These shadows are very nice. They are velvety smooth and easy to apply. In general, they aren't the most pigmented, but they are still very nice and worth the purchase. I tend to buy them in palette form because you get more value.

This is a great primer. It provides a nice base so your shadow colors apply vibrantly. I use this anytime I wear shadow and my shadow will look just as good as it did when first applied even if I have it on over ten hours. I never have issues with creasing and I have oily lids. It applies very nicely-- it glides on smoothly and evenly. You don't have to use very much either. I'm still going through the sample sizes that came with my Naked3 palette months after getting them and I'm not even half way through them even though I use them almost daily.

I recieved a nice sized sample from Prescriptives of this product. The cream is unscented which is fantastic if you are sensitive to fragrance and it has a nice texture to it. The texture is not heavy at all. It is very light, somewhat liquid-y, and it is quickly absorbed but it still does a great job moisturizing. After application, my skin feels really silky and smooth. I would say that if your skin texture around your eye is not so smooth, this would be a good cream to apply before you put on some make up. I've been using it for about 2 months now but I noticed that my dark circles had pretty much disappeared after two weeks. I have noticed that I don't really even reach for my under eye concealer anymore. It also really helps with puffy eye bags-- if I have a night were I don't get much sleep, I wake up with hardly any eye bags; I also apply it as part of my morning skincare routine and it further diminishes bags. Being twenty four, I can't really comment on how well this product works for wrinkles or fine lines, though I would guess that because this is so moisturizing, it would at least help with the appearance of fine lines when applied. The only thing I do not love about this product is that because it is so liquid-y, it travels a lot (at leastit does on me). I notice that if I apply this eye cream too close to my lower eye lid, it sort of bleeds into my eye and can cause some burning and red eye. The irritation definitely can be bad if my eyes water (such as if I yawn). I just make very certain to apply it about half an inch away from my eye and massage it in very well. Other than the irritation, I would recommend it, especially if you have dark circles or puffiness under the eye.

This probably my favorite drugstore brand shadow-- I've used it for a couple of years now. The texture is very smooth and velvety, almost creamy. A big plus is that the container closes tightly to preserve the texture and keep the product from drying out. It's easy to blend and the color payoff is phenomenal. There is a huge selection of shades form brights to nudes and neutrals, but as far as I have seen, there are not too many options for finish. Pretty much every color I have seen is shimmery, frosty, or metallic so if you aren't a fan of those textures/ finishes, you probably will not be a fan of these. This product is definitely not a 24 hour product-- worn without primer, it does last for 5-6 hours without creasing on me, but it will fade. However, I pretty much always wear my shadows with a primer and with a primer (or even applied wet), this product lasts all day without fading. If you need something very long lasting, you'll need a primer with this.

This is a medium to full coverage foundation with a matte finish. The texture of the foundation is very airy and it takes a bit of time to set so you have a lot of time to blend. It isn't too buildable-- it gets cakey fast. This foundation definitely looks like you're wearing makeup when you apply it, so you will want to skip it for light looks. However, it's perfect for night or special occasions. It will also look nice in pictures because it has no SPF so you won't get a white cast. The stay time is pretty good; there was minimal fading or transferring over the day and no creasing at all. That was pretty much the only good for me, personally. I would say this foundation would be perfect for anyone with very oily skin and has an even-ish skintone. At the moment, I have combination skin and while this foundation looked nice on oily spots, it looked terrible on dry patches. You can make it work by moisturizing and using a primer though. It also isn't very forgiving with large pores. I personally can't wear this make-up without a primer as I have some acne scarring and large pores that are accentuated by this foundation. Another downside for this is that this product does contain talc. I know not everyone is sensitive to talc and if you're not, great! Try this stuff out! But I just thought I'd mention it because if you are like me, cosmetics with talc can oxides pretty badly on you and clog your pores. So if you are senstive to talc, you may want to skip this. While this sounds like a rather negative review, I don't think this is a bad foundation. I think it could work great for some people out there, it just didn't work for me. All in all, I would recommend this to women with oily skin who want higher coverage and who don't have issues with cosmetic talc. It could work nicely on normal skin as well but I would steer clear if you have dry skin.

