I don't want to judge a whole line by trying one color, but I really do not like their "Midnight Cowboy Rides Again" shade at all. I have never had a chance to use another UD eyeshadow, but this is perhaps one of the worst eye shadows I've ever used. Way too glitterly, but no color. The worst part for me was the glitter did not stay. It was all over my face and on my lashes, and one time a few sparkles got in my eyes. I tried to use it with a primer, but still I could not control it. I could imagine this would be very popular during the disco era, or today's fashionable people at a club/party. But I think I am too old to wear this. Well, it's not called "Midnight" for nothing. What was I thinking...I like the package though...

It comes in a tube and not a large tub or bottle. But the cream is is thick and very concentrated like my another favorite hand cream, Neutrogena Norwegian Formula. While the Neutrogena one is awesome against winter cranked and chapped skin, this shea butter hand cream is spread and absorb slightly better. I have been using L'Occitane Shea Butter collection from body lotion to lip balm stick, I don't mind the smell of this product at all. I must say, compared to many other "thinner" hand cream/lotion, this cream is not too absorbing. But I just rub my hands a few times to make sure all the cream . I feel my hands are protected from cold wind. Yes, I agree this is expensive for hand cream, but I do like the way it makes my hands feel, and the small tube is ideal to take everywhere I go.

I have a few bottles of Essie, I usually don't choose pink nail color, but I was fascinated by this name, Splash of Grenadine. The color is not girly pink, it's more like creamy pink blended with purple/lavender color. It applies and streaks smoothly, and I use two coats. One coat of Essie is a bit too sheer for me. After the two coats, the color is pretty, slightly shimmery and subtle but definitely noticeable. I think the color looks even better on my toes. BTW, when I applied 3 coats of Essie, some polishes peeled off. But so far I have not experienced any chipping. I used to buy OPI more often, but now OPI is getting more pricey. While I like MAC's bold/loud colors, Essie has a nicer selection of sheer and pastel colors.

Just like their candle line, there are so many different scents - fruity, clean, seasonal, floral etc. I tried 4 different variations so far, and except Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin (it was too sweet) I liked others. So where do I use this spray? As much as I love scented candles, I use these sprays for bathrooms and around our kitchen because I think they are safer than lighting candles. I think a reed diffuser is prettier and more decorative, but spray works better and faster for our household to eliminate short-term unwanted smell. It is true that this room spray is concentrated, and a little goes a long way. I saw that Slatkin & Co. also sells Odor Eliminating collection, but I prefer the design of this regular room spray. There are some scents always on sale at BBW.

I find this perfume overwhelmingly strong in the beginning, then the fragrance fades away fairly quick. There are no middle notes or depth. Therefore, it is difficult for me to adjust how much I should use. When I used around my neck, it was way too much. But when I put it only behind my ears, it was not enough. I think Magnifique is too musky for a women's perfume. Not flattering. When I sampled, I thought this scent would grow on me. But it never did.

I had a #935 Lolishine Reflects, which had a mixture of nude and light pink color. It was soft and smooth, but it was very sheer and shimmer. The color was very pretty, but I needed to re-apply every time I drank or ate. I love all the Shu Uemura's clear packages, but I wish the lipstick was a bit taller. It was a nice shimmering lipstick, but I thought it was a bit expensive for a lightly colored non-long wearing lipstick.

I gave my husband The Body Shop Men's essentials travel kit a while back. This shave cream is the only item he apparently re-purchased a full size. My husband has dry skin, and as he ages, his skin gets drier and drier. Shaving cream cans were used to be okay for him, but they dried out and sometimes irritated his skin. He tried Clinique Cream Shave too and told me that he liked it too, but he seems to stick with Body Shop's shave cream for now, which is a few dollars cheaper anyway. It has the thick and creamy texture, and it is very moisturizing. He also likes this item because it allows razor to glide smoothly. Although shaving cream cans are much cheaper, he said he cannot go back anymore. I like this shave cream because it comes in a plastic tub, and there is no more rust stains!!

I got Almost Lipstick in Black Honey as one of the Gift with Purchase items a few years ago. It looked too dark in the tube, but when I applied it, it gave my lips a nice red/brown berry colour, which may be too subtle for some people. My lips felt smooth (but not shine) and I liked the natural looks which fit to my skin tone. Unfortunately, they wear off way too fast.

I use a razor to shave my legs, but for my arms I use hair remover lotion or wax because I don't like razor shaving stubble on my arms. And when I am on budget, I usually buy this Nair's hair remover. Yes, the best part of this product is the price! I usually pay only $5+ for a big 9oz bottle. The directions suggest to leave the lotion on for about 3 min, but I usually keep for 4-5 min for my hair. The worst part - this stuff smells really really bad. At least, it passes my most important test - it removes my hair (both thick and thin). After wiping off the lotion, my skin sometimes get itchy and irritated. Thus, I will never ever use this one on sensitive parts of my body like bikini area. Also, it takes some time to rinse off the slimy stuff completely. Despite containing baby oil, a follow-up with a good body oil/lotion/butter is a must for me. Shaving is definitely faster to get rid of unwanted body hair. Even though this hair removing lotion is certainly not at all flawless, I have been using this one for years due to the good price. But as soon as I find a better product, I am ready to dump this one.

I have tried only one of their collection, and I like the scent of the one that I picked - refreshing and citrusy Hawaiian ginger. It is not very moisturizing. Although it does not dry out my skin either, I have to follow up with a body lotion/oil. Unfortunately, the bubbles don't actually last very long, and I suspect there is a little more water in the bottle than in some of other bubble bath brands. But for the price I paid, I can accept it. BTW, kids will love the bubble bath with this product too!
