I live with dry hands day in and day out, because where I live just happens to be in a dry, hot, windy desert. I've tried shea butter hand creams, but I didn't like those because they left my hands too greasy for my liking, and other hand creams didn't provide enough moisture. It became really annoying to have itchy, scaly, painful hands all of the time. But for Christmas, my friend gave me a tube of this Crabtree and Evelyn Iris Ultra-Moisturizing Hand Therapy cream, and after I tried it I thought, "Holy cow, this is perfect!" The only complaint of mine is that the first time I opened the tube, a huge glob of product came rushing out. But after storing it upside down for a day, that problem was fixed. This hand cream not only smells absolutely heavenly (all of Crabtree and Evelyn's hand creams do, some of the others I've tried are Lily and Lavender, and they smell like bliss as well), but it is also very long lasting and non-greasy! I squeeze out a pea-sized amount onto my palms and feel the smooth, comforting cream moisturize my hands, and it lasts for about four hours, which is more than I can say for the other creams I have tried. While this cream is incredibly long-lasting, it is not greasy at all. It is lightweight, after you smooth it on, and it sinks into your hands and it feels kind of having a silkier, more moisturized version of your hands. However, it won't make turning a doorknob, typing on the computer, or playing piano inconvenient. In fact, I barely notice it, but I do notice the heavenly scent (which gets more subtle as time passes), and the way my hands feel so much better. Overall, this is pretty much a perfect hand cream, and I will continue to purchase it.

I don't quite understand why this product has such a negative review from so many people, but maybe it's because everyone's needs and desires are different. This worked perfectly as my natural, everyday mascara. I love the packaging that really seals the air out of the mascara, that it's easy to open, and I absolutely love the brush. Sometimes plastic brushes can be really painful if I bump it against my eyelid accidentally, but this brush feels almost rubber. It has lots of short, rather stubby bristles that really reach into the roots, onto every lash, and coats the lashes well and evenly. The formula itself is on the wetter side, and even though I have the one that is supposed to be blue (to accentuate blue eyes), it looks very black. I was confused initially and disappointed, but later I was sitting in the sunlight with a few friends having lunch, and they kept remarking on the subtle, blue-ish, eye-intensifying tint of my mascara. So it's really subtle, and you can't really see it, but it's definitely there. The formula did not clump at all, and intensified the colors of my lashes. There was some volume and a bit of length, but nothing dramatic. It looked like a more defined, still natural-looking version of my normal lashes. The reason I took off two stars is because the mascara cannot hold a curl, which is really important for my stick-straight lashes. However, this mascara makes up for not holding a curl with absolutely NO smudging whatsoever. Even my waterproof mascaras smudge. However, this does not budge. My under eye area looks just as perfect at 7 o'clock as it did in the morning, no raccoon eyes here! A total win. Overall, I would buy this again, because this is a great daytime, natural-looking mascara that is the only one that does not smudge on me!

I've always heard good things about Rimmel, but I find it odd why this was the first product I decided to try. I guess maybe I was drawn in by my need for makeup remover, the low price tag, and the simple packaging? Anyways, I've been using this for almost six months now, so I figured that it was time to review. I think that the price point is fantastic and the flip-top packaging is sturdy ($3 or something around that), but those are the only things I was impressed by. This makeup remover eventually does what it says, but it takes a lot of effort and product for me to get my makeup off, especially my waterproof mascara. After I use this, I wash my face, and after I wash my face I have raccoon eyes because not all of my mascara got taken off. Also, this makeup remover is supposed to be gentle on the eyes. It's nice that it has no fragrance, but honestly I still felt some stinging and saw redness after using this. From reading the label, it can understand. There's a very large amount of isopropyl alcohol and methylisothiazolinone, which can irritate sensitive eyes, such as mine. Overall, after I finish the bottle (or I might end up giving it away), I won't be repurchasing. Even though they're a bit more expensive, I'll probably stick with my trusty old Maybelline Flash Clean makeup remover, or the Neutrogena remover wipes. However, I won't be dissuaded from trying other Rimmel products!

