I bought this in Radiant at my local store; it was marked down and the display was almost empty. I am hoping it is not discontinued!! I just love this product. I recently purchased the Revlon version and wanted to compare the two. (Revlon review to come!) I love the subtle luminosity with this product; it is an absolute keeper and something that I will want to add to my makeup routine for-ever! It brightens up my eye area, and can be used as a highlighter above the cupid's bow, down the bridge of the nose, under the eyes and between the brows. It is not glittery at all or overly shimmery in the least. As long as Maybelline is making, I will continue to buy!

I bought this quad with a gift certificate I received for the holidays! I was super excited to get this quad; I don't buy a lot from VS, and this one was on sale. The colors are absolutely gorgeous; There is a cool purple, a pale pink highlighter, a deep plum, and a gunmetal deep gray color. The finished product looks amazing; however, I had to give it a 7 due to the blending of the product. It was really difficult. There is a lot of "flakiness" that drops onto the skin, so be sure to do your eye makeup first or apply tape or white powder to the under eye area. Blending is also not easy with these shadows; the gray color smeared and smudged too easily (and not in the good way!), but at the same time, was hard to blend with the other colors. In addition, the pigmentation was a bit lacking in 2 of the 4 shadows. I am going to keep the quad as this is a perfect "date night" quad, but if I bought this for everyday use, I would be disappointed.

I haven't had much luck with Tresemme products in the past, but I saw this on the shelf and I LOVE trying new products, so thought for $5 what could I lose? I have tried both high end and drugstore brand hair masks and still have yet to find one that I can be "loyal" to but this one might be it. Sure, they work and do their thang, but again, nothing to write home about. Apparently this Renewal line is infused with tea tree oil, but why or what benefit it has in a conditioner or hair mask I am not sure. I left it on my head for 45 minutes to an hour, and my hair was soft and manageable. The biggest plus for me is that it detangled my long hair better than most masks I have used! The smell is pleasant. It isn't as thick as I would like; I felt that I had to use a lot of product for my long, thick hair. The tube will probably last me 5-6 treatments. I will finish the tube and will probably buy again; well, until the next "best" thing comes out! :)

My mom bought this mask for me from Avon so I thought I would give it a try! It's kind of strange that it is black; it dries to a gray in about 15-20 minutes. There is no kaolin (mud) in this mask to draw out impurities and there is not enough salicyclic acid (.05%) to make any difference at all with acne or blackhead prone skin. Typically, you will need at LEAST 1% (for more sensitive skin) if not 2%. After I rinsed the mask off, my skin looked clean, but it felt tight and I didn't notice any difference in my pores or blackheads. I won't be re-purchasing.

TB requested I put my review under the "standard" liquid eyeliner, so here it goes! :) I LOVE ELF. I love trying new products and not having it break the bank at the same time! I was recently watching a New Year's Eve makeup tutorial with a glitter liquid eyeliner and it was awesome! So pretty. She used a high end liquid eyeliner, so I thought I would buy this and see if I could achieve the same thing. So, not to say that there isn't a drugstore glitter liquid liner that WOULD work, but this one didn't. There was more "liquid" than "glitter" and as a result, during the application, there wasn't a smooth line of glitter so I had to reapply over the line several times. If it is for a one time event, it wouldn't be bad; similar to an eyeliner that you have to "press" and "drag;" annoying but doable. But if you were to wear this often, I wouldn't recommend.

I was using a Alba cleanser that seemed okay, until I did a bit of research in skincare ingredients and I decided to switch to a cleanser that was a better fit for my skin. I have combo/oily skin and am prone to blackheads, but am also sensitive. It has been a challenge finding a cleanser that isn't TOO sensitive (meaning that it won't clean my skin or the oil enough) or just too stripping. I bought this one at my local store; the version I bought is in a tube but also available in this pump. I used to use the tube for oily/combo skin until I realized there were a few irritants in that formula, so I switched to this one. The formula is different - not as creamy as the oily/combo version but more of a "soapy" texture even though it is "soap-free." It foams up really well and has no dyes or fragrances, which is very nice. It also rinses very clean (water-soluble) and left my skin looking very clean. The only reason I did not give it a 10, and the only reason I may still continue to look, is that it did leave my skin feeling a bit tight. After being cleansed, my skin should feel comfortable, even before the moisturizer is applied. I will continue to use and see how it goes; I did try rinsing for quite awhile and it didn't seem to make a difference. I wouldn't recommend this for dryer skin types, but so far it isn't bad at all. I am impressed at how clean my skin is afterwards.

My skin has either really changed over the years, or I am just becoming more knowledgeable about skincare. I have oily/combination skin, depending on the season, and seborrheic dermatitis which also makes my skin more sensitive. It has been a battle finding the right combination of products to control the oil and blackheads, but not irritate my skin. This product definitely didn't help! According to the directions, it is best used in the morning so I would add it to me moisturizer/sunscreen and it would just burn my skin. Stupid me, I didn't realize this was a "problem" until I started learning more about skin irritants; that is a whole other topic in itself! :) I just thought if it tingled or burned a smidge, it was "working." Uh, NO! If your skin is sensitive, I would opt for another product. However, if it is not, it may be worth it to add. I did notice SLIGHT brightening effect in the 6 short weeks I used it. I would say that a serum would be more convenient; this powder comes with a teeny spoon to retrieve the powder and it can be a big mess, resulting in lost product. However, it is convenient that you can pretty much mix it with any product. I am going to try KIMINSC's suggestion of using a crushed vitamin c pill and see if that is as bothersome. All in all, I would skip this product and try something else.

I read some reviews online about how this was such a great water soluble, gentle cleanser but I found it to be irritating on my oily/combo but sensitive skin. I was a bit surprised as the microscrubbers (which according to the ingredients, appear to be plastic particles ehhhhh) are more finely milled than most cleansers; however, it just didn't work for me.

I'm really liking some of these NYX producys! I prefer retractable anytime I can get it, and they have a great color selection. One of the colors I bought was Vanilla Sky which is a pinky frost, and it almost seemed a little chalky but the others have been great.

This product is a little misleading. On the package, it specifies a "2" out of 5 for how much hold the product has, but then it describes the product as "strong." To me, a strong would be a "4" or "5." So when I bought it, I wasn't sure how much hold it actually would have. I have long, thick hair and am probably not the first person that they would target for this product; I imagine it would be best for short to medium hairstyles or pixie cuts for that edgy, piecey look. However, I purchased it after trying a surf paste by another brand (review to come) to try and scrunch my beachy waves from the first product. I really didn't like the texture; it is definitely a strong hold, almost like glue. I thought it would make some of the curls more defined and piecey but the product was very heavy and just tacky feeling; it was difficult to work with and even the smallest amount of product made my hair feel dirty and weighed down. I'm still going to give the product a 4 because again, it's probably best for shorter styles, but I would pass on this product. I'll be using my surf paste to scrunch instead.
