I tried this on at Sephora; thank goodness they had a tester otherwise I would have made a bad purchase. I tried it on my cheeks but the color was not really flattering on my olive toned skin. It looked better on my lips but not any better than other lip stains I have. The staying power is very good though. I think it would look amazing on anyone with fair skin & it is quite easy to blend & build up color. I wasn't a huge fan of the applicator but it does the job. If you have medium or darker skin tone, the original or darker shades would be a better pick.

This works pretty well but it doesn't mend 92% of split ends as the company claims. You can't really "mend" or "heal" split ends; if you want them off you need to chop them off. All this product (and products like this) can do is temporary fuse the ends together to give a smooth look but once it wears off, you'll have your split ends back. This CAN temporarily make your hair appear healthier. I purchased this more for it's smoothing power and on that end, it works perfectly. It smells pretty if you like vanilla quite a bit. It gets an eight because you can use L'Oreal's sulfate free nightly leave-in & get as good results for less.

This foundation feels so smooth & light that it feels like I'm not wearing makeup. It also has very good coverage and is easy to blend so I never look cakey when I put it on. It gives a matte finish and has a medium coverage but it can be built up to a higher coverage (though building it up causes it to lose that no-makeup look). This foundation lasts all day on my oily skin as well-- up to 10 or so hours. I can wear it for about 6 hours before some oil starts to show through but it's fixed with a blotting sheet and no touch ups are required. Most people will be able to use this formula without having to have any touch ups-- especially if used with a primer.

This product made my skin look pretty bad. Starting with the product itself, it went on really heavy but provided inadequate coverage. While the I did manage to find my shade, it didn't really matter because it looked rather chalky once on-- it looked several shades lighter on my skin than it did in the package. I think maybe it wasn't meant for darker skin tones because it looks lovely on my friend who is super pale. Now, about the packaging... it was bad. It isn't convenient to carry around because it's messy, bulky, and awkward. The included brush is mediocre and I ended up throwing it out and using my own brushes. The upside to this product is that you get a lot for the price so if you are pale try this out, if not you'd better skip it.

The HiP shadow line is awesome. I ran across this & since I had already tried the metallic & brights, I figured I'd give these a go. My favorites though are the matte textures. It's hard to find a good drug store matte, but these do actually go on and stay on matte & have the same staying power as the other finishes. These shadows are so rich and pigmented and several shades manage to rival higher end products out there. They are also very easy to blend.

This is a light to medium coverage foundation with a dewy finish. I would recommend this product for someone with drier skin as this will give a pretty, hydrated look as is forgiving on dry patches. If you're looking for a matte finish, this is not the make-up for you. It goes on smoothly, blends easily, and it doesn't feel like you're wearing anything. You can build it up to a medium coverage but any more than that and it can start to look cakey. It's not long wearing at all though. I know I have oily skin and all, but even with a primer and a setting powder this foundation starts to fade away in about 5-6 hours. I think it wouldn't fade away so quickly when applied to dry skin though. Because it is a dewy finish, if you have oily skin you'll find yourself needing your oil blotters to make sure you don't go from looking dewy to oil slick-ish.

This is a very full coverage foundation with a matte finish. It really is perfect for oily skin. As I said, it is a full coverage make up and they are not kidding around with that designation; should you choose to use this foundation, you will need to highlight and contour to bring back dimension to your face. Most people could really just use this product as a concealer. This foundation is quite thick so you hardly need any product at all. I use about half a pump to cover my entire face and don't need any extra products to cover any imperfections. This will hide everything on the first go. Because of the thickness, I made sure to moisturize well before application (even with my oily skin; if you have dry skin it is a MUST). This foundation doesn't feel heavy on but it definitely looks like you have make up on-- not the foundation for anyone who prefers sporting a natural look. I set this foundation with a very light dusting of setting powder and it stays put all day with hardly any oil breakthrough-- only after maybe 5 or 6 hours of wear will I see even a hint of oil breakthrough and even then, it's not enough to blot or powder away. It has no SPF in it so it really stays true to color in pictures-- no ghost face with this. This line offers a pretty wide array of color options in various undertones as well so you are very likely to find the perfect shade for you. Because this foundation is so opaque, getting the right color is very important-- you won't really have room to make it work if it's off. I would recommend asking for help choosing your shade as well as asking for a sample to make sure it's the exact shade you need. The only issues I had with this product are: 1. That non- transfer claim? Yeah, not so much. It gets everywhere without a light dusting of setting powder. 2. It oxides on me. It was very slight though-- it turned maybe one shade darker than it went on. My plan is just to ask for a sample of a lighter shade and seeing how that works. All in all, this is a very nice foundation for nights out, special occasions, and pictures but would probably be a bit much for every day wear for most people.

The product itself isn't bad. As a concealer, it works pretty well. The coverage is pretty decent and it's easy to blend. It can feel cakey if you put too much on, but as I said, it covers well and blends easily so that probably wouldn't be an issue for most people any way. I use it with primer and it lasts throughout the day without changing colors on me-- I didn't notice that it was Maybelline when I picked this up so I was worried that it would oxidize on me as I have had issues with their foundation turning orange on me in the past, but it didn't. Being a 24 year old who looks like a baby, I don't really have any lines, so I can't comment on whether it does a good job covering lines without settling into them. The only things I don't love about the concealer itself is that it isn't as weightless as some other concealers I've tried and up close, the shade I purchased (Toasted?) looks like it has a bit of shimmer-- not a dewy, luminous finish, not a sheen, an out and out shimmer; however, once my makeup is done, it's not really noticable unless you're were to get right up close to my face. If I were rating just the concealer and not the whole product itself, it would get around seven or eight stars out of ten. Alas, I feel like I have to rate it based off the entire package. The sponge applicator...oi vey. I had removed it for sanitary reasons (I am prone to break outs and you can't really clean the sponge tip) but if you haven't removed it for cleanliness reasons yet, you should now because aside from that, it wastes an insane amount of product. I tried it a few times with the sponge and had to turn it about 4-5 clicks to cover under my eyes and one or two acne scars. Now for comparison, once I took off the sponge I use less than one click to cover the same amount of skin. All the product gets sucked up by the sponge. What doesn't get sucked up gets so sheered out by the sponge applicatior that you end up having to layer and build up the concealer which can give you a cakey look. Even without the sponge, the bottle is a pain. When you click to dispense product, it sort of just keeps coming out-- like a bottle of hair mouse or something. It gets sucked up if you leave on the sponge but without, it gets a bit messy. More wasted product. So while I think the concealer itself is decent, I probably wouldn't repurchase because so much product gets wasted by the packaging.

This liner definitely lasts through everything. I've even worn it during a summer beach vacation in Florida and it lasted through all the sand, seawater, sweat, oil, and humidity. I own the blue, lime, and purple shades and the colors are very intense. The only con to this product is that they don't last too long; after a few months (maybe 2 months) , I noticed that the liners became very thick so they did not apply as smoothly as they had when they were new. I ended up having to apply it thickly and then go back in with the brush that I had wiped off to thin and even out the line. I am very careful to tightly close my liners after every use and this is the only brand of liner that I have had this effect with. In any case, I still highly recommend it.

This is one of the best pencil liners I've ever used. I have the green and black shades. The formula is smooth and soft so it glides on yet it doesn't smear, run, or fade throughout the day. It looks as intense as liquid when applied but it can also be smudged out for a softer, smokey look. I was pleaseantly surprised since it was so cheap. I had bought it for a costume look but now use both colors I own regularly.
