This was an impulse buy-- I decided to pick up the cobalt blue shade because it looked so bright and pretty but the color didn't look quite so vivid once I applied it to my lid. The brush is on the smaller side so you can get very nice crisp, precise lines. The formula is very nice as well, it just glides on so smoothly and though it looks slightly metallic in the tube the finish is on the matte side. The lasting power is also very good-- I didn't have issues with it running even on days when I get random runny eyes and this isn't even a waterproof formula. Just be aware that this liner-- at least the cobalt shade-- dries down darker than it appears in the tube.

This pore filler has displaced more former favorite: the L'Oreal studio primer. I decided to try this since I decided to move towards cruelty free products and it's been a fantastic choice. In all honesty, it works just as well any other brand I've tried-- it really smooths out my large pores and it increases my makeup longevity--but where it really takes the cake is the texture. It is miles ahead of any primer I've used before. It is so light and airy that it doesn't even feel like you've any primer on your face. I love the feel of it. Going back to other primers after this felt so... heavy. It also has a slight peachy tone and it seems like it does a smidge of color correcting.

I have this in both the light and medium shades. I initially picked up the medium to use and a waterliner to brighten up my eyes, but it was a bit dark for that so I ended up picking up the light shade and it worked out well for that. It was quite creamy and went smoothly and lasted the day. The light also works nicely for a bit of subtle highlighting down my nose, in the inner corner of the eye, and on the cupids bow. Not wanting to waste my other pencil, I decided to give it a try as a concealer and I love it. It matched my skin perfectly and covers up and dark and red marks. It is quite creamy so it blends very nicely and looks natural. I also like using the medium to clean up around the lip line when I'm wearing bold lip colors. I wouldn't recommend these for very dark girls as the darkest shade available looks closer to tan than dark. I do hope NYX expands the color range on these. Oh, I would also recommend having separate pencils for eyes, face, and lips or at least sharpening your pencils between moving between the three for hygenic reasons.

This has been one of the best brow products I've ever used. I have very sparse brows (the hairs are very thin and I don't have many of them) and one of my brows has always had a bald spot, so I tend to have to do a lot to get my brows looking even. For the slightly bald one, I obviously have to add lots of product and with most brow pens/ powders, it just looks so "done"; not a look I tend to go for. I really like this prodcut because the marker tip is so fine that I can actually do very fine strokes that look like actual hair. The ink is not completely opaque so you can build up your strokes and get very realistic results. This is also a plus if you are heavy handed as you have some wiggle room with your application. I have naturally black brows and the darkest shade works without being too dark. I pretty much just fill in the sparser areas and it looks more like nice, natural brows than makeup. I do think it is a bit on the red side, so I take away a star for that (cooler toned colors work better for most brows). This marker is very long-lasting. I once forgot to remove my makeup before working out and this stuff did not budge at all and it's one of the only products I have used that lasts from the start of the day to the end. One more point: Make sure that your brows are completely clean and void of makeup before applying because getting ANY makeup one the felt tip at all will gunk it up and restrict the flow of ink so you'll have to wipe it down.

These pencils have become a staple for me! I love bright colors and have a medium skin tone so my lids need to be paled out to make colors really pop and the shade Milk does the trick. I even use it with nude colors to have truer color. I just smear a little on my lids, smudge it out, and apply any shadow over it to get the brightest, truest color payoff. It really grabs and holds shadow and shimmer so well. I also like using other colors for bases to kind of custom colors. I haven't ever used it as just a shadow stick, so I can't speak to it's staying power in that respect, but I don't notice creasing when used as a base whether I use an eyeshadow primer or not (and I have oily lids). The shadow itself is very creamy so it doesn't tug at your lids and it blends out gorgeously. And of course, there is the fabulous price tag-- you can get tons of colors and have tons of colored bases for your shadows without spending lots of cash.

I recieved a deluxe sample of the Ole Henriksen trio which came with a seven day supply of the day serum, moisturizer, and night serum and I was blown away. Usually, taking up a new skincare routine takes about two months before you see any noticable results but I noticed changes before I was even halfway through my sample set-- and I already had a good skincare routine going. My skin felt smoother than it ever had and my clogged pores looked a bit better too. I ended up just buying the whole full set and I never had issues with breakouts. The moisturizer is very light yet effective and it sinks into your skin very quickly. While I notice that my nose feels a bit oily after five hours of wear, I only notice it when I'm without makeup-- it sits nicely under makeup and no oil breaks through my makeup. What I do not like about this product is the jar packaging-- everytime you open the package, you are letting in oxygen which degrades the efficacy of the product's ingredients. I like it enough that I just empty it out into an airless pump container though.

About my skin: I have combination skin-- oily on my nose and forehead, normal on my cheeks and chin (though I do get an occasional dry spot on my chin, depending on the season). I also have minor dark spots from old acne scars. Firstly, if you are looking for a scar/spot fader, I would look into something else. I used it for over the recommended eight weeks and saw no fading of scars. The formula itself has ingredients to help fade scars, but I suspect the jar packaging may be causing a breakdown in the efficacy of this cream's ingredients. In any case, I was not too worried about spot fading. I was looking for a day moisturizer and this worked decently in that aspect. It was moisturizing enough for my oily to normal spots without causing my to get greasy or oily over the day and my makeup sat nicely on it, but it didn't do anything for my occasional dry spots. Since I rarely have to deal with dryness, this did not concern me. It also says you can use it as a night cream but I really only found it to be a good daytime product-- even with my oily skin, I did not find it moisturizing enough for a nighttime product. This product is very strongly scented, so if you are sensitive to scents, I recommend finding another product to try. My least favorite aspect though, has to be application. It's strange because while the cream isn't heavy and spreads easily, it takes such a long time to "sink in". At first application, the product felt a little sticky and filmy (I even felt a need to wash my hands after application) but after about ten minutes of wear, my skin would feel normal. If you wanted to try it, I would suggest finding a cheap airless pump and transfering the product as it might keep the product from breaking down.

This lipstick is definitely worth the purchase! It goes on very smooth and the colors show up pretty well. It's quite creamy but not very thick, meaning it won't last you the whole day without the help of a lip liner but it's a fair trade for something that doesn't feel super thick and caked on. There are tons of shades to choose from which is quite nice to see. The only reason I give it a nine instead of a ten is that it has a bit of an odor to it that I find unpleasant but either it goes away after some time or else you just get used to it I suppose.

I don't have any lines around my eye area right now so I can't say much about it's anti-aging efficacy, but I got a sample of it when I purchased the Naked3 palette so I decided to use it. I found it to be as effective as the original formula-- your eyeshadow will stay on and look vibrant.

I had heard a lot of rave reviews on this product so I decided I'd give it try and take advatage of Sephora's generous return policy if it didn't live up to the hype. However, after 2 weeks of use, it's a new staple in my make-up routine. I currently live in the south and it get's nasty humid during summer down here. Even with setting powders and primers, my foundations tend to succumb to my oily skin and humidity during the summer, but not with this. I gave it it's first test going to an outdoor event during a hot, humid day. After spending hours out, I came home to find that my makeup look practicaly the same as it did when I applied it. I had very minimal shine on my nose, but it wasn't even worth blotting. The rest of my face stayed matte. I have since started using it with Urban Decay's loose setting powder and my make-up doesn't budge. With setting powder, it takes about eight hours (sometimes more) before I get any oil breakthrough. And even though it keeps me matte, I notice that it doesn't dry out my skin at all.