This was my very first liquid eyeliner, and I'm pretty sure that even though I've tried others, this will be my last. This is excellent! Not only is it affordable at $7.99 and easy to find at almost any drugstore, it is of excellent, uncompromising quality. The packaging is very sturdy and well-sealed. This is not an eyeliner pen that will dry out or fall apart on me. Also, the formula lasts a long time. I've been using the same pen for about three years now, which sounds crazy, but it's totally true! While the formula doesn't dry out, it doesn't mean the color is watery. The color is intense (very black on the package really means black), long-lasting, and shows up to be very vibrant. This eyeliner also doesn't run, smudge, crease, fade, or budge after I apply it. It comes off easily with water, though, so taking it off is a breeze. I'm taking off one star because the felt tip can feel a bit scratchy occasionally, but that's not a huge deal, especially considering that this eye pen is extremely easy to use. It helped me get over my fear of liquid eyeliner when I first started because it was so easy to use, but now that I'm more experienced, it also allows me to do everything from a super thin line to a dramatic cat eye. Overall, I will definitely be buying this over and over again because it has such excellent quality, is affordable, and is so versatile.

It's hard to find toners out there that are suitable for my dry, sensitive skin, especially since most have alcohol in them, and the ones that don't have no effect on my skin or are still irritating. However, H2O+ totally hit the nail on the head with their Oasis Mist. I got it for $4.99 for 5 ounces on sale, which is very affordable, and I spray it three times on my face after cleansing my skin, and then I rub it in with my fingertips. I am very impressed. Not only does it act as a refreshing toner (especially if I put it in the refrigerator), I like that it has so many benefits from the marine extracts, vitamins, and soothing aloe that improve and hydrate my dry, sensitive skin. In fact, after having a rosacea flare up (due to the dry winter weather and using what ended up as a harsh toner), this calmed my skin, got rid of the flaking, and made my skin radiant again. I don't think there's any fragrance in this because I don't smell anything, so that's one less chemical I expose my skin to. Overall, a great product that I will definitely be repurchasing when I use it up.

Coach's Poppy Flower has to be one of my absolute favorite perfumes. While I get that everyone is different and this perfume may not be for everyone, I adore this and made it my signature scent. Poppy Flower is very light, airy, and conveys a feeling of happiness, innocence, youthful flirtiness, and chic sophistication. Kind of like the bottle, in my opinion. Even though it's floral and a tad citrusy, it's very fresh and even aquatic, which makes it great for summer. It opens with lychee, citrus, black currant, and ivy notes that last for maybe around fifteen minutes, dries down to jasmine, water lily, peony, raspberry, and rose notes that are detectable for about two hours, and finally finishes smoothly with apricot, amber, sandalwood, and musk notes that will last the rest of the day (or night). Poppy Flower is never cloying or overstays its welcome, but it lasts a decent amount of time (about ten hours for me and I have dry skin that I put Aveeno lotion on). Whenever I wear this, people close to me (within two feet or so) always tell me I smell really good, and keep commenting on how great I smell through the night. Overall, I am delighted with this perfume. I think the price for the value and quantity is reasonable, and if you can find it on sale like I did (about $36 for a little less than 2 ounces), then it's even better. Again, I get that this scent may not be for everyone, but personally, I find it appealing to most people and to myself.

I got this as part of a gift set ($36 on sale for the full-sized perfume and a makeup bag), and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I'm not a huge fan of Taylor Swift, and when I smelled her first purple perfume, Wonderstruck, I was less than impressed. When I first sniffed the nozzle on this, I was not impressed either. It smelled like any floral and musk perfume that teenage girls overspray and use on a daily basis, so I shoved this in the back of my closet, where it stayed there for about a month. But just now, I got curious (and was bored), so I took it out, and sprayed it on. And wow, was I wrong. Instead of the cloyingness and genericness that I first thought it would have, Wonderstruck Enchanted was surprisingly delightful. It opens with wild berries (red berries), poppy floral notes, and some fruitiness from the passionfruit note. They mix very well into this sweet, innocent, yet fresh blend. It reminds me of a young, mysteriously flirty girl, beautiful without trying, and wide-eyed with innocence, having a carefree day, maybe experiencing her first crush. But not in a tacky way. Then, it dries down to a more subtle, sophisticated floral scent with freesia, peony, and sugar, and finally finishes with base notes comprised of light white musk, vanilla, and woody notes, which is warm, familiar, comforting, and slightly romantic. I can see myself using this perfume during the fall and winter, and maybe even on warm summer evenings on dates. Besides the great scent, the bottle is pretty and mysterious, and I like that it's dark, which will protect it from light more than a clear bottle. It's something I wouldn't mind showing off on a vanity. Overall, I was pleasantly delighted with Wonderstruck Enchanted, even though my expectations were very low for it, and my initial opinion even lower. I think for someone to like this perfume, they have to actually try it on their skin, because it smells bad when sniffed from the bottle.

