I am a big time mascara skeptic. It takes A LOT to impress me, because I feel like no matter the claims made, most mascaras are more or less the same. And with only a few exceptions they are mostly just ok. This mascara is one of the exceptions. The brush is relatively narrow, which I find makes it easier to maneuver and get to all my lashes. The color really is the deepest black I think I have ever seen in a mascara. It goes on smooth and doesn't clump at all. I do feel it stays wet for a bit longer than I'd like, but that can be good at bad. On the one hand, it makes it easier to add additional coats (because one coat gives me nice length, but not as much volume), but on the other once application is finished I have to be extremely careful not to smudge somehow before it has dried all the way. I have worn this mascara with my contact lenses several times and it didn't flake or irritate my eyes at all which is always a big plus for me. This stuff stays put and lasts all day, I really like it!

I have the Bath & Body Works pillow mist in a lavender vanilla scent and it is wonderful. So relaxing. It does need a bit of time to dry after you spray it on and before you lie down on the pillow, so I just spritz mine before I brush my teeth and wash my face for the night and it's always dry by the time I'm finished. It's not overpowering at all, just soft and soothing. I have also sprayed it on my pajamas for winding down before bedtime or on a microwaveable pillow (after heating) when treating jaw tension. I definitely recommend this product (in whatever scent you like!) and will be purchasing again.

I have been a devoted liner pencil user for years, but a friend sent me a couple jars of these liners that she wasn't going to use. After letting them sit in my makeup case for awhile I finally decided to give them a chance and am I ever glad I did!! One is black and the other is bronze. In the jar, the bronze looks like it's way too bright/shimmery and wouldn't look good...but when I tried it, it was perfection. The shade is perfect (particularly with brown eyes) and once you get it on the way you like it, it's there. It doesn't smudge or run or wear off the way some of my pencil liners do. And because I'm applying with a brush, it takes a bit longer to put on, but it's so much easier to put the liner exactly where I want it close to the lash line. The result is gorgeous and long-lasting. It's not ideal for me for every day because I'm often short on time in the mornings, but I like having a few of these on hand for when I have more time to spend on my makeup. Definitely recommend!

I had a sample of this cleanser and I was pretty excited to try it because it sounded different from any cleanser I've used before. Spoiler: I was disappointed. The packaging is gorgeous--bright green and very eye catching and pretty. The instructions say to massage the cleanser gently so the enzymes can work. It has a gritty texture like many exfoliating cleansers, but it's much finer texture than any scrub I've used before. The scent was pleasant--a subtle mix of floral and herbal. That's pretty much all I liked about it. It didn't cleanse my skin well at all (as evidenced by the grossness on the cotton ball when I used toner afterward) and caused my skin to break out. I consider myself to have acne prone skin, but a product hasn't given this much trouble for a really long time. I'm glad I tried it because I'm always happy to try new products, but this is not a product I would purchase or recommend.

I have a small tube of this in the "pale nude" shade. When it comes out of the tube, it looks like a pale, pale pink which troubled me at first. But it smooths on nicely and blends well with my skin tone. I use it under a powder foundation and it really helps even out my coloring and it's definitely brightening. The scent as I'm applying it smells like sun block, but that smell wears off quickly and it looks so great on, I'm not sure it would bother me even if it didn't wear off! This product is great--I don't seem to need much to get the look I like with it. I don't love the price on a full-size tube, but I know it would last a long time, so I'll have to consider it when my sample tube runs out!

I got a small sample jar of this from Sephora not too long ago and knowing how great Algenist products are, I saved it for when I knew I really needed a great face cream. Along came my wedding week and wow, did this cream deliver. I only used it for a few days before the event, but right away it had my skin looking young and fresh. It's a nice, thick cream and it doesn't take much to get all the moisture my skin needed for that time of year (early November). I also used it when I was traveling at Christmas and I needed a little more to do the job then, as winter weather dries my skin out so much, but I still got the same fantastic results. If you can afford it, I highly recommend this cream!

This gloss...it's pretty. The packaging is sleek and attractive. The shades are gorgeous--in the tube and on the lips. And, I mean, It's Marc Jacobs! I wanted to love it, I really did. And to a degree I still do, for all the reasons I just mentioned. However, there are some problems. Most of them stem from the fact that this gloss is REALLY runny. As in, I accidentally dripped some on my pants once because I didn't get excess product wiped off the applicator before I pulled it away from the tube (this has never happened to me with a lip gloss before). Once it's applied it slides off lips FAST. It feels nice and feels like it's still there, but I have to reapply constantly to keep any color, especially when I'm drinking (which is always because I drink a lot of water). I also find this feathers pretty badly on me. It's hard to tell unless I look closely because the color isn't very saturated (it's not supposed to be--"sheer" is in the product name), but it's definitely there. I've obviously continued wearing this, but I can't in good conscience recommend it to anyone and I wouldn't buy it again. The shade I have is a sparkly raspberry color.

A friend of mine tried this and raved about it, so I went into Sephora and picked up a tube in the "Manic" shade which is described as a "soft wine." On me the shade is a little more vibrant than what I would picture for something called "soft wine" but it still looks really great. It is kind of a thick lipstick, but that helps it last really well, I think. And it feels so smooth and decadent when it's on, no drying at all like with some lip products. The packaging is gorgeous as well. The tube is shiny, very pretty, and (this is important for those of us who leave lipstick kicking around a handbag) durable! This is a lipstick I wouldn't mind owning in other shades. In fact, I liked this shade so much, I bought it for my friend who told me how great these lipsticks are! She loves it, too.

Wow. I only had a sample of this that came with a Sephora order and I really only used it as an afterthought. I was low on my regular face cream and since it's currently winter, I needed something to throw on at night before bed, so I used this. It's incredible. The consistency is just like any other face cream and to me it seemed to be unscented (I don't have a strong sense of smell, though). Every morning that I had used this the night before, I woke up with the brightest, healthiest, most amazing looking skin! The problem, of course, is that it's $32 an ounce (currently on Sephora) and my usual face cream is more like $30 for 6 ounces. I would usually take a star off for a high price, but with Fresh, and especially with this product, you're always getting your money's worth if you can afford to spend it.