I decided to try these out because my teeth were starting to look... less than gorgeous. I drink a lot of black coffee and even more tea so my teeth were becoming quite stained. These strips worked quite well. My teeth were noticably whiter after I finished up the box. The taste is not too bad, it's as though you've gargled with hydrogen peroxide. The box warns that you may experience sensitivity with these strips and since I sometimes exoperience sensitivty, I decided to start using a sensitive teeth formula toothpaste about a week before starting the strips and continued to use them throughout treatment and then after treatment. I had no issues with sensitivity doing that. So if you want to try these out but have sensitive teeth, I would say you could still use it, but I recommend using these strips with a toothpaste formulated for sensitivity.

I found this cleanser on sale so I decided to try it out and it worked very well for me. I will start off by saying that this cleanser does have a strong scent. Though I am not sensitive to scented products by any means, I was actually a bit worried it might be drying or make me break out-- that is how strongly scented this is-- but I ended up having no negative effects on that end. The scent fades away from the skin quickly after you have rinsed the product off. It is a pretty scent (clean and kind of floral), but pleasant as it may be, soemtimes I just don't want something so perfume-y. If you are sensitive to fragranced skin care items, this product may be one you will want to skip-- or at least find a sample of before buying a whole bottle. Now, the good: I purchased this during the winter season when I had dry patches on my chin-- and I mean *very* dry, to the point of cracking. I thought this cleanser was worth trying out because even though I sometimes get seasonal dry patches on my chin, the rest of my face (especially my nose and forehead) can get oily, so I still wanted something that would help with oil and not exacerbate the dry spots. This happened to work well for that purpose. It didn't bother the dry patches so they healed up pretty quickly with the use of moisturizers. It is a gentle cleanser-- I use this cleanser twice a day and it does a good job at removing excess oil without stripping away too much oil from the skin. It does not make my skin feel tight or dry the way some oil control cleansers have done to my skin. In fact, this leaves me skin feeling normal. It does a pretty good job at removing makeup as well although, I do use this product along with an oil cleanser when I remove makeup so that may be why it is so effective. I also really like that it is packaged in a pump. All in all, as good as this product is, I plan on looking for something with a less aggressive scent to it instead of going right back for this product.

My main factor in purchasing this product is that it is sulfate free-- my hair and sulfates are not on good terms. It also leaves off lots of other products that can irritate your skin, it's cruelty free, and fair trade. And it's a great product to boot. This is one of my favorite sulfate free shampoos and it is so gentle on my hair. As a side note: If you are trying a sulfate free shampoo for the first time, it probably won't feel as clean as with regular shampoo, but that is your hair adjusting to a gentle shampoo rather than one with harsh cleansing agents (you'll notice less foaming with sulfate free shampoos). Stick with it and you'll fall in love. Any way, this cleans very well without stripping hair of moisture (which makes it a very good shampoo for dyed and otherwise chemically treated hair). It works very well with the leave-in conditioners.

Shea Moisture Organic Anti-Breakage Hair Masque Yucca & Baobab
Anti-Breakage Hair Masque Yucca & Baobab
I decided to try this after I tried the original shea version-- I liked the original, but didn't love it. Still, I wanted to try out other products in this line because I like that this line leaves off lots of ingredients that can irritate skin (sulfates, synthetic dyes/fragrances, etc.), doesn't test on animals, and appears to be fair trade and I'm glad I did. I decided on this formula even though my hair isn't at all fine or thin (my hair is coarse and thick) because my hair is currently bleached and dyed red, so I wanted something to help stave off breakage. This leave in works fantastically; I only need a little bit of product for my weekly leave-in treatment. It is deeply moisturizing so it does seem to lessen the amount of breakage I have and even seems to keep my hair color vibrant for a little longer. It doesn't weigh down my hair at all, which I was a bit worried about when I saw how thick this product is. It leaves my hair soft, shiny, and with less frizz but rinses clean. I find that I don't need as much product with this leave in and I find it to be more moisturizing than the orginal as well.

Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Moisture Recovery Treatment Masque
Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque
This product works very well. It masks hair damage rather effectively, smooths hair, and hydrates very nicely without weighing down your hair. I had used it once a week, leaving it on for about twenty minutes before rinsing it off. The only thing I don't love is that I notice I need to use more of this product than I thought I would. This means that: 1. You are going through product very quickly and 2. You may need to spend extra time rinsing your hair out to get all the product out. Because of that, I ended up not repurchasing-- I now switch off between Nuance's deep conditioning leave-in and Shea Moisture's anti breakage leave in.