I had my doubts about this. I wasn't particularly impressed with The Body Shop in the past, and $10 for one ounce seemed pretty overpriced. But I had a half-off coupon in my hand, cash burning a hole in my pocket, and drier than tumbleweeds hands, so I went ahead and purchased this little green tube. And honestly, I am glad I have. I admit I still think it's overpriced, and the packaging is pretty bad, especially with how easily it dents, and how much excess product comes rushing out if I'm not careful. However, the product itself is pretty close to perfect. The smell is very earthy, like a forest after the rain. It's perfectly subtle, light, and suitable and pleasing to both men and women (and cats, I have observed). It's a tad bitter, so that might be off-putting to some people, but it's barely noticeable. The hand cream is very rich, thick, and moisturizing. The moisture lasts all day, unlike some creams that feel like they were never there after one hand washing. However, this cream isn't greasy. It feels light on my hands, spreads easily, and makes my skin smooth, silky, hydrated, and radiant. It doesn't sink in instantly, it will probably linger for about half and hour. But it's not greasy, like you can still type and do stuff, you'll just notice that it's there. Overall, I really like this hand cream because it's pretty darn close to perfect for my dry skin, disregarding the shoddy packaging. However, it is a little expensive, so I think I'll wait for a coupon, sale, discount, or promotion before I buy it again.

If I ever become president of the world or something like that, I think I'll make a holiday in honor of this product! Haha, not really, but it is pretty amazing. I have combination skin that turns to sandpaper in the Sahara Desert in the winter, so after reading some raving reviews online, I went to the nearest beauty store and picked this up for $8.99. And honestly I can say that this is the best $8.99 I've ever spent on a beauty product. Not only is it affordable ($8.99 for a little less than one ounce), it does the best job of moisturizing my crazy dry skin that I've ever seen, and I have tried expensive argan oil brands from Sephora, high-end creams, and unaffordable serums. Boots Botanics Facial Oil contains many extracts, oils, and features rose hip oil, all of which are beneficial for skin health. The fact that this facial oil is organic is a big healthy plus as well. The product comes in a frosted glass bottle with a glass dropper, which is sturdy and feels expensive and luxurious. When I first use this facial oil, there is a light, lemony and earthy scent, which is nice, but goes away after a while. Two tiny drops is enough to cover my entire face. After smoothing it on my face, the oil sinks in quickly, but my skin feels so smooth, even, hydrated, and young. Also, it got rid of my flakes, and gave me this dewy, radiant glow that lasted overnight and through the day that wasn't greasy! Where other moisturizers and serums have failed, this facial oil succeeds. Most have moisture that either disappears minutes later, or only lasts four hours at the most. However, this lasted for the entire day! I feel I should also mention that my skin is very sensitive. It's very easily bothered, and I have had so many allergic reactions with bumps, redness, peeling, burning, swelling, and even bleeding. But this facial oil did not do any of that! In fact, it got rid of some of the redness and uneven texture and flaking from my last reaction. I also have minor acne in my T-zone, and this did not provoke it at all. I cannot praise this product enough. Everything about it- the performance, the price, the packaging- is perfect in my opinion. I will continue to purchase this, and I hope it is never discontinued!

Garnier Fructis Hydra Recharge Moisture Whip Leave In Conditioner
A Lightweight Formula with a Big Difference
When I saw this finally reach the shelves of my local drugstore, I instantly snatched it up, afraid that it would disappear. I had been dying to try this for the longest time because not only do I love Garnier and Fructis, but I have the driest, thirstiest, frizziest, most static hair out of all of my friends and family. I am so glad I got this because I am quite fond of it! This really upholds Garnier and Fructis' excellent reputation. For the price, amount I get, and the performance, this really is one of my favorite leave-in treatments. First of all, the whip dispenser gives just the right amount of product, which is perfectly lightweight, easy to work through damp hair, and doesn't weight my hair down, grease it up, or make it sticky. Plus, my hands don't get sticky either, which is convenient. After I use this leave-in treatment, I notice a difference in my hair. Not only does my hair feel more moisturized, but my frizziness levels go down and it's a lot easier to style my hair, which is huge plus in simplicity and time-saving. I especially like to use this in the summer, when the humidity makes my hair a living mess, and in the winter, when my hair gets about as static as a hundred balloons being dragged across carpet. Also, did I mention how amazing this smells? Of course it's not surprising to me because all Garnier products smell amazing, but this is such a fruity, fresh, fun scent! It's too bad it doesn't last. Overall, I would definitely repurchase, and recommend!
