This is by far the most durable "long lasting" lip product I've ever used (and I've used lots of them). These are deeply pigmented and you have to be quick to correct any application mistakes because it sets fast. Very fast. And then it doesn't move. EXCEPT around the inner edge of my lips where I'm eating and drinking. I wore this to my husband's office party and didn't reapply all night because my lips felt like it wasn't needed. When I finally looked in the mirror at the end of the night, I did look a little ridiculous (my own fault, I should have checked throughout the night). But it wasn't that huge of a spot that anyone I know and trust even noticed and said something, so not the end of the world. The shade I have ("Empress" a deep berry shade) is pretty dark on me and will probably be reserved for special occasions mostly. But I am so incredibly impressed with the staying power! And my lips never felt horribly dry when I was wearing this, as often happens with the long wear lip products. This is great stuff, just make sure to check and/or touch up from time to time if you're eating and drinking.

I grabbed one of these at CVS--it was the pink/purple one called "Love is in the Bath"--because I was traveling, not feeling well, and wanted something fun and relaxing for my bath (but with no Lush nearby). It had a pleasant, kind of flowery scent in the package. It didn't smell as strong in the bath, but still detectable and I enjoyed it. What I enjoyed most was the beautiful bright pink color it turned the water. Overall not a terrible investment...but if I had the option of Lush, I would always choose that first. More fizz, more options, and better scents.

I LOVE this powder, though with the note that they just happen to make it in a shade that's perfect for me. The design of the compact is great--it's easy to use and fits nicely in my makeup case. The sponge included is soft, works very well for application, and fits perfectly in a little compartment under the makeup, The powder itself goes on smoothly, blends easily, and lasts all day for me, whether I use it over a primer or not! I love how great my skin looks when I use this powder and it has never caused my skin to break out. My only complaint is that there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of product included for the price. I don't even use it every day, but I hit the bottom of the pan pretty quickly, and as soon as there was one little hole, the rest of the powder around the edge of the hole started crumbling a little, so now I have to be very, very careful how I get powder onto the sponge to avoid further crumbling. I haven't decided yet whether I'll buy it again--but given how well the shade matches my coloring, it's pretty likely.

A friend of mine had raved about this gloss and how wonderful it is, so I was pleased when I received one in the Naked On the Run set. The shade is "Sesso" which is described as "rose/pink shimmer" but on me it really is a most perfect nude. It adds just enough shine with a hint of shimmer and I love the color. The consistency is very smooth and it makes my lips feel very soft. I really love the applicator--the shape is great and it feels nice going on. It's easy to put on without making a mess. I love the packaging in general on this--the gold tube is so pretty and you get a decent amount of product in the tube. This is a gloss I'd love to own in other shades eventually!

My husband bought the shower oil for me for Christmas and they included several sample packets of this in the bag. One sample lasted 3 nights (I only use eye cream at night) and I have to say I wasn't impressed with this. Three nights away from my regular eye cream and I was waking up with noticeable bags and dark circles again. The texture is fine and I'm sure it works nicely for lines around the eyes, but the bags and dark circles are what I need the most help with. I'll probably use the last sample packets I have, but I'll have to alternate nights between this cream and my usual eye cream.

I was worried about whether I'd like this product since I'm not a huge fan of almond...but it doesn't actually smell that much like almond! To me it smells mostly like plastic with just a hint of a perfume-y kind of almond. But it's not a super heavy scent and the weird smell is really my only complaint. Otherwise this stuff is fantastic. I started with a tiny sample bottle and I was amazed with how much softer my skin was. And after several luxurious showers that tiny bottle was not even half gone because it doesn't take much to do the job. It really does foam up nicely when you mix it with water (and don't be shy with the water), and it leaves my skin SO moisturized, I no longer have trouble with itchy dry skin all over like I usually do in the winter. I will probably only use this in the winter since it's so pricey and I'd like my big bottle to last as long as possible...but that won't be difficult, I'm sure. Wonderful stuff and I will definitely buy again when I run out!

I tried this product a few years ago and ended up giving it away for a friend to try out. On my oily, acne prone skin it actually CAUSED breakouts. I was disappointed, as that is the exact opposite of what it was supposed to be doing for my skin.

I've been using this regularly for almost two years. Even though it's meant to treat existing spots, I always smooth a thin layer over my whole face to help prevent breakouts and it works!! I don't have any trouble with it being drying, even though I use it twice a day on my entire face.

Not really great either. I've had several of these in several colors and most of them I got rid of before finishing the tube. The colors look ok on, with a hint of sparkle. Some of the colors weren't the most flattering on me, though that's not really Benefit's fault. They were definitely stickier than I really like a lip gloss to be and didn't last well at all. I don't mind frequent reapplications when it's just a gloss--if the color & texture are wonderful. But this just...isn't.

I love Benefit, I always have. When a friend gave me one of these, swearing it was one of the best primers she's used, I was excited. But like other reviewers, I just don't see a difference when I use it. I actually came to look at the reviews because I wasn't sure I was using it right! I might give it another chance or two, but I'm not expecting much from it.
