  • Coach Poppy Flower Eau de Parfum Spray

A reviewer below describes this as a "soft floral" and I think that is a perfect description for this. It's not as strong or heavy as Coach Poppy (not that that one is all that heavy, just heavier than this one) and it doesn't turn into a super sweet scent throughout the day as the Coach Poppy does. I do like this one and wear it from time to time, but I still prefer the original.

  • Dolce & Gabbana Rose The One

This perfume is nothing short of luxurious. Yes, it's a touch pricey, compared to some other scents, but in my opinion it's worth every penny. I've never smelled the original "The One" so I don't know how this compares, but you can definitely pick up the rose tones in this. It's strong enough that you don't need to use a lot (making it last longer) and it lasts very nicely throughout the day. I always feel so beautiful when I wear this one--it's very high on my favorite perfumes list!

  • Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau de Toilette

I didn't hate this one, but I wasn't in love with it either. I didn't feel that it lasted as long as I like my perfumes to last. Besides being too light, it's a little too citrus-y for my taste. I had a deluxe sample which I wore until it ran out, but I won't be purchasing this one.

  • Dior Rouge Dior Replenishing Lipcolour

I bought one of these at Sephora as a little treat for myself awhile back and I LOVED the formula. Very rich and creamy with good pigmentation and amazing lasting power. Unfortunately I accidentally bought a shade that is almost identical to a YSL lipstick I already own, so I went back to try to exchange it for another color. The problem is they didn't have a lot of shades that would look ok with my coloring (fair skin, red hair) and the ones they did have I already owned from other brands. I ended up just returning it for a refund, but I'll be keeping an eye out for them to come out with a wider variety of shades.

  • Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top Coat

I am in love with this product. I had a nice OPI top/base coat that I accidentally shattered on my tile bathroom floor, so this was my budget replacement that I grabbed the last time I had to stop into CVS for a prescription. I LOVE it. I did get bubbles the first time I used it, but the next time I put on a thinner layer for the base coat and had no trouble at all. I went a little thicker on the top coat and still had no bubbles, so I think it's that base coat that matters most. This stuff is amazing. I painted my nails on Saturday with this as the base and top coat. Since then I've done loads of typing, filing, paperwork, etc. I never wear gloves to wash dishes (and I have washed dishes this week), plus a million other tasks that have made my nails chip in the past. Today is Wednesday and there is not even one chip and my nails are still very shiny and looking nice. I'm tempted to bring this stuff along to my next salon manicure...

  • Smashbox Cream Eye Liner

To be fair, this is the only cream liner I've ever tried, but I did like it! I don't care for the fact that it takes extra time to put on a cream liner with a brush (compared to how quickly I can pop the lid off a pencil and line my eyes) but it does make a very nice line that looks a little different from what I can get from a pencil. This liner also had decent staying power, though I'd like to try out a few other brands to see if I can find something just a little better. It does go on very smoothly, though, and is available in a gorgeous variety of colors. However, if it starts to dry out, it gets clumpy and difficult to apply evenly

Hanae Mori - Hanae Mori for Men

    Great Men's Fragrance!!

I bought this for my boyfriend last year (after someone in Sephora gave him a sample while he was waiting for me to finish my shopping) and it has become part of his regular cologne rotation. It's a very deep scent and you can definitely smell the chocolate in it. He gets compliments all the time and people ask what he's wearing, but if your guy doesn't like heavy scents, he may not like this one. There is a touch of some floral components that lighten it up a little, though, so it might be worth a try! This scent is so amazing, I'm always tempted to try it out on myself. (Unfortunately I've found that I don't enjoy any of the fragrances Hanae Mori makes for women, even though I really, really tried to like them.) This scent is definitely "unforgettable."

  • Philosophy Birthday Girl

I'm not a fan of Philosophy products AT ALL, even though I've really tried to like them since everyone talks about them so much. The vanilla cake scent is nice, if you like vanilla (I do), though it is a bit on the sweet side. I don't think it makes good bubbles at all, so calling it a bubble bath is a huge stretch. I ended up using it as my shower gel that I only use when traveling.

  • Philosophy Amazing Grace Spray Fragrance

I've never been impressed with anything, really, from the Philosophy brand. But I love perfume so I've tried out this scent. No thank you! I can understand why other people might like it--it's not disgusting or anything--but it definitely doesn't fit my taste or personality. Perhaps it's TOO floral for my taste? I think that may be it. I feel like it's too overwhelming with the flowery scents. I prefer my flower scents to be a bit lighter and mixed in with something a little sweeter than the musk (which, honestly, I can only barely detect in this fragrance, even though they list it as one of the main aspects of the scent...).

  • Sephora Billionaire Boyfriend Fragrance

I had a sample of this from Sephora and while I don't like it quite as much as I like the original Boyfriend fragrance, I do think it's pretty nice. It has a softer scent to the original and has a touch of a powdery fragrance to it, without smelling TOO powdery. I like the subtle flowery touches and I don't think the sandalwood comes across too strong (as I think it often does in perfumes). I may not purchase it, because I still prefer the original, but I sure used up the sample awfully quick!
