I like a lot of things about this mascara. It gives my lashes length and curl, but it is not clumpy or overly-voluminizing, so it is the perfect "no makeup-makeup look" mascara. However, it does not have the lasting power I would have liked. It has a very wet, liquidy formula, so it smudges and smears very easily. I prefer drier, thicker formulas that stay put all day. I bought the waterproof version too, and it still was very wet and thin. If I could have the same wand in a drier formula, like the Full Bloom from Covergirl, I'd like it much more.

I went to Sephora one day with a list of stuff I wanted, and while I was in line, I saw the little sample size stuff, and an Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder was one of them. I swatched it just for fun, and it was so amazingly soft that I ran out of the line to the Hourglass counter and swatched all the colors. I chose Mood Light, which is a soft delicate pink that gives me a soft, natural, lit from within rosy glow to my fair skin. It is so natural, and works when I have full face of makeup or when I have less makeup on. Some days, when I don't feel like putting a bunch of stuff on but still want to look fresh, I dust this on my cheeks, nose, inner corners, brow bones, cupids bow, and chin, top it off with a little mascara, and I look healthy and glowy, but not over the top. It is a very soft powder, and does have some kick up. I would not recommend traveling with this, as it so soft that it could easily break. The packacing is so luxurious as well. And, while it is expensive, you get a lot of product, and a little goes a long way. It also is something you can use everyday. For those reasons, I think it is worth the $45. I plan on getting Dim Light when I have the extra cash, because I have become obsessed with strong and natural golden highlight. I also have dry skin, and this powder doesn't emphasize dry texture or patches or make me look powdery.

I recently bought my first one of these raved-about Jumbo Eye Pencils, the ever popular Milk. It is so creamy, blendable, smooth, long-lasting, and it makes all the super bright eyeshadows I love to wear standout and last. I plan on buying every single other color available. The only reason I do not give it a 10 is because of the love/hate relationship I have with the packaging. I love that it's a pencil because it is super easy to apply. But, the pencil wears down quickly, and you cannot twist up more product. And, I do not have a sharpener that is big enough or strong enough to sharpen it. Since I do love the product so much, I am willing to depot it, but it is just a little thing that bothered me enough to give it a 9 instead of a 10. Other than that I love everything about them!

I love the delicate, cucumber scent. Normally I never buy scented deodorants because I find the scents weird, but this one is subtle and really adds to the refreshing feel. It helps block sweat and odor during the day when I put it on in the morning. Also, after a sweaty session at work (I teach martial arts classes), a tough workout in PE (I'm in a weights/speed training class), or any kind of sweaty activity, it helps with that a lot too. I did not give it more stars because after a workout it leaves a lot of white gunk on my pits that clings there and sometimes rubs off on my clothes a bit.

I love this shaving cream! It smells divine, like peaches and apricots and berries. Also, it is thick and protective. I'm very uncoordinated and I get minimal burns and nicks with this thick formula. Also, it leaves my legs feeling really silky like the name suggests. I wish I could find it in a travel size so I could bring it with me when I travel, but other than that it is fantastic.

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner 2 in 1
Smells Good, No Build Up
I like this product for several reasons: -it smells nice -it is perfect for lazy girls (2 steps in 1) -it does not lead to build up in my roots (as many conditioning products tend to do) -it actually does both jobs it advertises (cleans and softens hair) -it is cheap and readily available While it is not my favorite hair cleansing product, it is certainly a staple for a thrifty lazy person, such as myself.

Vaseline petroleum jelly is one of the most useful, versatile, and affordable beauty products one can have. I use it to protect my hair line, ears, and neck when I dye my hair. I use it to give my lips natural, moisturizing shine and gloss. I use it to moisturize my cracked elbow skin and knees. And, even though I have an oily T zone, I can use vaseline to add moisturizing highlight to my eyelids, cheeks, and lips for a natural healthy glow on days I want to give my face a break from makeup. A drugstore classic I will never stop purchasing. Also, if you mix in a favorite eyeshadow color, you can experiment with a cool new gel eyeliner or lip tint.

Like all L'Oreal True Match products, this concealer comes in a lot of colors, so finding a color that matched my skin tone was not difficult. That, unfortunately, is the only part of the name that is really true. This concealer is not blendable. In fact, it does not match anyone's skin finish or texture. It gets cracked a dry quickly, and when you try to blend it, it slides of the blemish you meant to cover in the first place. Even if I warm the crayon up it is still dry and cakey. I try to conceal the cystic acne I get in the little ridge on the side of nose, and the concealer gets cakey build-up in there that does not actually cover the zit. I tried to use it as an under eye concealer, but even after a lot of blending and layering foundation and powder over it, it gave my skin an uneven, clumpy look. However, I suppose to each their own because this is my mom's favorite concealer. If you do try it, do not be surprised if it is dry on you, even if you have oilier skin like me.

I love this palette so much! The metallic, foil-like finish is beautiful, and I love all the colors so much. I use the champagne, gold, silver, light pink, and white shades as highlight in my inner corner, brow bone, or even a bit pressed on top my other shadow in the center of my lid for shine and definition. The cobalt blue and dark purple are really fun, unexpected colors to use. I use a sheerer wash of them for day or with primer and a matte base of a similar color for night. The blacks and browns I use a lot, less for day and more for night. I totally recommend this palette to try out the baked shadow trend, because it is so versatile and the two fun colors are unique and force you to get out of a neutral rut. I'll admit a lot of Sephora-brand products, shadows in particular, are low-quality and unpopular, but do not overlook this palette!

Shade Flutter 040 of Burt's Bees Lip Shine is my go-to drugstore lipgloss. It feels smooth and not tacky or sticky. It provides a sheer wash of raspberry pink, great by itself or over pink and red lipstick. I wear it all the time, and you can squeeze out only a little and still get great sheer color and shine. You can squeeze out more for a slightly more opaque tint as well. One of my top drugstore lip products and I like it way more than their balms.
