I used this on my wedding day and it also happens to be one of my mom's favorite makeup items. I used a mauve and it was really pretty, but it reminded me too much of actual lacquer paint. It was sooooo drying to my lips. And boy, was it a pain in the tushy to remove! You better blend fast too, because it dries fast and if you make mistakes, it will not budge. I had to keep reapplying the balm that's included so my lips did not look like the Crypt Keeper's. I will not use it again.

I really liked this balmish gloss. This one is very soothing and moisturizing with a good range of colors. It is shiny without looking like you have drool pooling in the corners of your lips. And my hair didn't stick to it! Yay!

I have used this cleanser quite a bit, and sure, it is gentle as all get out and gets my skin squeaky clean. But I find the texture, smell off putting and kind if runny, even slimy. It is just not one of my favorites. I prefer an oil or something more creamy than Cetaphil any day.

I have to get this in the Fair shade since I'm pretty fair and kind of ickily veiny. This makes your legs look so much healthier and does not seem to irritate the, post shave. Not orange at all, a very big bonus. It has a nice consistency and not runny like some brands. It makes for an adequate moisturizer too and seems to help me look less veiny and see through like a X-ray.

I love this tinted lip balm in the Raisin shade, which is a nice reddish brown. This is really moisturizing and the slim size makes it easy to pop in my jeans pocket, barely detectable. I did have to keep reapplying, but it had fairly good staying power for a tinted lip balm. The coverage is impressive, almost to lipstick type coverage but still light and moisturizing. In fact, I find it preferable to Clinique Almost Lipstick. It is also not sticky and has a pretty shine.

I have yet to find a deodorant that is truly invisible, and this one is no different. They do seem to keep the pits high and dry, but I did not really notice any moisturizing action on them as claimed. But then again, that's not exactly something I'd stay up nights thinking about.

I got this after a very strong, almost pushy, recommendation from my dentist's office about six or seven years ago. I balked at the price but was reassured it is the top of the line for brushing teeth. Once I got over the idea that my dentist is probably making a tidy sum pushing these toothbrushes, heck, even selling them at their office, I gave it a try and have not been back to a regular toothbrush since. They have a nifty timer to make sure you do a thorough job brushing, which comes in handy. It is also very soothing and massages my gums. Can clean your tongue lickety split too. My beef is the cost for the unit itself plus the replacement brush heads. Kinda high but worth it.

I have been looking more into going more natural with my personal care products lately. Toms just seems to be one of the most trustworthy companies who don't use nasty chemicals in their products nor do any type of animal testing. I tried this and was a little skeptical at first, but it tastes great, almost astoundingly like the old school, plain Colgate back in the day. It is a pleasure to use and cleans my teeth very well.

This is pretty good for wavy, dryish, frizz prone hair like mine, especially prior to heat styling. I don't like the forceful whoosh when you first spray the mousse out, would almost knock a small person over! It gives nice control and shine. It also seems to moisturize fairly well. But when I used it to air dry my hair, it left my hair a little too crunchy for my taste, kinda unnatural looking. I think I'll try mixing a golf ball of mousse with a squirt of leave-in conditioner and see if that will lighten up the crunchiness a bit.

I love this little set of curlers. They heat up in two shakes of a lamb's tail, come in a really handy carrying case and it's pink! These come in with the traditional metal roller pins, which I'm not very fond of but they do the trick. Get yourself some of those plastic roller clamps from Sally's and you will thank me later. The pins kind of leave a bit of a mark. My hair looked great and took me 5, 10 minutes tops. I have wavy, sort of fine and dryish hair that is prone to frizz and these really smoothed things out. I tend to like larger sized rollers, though, so I bought the next size up kit but still have this one as backup.
