I bought this Red Door like 12 years ago at a closeout store. It was musky and very overpowering, and it smelled like a bad 80s hair spray. I could not wear this to anywhere because I was afraid of offending people with my perfume. Actually, even on myself, this scent made me a little nauseous. A bad thing (it could be good if I liked the scent) was that it was very long lasting. I did not use it much. I usually keep perfume bottles whether I like their scent or not, but this one, I remember I threw away because the design was not elegant and looked cheap with a plastic top.

The scents change with the seasons but I can also rely on their signature scents!
I own different scents of these candles including limited holiday collection. Most of Slatkin's candles last pretty long. What I like the most about this candle is that each comes with a lid. It is easier to gift wrap, and also it seals its scent when I don't use it. Whenever I see them on sale at BBW's periodic specials and semi-annual sale, I always stock up different ones.

I've been using Dove, Secret and Degree deodorants for years, but I am ready to switch to natural deodorants and antiperspirants....if they work! Natural deodorants are more expensive than regular conventional drugstore brands, but that was expected. But since my knowledge and experience with natural deodorants are limited, I decided to start from the relatively low price ones. Although it goes on smoothly, this Kiss My Face Active Enzyme Stick does not keep me dry, but also it leaves a little sticky feeling. I am all about going natural, but not this one.

My problem with this scrub was not about their inability to clear or reduce my blackheads, but about my skin feeling not very clean after exfoliating with this. It smelled clean, their blue microbeads were gentle, it did not dry out my skin, but it left some waxy residue on my skin. If it was not for residue, I would have continued using it as a daily scrub, but I was afraid that this was going to clog my pores so I did not finish a whole tube.

I got an Origin Ginger box set as a birthday gift last year from my mom. I knew I was going to love the Body Scrub and the Body Cream, but I was a bit suspicious about the ginger scented perfume first. The set includes a 0.5 oz mini bottle, and has a fresher and zesty ginger scent than the scent of body scrub and cream, but this essence is also mixed with some citrusy and spicy scent. The combination creates warm and soft fragrance, not very overpowering. It is clean and refreshing, yet relaxing at the same time. My family members love this scent on me, and I don't easily get compliments from them but everyone, from young to old, seems to like this fragrance as much as I do. I would probably get bored if I wear this everyday, but this is definitely a nice change from other mainstream scents like floral, woody, or musky fragrance. I even got their rollerball version.

This used to be my essential item almost every time I paint my nails. But I discovered an even better top coat, Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat. This 30 Second is also fast-drying and good at protecting nail polish from chipping and peeling, but Insta-Dri gives my nails extra shiny looks, and prolongs the duration of my cheap nail colors. Insta-Dri is a bit more expensive than this one, but it is absolutely worth the price.

I don't know this perfume is meant to be a unisex fragrance because I find their scent quite masculine. It reminds me of a men's body spray. Too sharp, too spicy for me.

I wanted to try non-minty tingly lip balm. When I saw this adorable tin, I could not resist buying it. This lip balm was rich and buttery, like a little less greasy version of petroleum jelly. The strawberry scent smelled good, but a bit artificial. While this may not be a soothing lip balm, It did a wonderful job moisturizing my dry lips!

My aunt gave this full size bottle to me and PI by Givenchy for Men to my husband. When freshly applied, I could detect oriental and mature spicy scents like Sandalwood and Patchouli. I don't often wear oriental floral fragrance, but I thought this one was lovely. However, when it dried down, it gradually turned to the powdery scent. I wish the top note remained longer.

I like Burt's Bees Honey Lip Balm stick. But, in my opinion, this Beeswax Lip Balm in tin is richer, longer lasting, and more minty and soothing than their Honey Lip Balm stick. Even though the tin may not be as convenient as the stick one, I love this one much more. Additionally, this is cheaper than the stick one. It works well against dry winter lips, but I also use it in summer too because I like a tingly cool feeling on my lips. I wish the stick honey lip balm was as strong as this tin version, or this tin version was available in stick. I agree with another reviewer about the tin. I also have a trouble opening it sometimes. That's the only reason I don't give the perfect rating of ten.
