out...

I've never really had a huge interest in this product, but I got a free sample in a Sephora order so I decided to try it out. It's kind of thin, I think, but it goes on nicely and is very easy to blend. It's really a very nice, subtle highlighter, though if you wanted or needed to, I think you could probably layer it on a little heavier if you wanted a more intense look. I used this after my moisturizer and primer, but before I put on my powder foundation and the result was a very natural, lit from within glow. I put it on my cheek bones and it was also great as a highlighter right below my brows. It was quicker and easier than digging out a pale shimmery eye shadow to use on that area! Next time I need to purchase a highlighter, I just might get this one...
