Hi, all!  I am kinda a beauty junkie of sorts, but there's quite a bit I still have to learn in terms of hair, make-up, overall beauty since I'll still always be the slightly spazzy and tomboyish small town gal who never really blossomed into a full-fledged glamazon. I admire the heck out of glamourous gals who put time and effort into a gorgeous look, like Dita von Teese, for example.  I am a sucker for natural, effortless beauty too, though, which I mostly use for my own beauty routine but love a chance to really doll myself up.  Just learned a great trick to style my long, wavy, slightly fine/dry hair overnight through this site - bun curls!  I like to just wash and condition my hair, put a little leave-in conditioner mixed with mousse or styling lotion through my hair and comb it through, gather and twist it into a bun with bobby pins then hit the hay!  Definitely works to take the frizz out and enhance the natural waves.  It's beauty tricks like these that I especially love - smart, time-saving tricks with maximum results.  But get my a good tutorial on a lovely retro-lined eye, and I'm there too.  My favorite brands are Aveda for hair stuff, Origins for face/body, The Body Shop for nearly everything, Sephora brand, NYX, Jordana, Cover Girl, Revlon, L'Oreal, Alba Botanica, Eos, Beyond Organic that I get through my friend, Korres, Philosophy, Ole Henricksen, Stila, L'Occitane, Tarte, and Urban Decay.  I love the BeautyInsider program at Sephora a lot, and shop their online sales all the time.  I also belong to CVS Beauty Club which is pretty great for drugstore buys, and Ulta for their coupons, clearance aisle goodies, rewards program and sales.  I can't get enough!  This is my favorite beauty site so far, and I really enjoy reading and submitting reviews on here.  Good times!
