I usually use body butter or body lotion. But I like to use baby oil after swimming (or sun tanning) to replenish skin. I find that baby oil gel is more ideal to bring to a gym because I hate slippery messy bottles of regular baby oil. My choice of Johnson's baby oil gel is the one with the green cap, the aloe version, which has a very light pleasant scent. I apply it to my still-damp-after-shower skin and pat myself dry lightly. It is easier to control the amount I need since the gel is obviously thicker than a traditional body oil. Since it is a bit heavy and rich for everyday use, I don't use it on my non-swimming days. After swimming my skin becomes quite dry, and this gel keeps my skin from drying out. And it is very affordable!

I appreciate that these blotting films come without powder or fragrance. I can see this thin film soaking up excess oil from my skin, and my foundation stays better. Unlike a sheet of tissue paper, it does not mess up my makeup. Yeah, unfortunately, it is a little bit pricey, but I like this one better than similar products by Clean & Clear.

This single-use mask is another way to pamper your face, temporarily. Each mask is pre-soaked in moisturizer/toner. While I am relaxed in bubble bath, I use one. It does not give me any permanent result, but I feel my face well moisturized for a while after using this. Japanese brands (e.g. Shiseido) that I tried are even more hydrating and soothing, and their masks fits better for my facial shape, but they are very expensive, wait, I say too expensive. Considering the price I paid, this Sephora's mask at least feels nice on my face (and my wallet ;)).

Nutmeg is my second Burt's Bee Lip Shimmer color, and this warm color is a mixture of orange and pink, with a hint of pretty bronze. I like their smooth formula. It is a bit lighter than I remembered so I have to re-apply after drinking. The color is very shimmer and subtle. When I have chapped and dried lips, I use medicated/more concentrated lip balm But for a little pick-me-up before going to casual places, I love Burt's Bees tinted shimmer lip balm (and Nivea's). I cannot wait to try another color when this stick is done.

My mom gave me an Origin ginger collection for my b-day. I love this scrub the best among their other ginger products. What a treat! The scrub is not harsh, and effectively removes dead flaky skin. I feel my body is polished, and my elbows and heels especially feel smooth after exfoliating with this. Highly recommended.

I have been using Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer and bareMinerals Prime Time, but I wanted to try this for myself to see if the buzz surrounding this primer is worth it. I purchased their "To Go" size. The first thing I noticed was this is colorless, while Laura Mercier is white. The texture is thicker. When I squeeze, a blob comes out. What I like about this primer is that it doe make a smooth and velvety surface. My mineral powder foundation goes on better. Okay, I also must admit, this Smashbox primer gives more matte finish. Unfortunately, it seems to clog my pores, and that's no-no for me since I have acne prone skin. Also, I cannot say that my foundation stays longer. Overall, I like the texture and the results of Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer and bareMinerals Prime Time better.

I have tried several different Sally Hansen topcoats, but this one dries quicker. As always, I put a top coat over the dried nail polish. It really gives my nails shine and gloss, and make them extra hard. This is obviously more expensive (I paid about $10 for a bottle) than Sally Hansen's topcoats, but when I use Good to Go, the polish lasts much longer.

Glass 01 looks like hair gel, but it feels more like thick serum. It definitely adds my hair shine, but thankfully not grease. After I towel-dry my hair, I use a few drops of this product on the lengths and ends only. If I use too much, my hair looks/feels oily and also it would wear my hair down a bit. It is less stickier than John Frieda Leave On Perfecting Glosser. This stuff is clearly more expensive than drugstore brands, but at least this bottle lasts for a long time! It does not repair my damaged hair (of course not! ;)), but it sure does make my hair look more straighten, relaxed and very shiny!

This lip plumper is tinted in pink. It gives my lips the stickiness and tingyness at the same time. It is not unbearable, but it is a very weird feeling to me. Once it dried, I noticed some white stuff. I thought I may have used too much, but even when I used less, I saw some particles. It gave nice shine, but I did not see any plumping.

I got the Tempest Blue smoky shadowblast. I like the concept, the soft and creamy texture, and the price. The dual ended stick is very convenient. Now the negative parts. It was not easy to blend together without rubbing the shadow off completely. The two shades are very similar to each other, therefore, instead of smoky look, my eyes look like I have only one color eye shadow. Additionally, the color does not stay long at all. I still think this idea is good, the product needs more adjustments and even a complete change in its formula. I may try another one which comes with two different shades, not two similar shades in one stick, but having read many reviews here, it has to be on sale!
