This product is okay. It has its pros and cons. On the pro side, it is thin, sheer, and is good for general redness or uneveness on larger areas, like the cheeks and foreheads. I have dry cheeks, and this gives them a little moisture and evens it out slightly, although obviously not as much as a true foundation. But, if your rub it in too much, you can easily completely blend away any color. Also, if I put this directly any of my areas with acne, like my chin, nose, and hairline, it makes that area look more greasy, red, and noticeable. I do like this to mix with other foundations to sheer them out without lightening the color too much. It isn't a "skin perfector" as advertised though, and it doesn't do a great job of what it's supposed to do without help from other products. Because of all this, I will finish the tube but I won't repurchase.

This is a runner up to my favorite drugstore lipstick (the Maybelline Creamy Mattes) because it is matte but still goes on creamy and is moisturizing and doens't accentuate dryness, flakes, or lines. I have the color 111 Kiss of Life, which is a vibrant, warm, scarlet red. Even though the packaging is cheap plastic, it still looks pretty in my organizer because of the red and the cute Kate with a heart for Kate Moss. So, even though it is drugstore, a few of these will look pretty on your vanity. The lipstick smells really nice and fruity when applying, which I love. It has no trace of chemical scent. and it still smells good even though it doesn't smell like vanilla or cake, as a lot of popular lip products do. It goes on pretty easily, though I do recommend a lip liner or application with a lip brush for it, as the red color especially makes it easy for it to smear outside your lip line. But, once it's on, it lasts a decent amount of time. I normally only have to apply it once after lunch and maybe one more time during the day if I have been rubbing my lips together a lot. It has a really comfortable wear. The only reasons I don't like it as much as the Maybelline Creamy Mattes are: a) it isn't as opaque on the first application and b) the Maybelline line has wider range of colors that will suit any taste. The Rimmel ones are even cheaper than Maybelline though, so if your on a tight budget, these are a great option instead of the Maybelline Creamy Mattes.

I have this Clinique Different Lipstick in A Different Grape, which is deep, muted plummy neutral. It is a relatively sheer lipstick that can be built up to more opaque. It does end up feeling kind of greasy on the lips with a lot of layers though. This color is nice for when I want to look very grown up and mature, as it is a mature color. However, I wish the line had more vibrant or interesting colors. I don't love the color choices, and for a department store lipstick I don't think the packaging is very good. It feels kind of cheap to me. The lipstick itself is okay but does smear after a while. I wouldn't repurchase or recommend, but I still don't hate it. If you really like Clinique and like more toned down colors, then this may be for you, but it is a little to matronly for me.

I have two of these lipsticks in the colors Blushing Pout and Vibrant Violet. The packaging is your standard Maybelline lipstick packaging: silver plastic twist up tube with the color on the bottom and a dark purplish frosted plastic cap. The bullet itself of the lipstick is curved and pointy, which is great for getting the shape of your lips defined without a lip liner. The lipstick itself has a faint smell, and it smells like a very faint version of the scent of NYX Butter Glosses. The lipstick itself is VERY creamy (as indicated by the product name) and is actually quite moisturizing for a matte finish lipstick. It isn't super matte like a MAC lipstick, but it is a nice demi-matte finish. The color is strong, thick, and opaque after first application. This color will not last long, but it is so comfortable to wear and doesn't fade away in an ugly manner. By that I mean it doesn't settle in your lines, crust up, or anything like that. As for MAC dupes, Vibrant Violet is a more moisturizing version of MAC's very popular shade Heroine, and Blushing Pout is a dupe for MAC Faux. Both are lipsticks I love, so while I was sad to pick colors I already have in my collection, these are better options on days for when I have dry lips. Also, Blushing Pout is more pink and warm whereas Faux is more mauve and neutral. But, Vibrant Violet and Heroine are exact color dupes. Try out this creamier, hydrating version of it if you're not sure you want to commit to the MAC version. I plan on buying just about every single color in this line as this is my favorite drugstore lipstick formula.

I have dry skin, and I love glowy skin, so I normally am drawn to baked or shimmer blushes and not matte formulas. But, the limited edition display and the fancy embossed rose on the powder drew me in. I got Tea Rose, and let me tell you, when you feel it, it feels very nice, but it swatches horribly with your finger. I thought I was going to have to return it. It does not have that pigmented, smooth swatch you get with Milani's Baked Blushes. But, when applied with a brush to the cheeks, this blush stands out: in fact, it is so pigmented that it is easy to go overboard. This isn't as blendable as the Baked Blushes, which is to be expected of mattes as they are drier. However, for a matte blush, this one doesn't look chalky on my dry skin. It is great for when you have super glittery eyes and you don't want distracting shimmer and shine in other parts of your face. I do think if you like matte blushes, one of these colors might be worth it for you. But, I still think the Baked Blushes are the best, and if you are between one of these and a Milani Baked Blush, go for the baked blush. But if you already have a lot of Milani's Baked Blushes, this may be a lovely addition to your collection to change up your blush routine.

I love blush that gives a glow. If you like matte blushes, you won't like this. But, this is hands down my favortie blush ever. I have Berry Amore, and I plan on buying every other color in the range, espcially Luminoso and Delicioso Pink. This blush is so pigmented, and yet so blendable, that I think every color (even the darker colors) could work for my fair skin. Similarly, I think lighter colors could be blended into a lovely highlighter for deeper skin tones. The golden marbling in Berry Amore make my cheeks look healthy and awake. The color is a beautiful, wearable deep reddish-pink. It feels so soft and luxe that you would think it was a high-end baked blush. The shimmer in it is a glow/sheen, not glitter particles, so it doesn't accentuate my dry texture. I would recommend this blush one hundred times over to anyone it is so wonderful. The compact also has a mirror, and it is small while still holding a lot of product, so it works great for travel and on the go touch ups. All in all, the best blush one could buy.

This cleanser feels nice and thick and creamy when you wash your face with it. It is affordable and readily available as well. When I started using it, I noticed my face was more soft and hydrated. But, I do get some oily patches and acne, as I am a teenager, This doesn't really clean my chin, the areas around my noes, or my hairline where I get greasy and cystic acne. So, I wish this cleanser had more cleansing properties along with its moisturizing properties.

I really like that this product has SPF but doesn't feel or smell like sunscreen. I like the consistency. I have drier skin, so I do wish it was tad more nourishing, but I will save this one because I love it more for makeup. I love to mix foundation with this. I have dry skin. so foundations can easily look cakey and awful on me. Plus, I prefer lighter, more even coverage, and then I use concealer in areas that need more coverage. Mixing my foundations with this and a drop of radiant primer gives my skin coverage without looking like I am wearing any foundation. So I will finish the bottle for that use, and I think I will buy a more hydrating version from the same brand when I finish this bottle.

I hated this foundation so much! I used it once and promptly threw it away. I had been having trouble finding a good foundation for my combo skin, and I wanted something that would give natural coverage for my first day of school. This was on sale and promised matte coverage, so I bought it. Putting it on my cheeks and nose the morning before school, it felt funny, so I mixed it with a little moisturizer to cool it off. By lunch, it was melting all over the place in the heat and looked streaky in my oily spots and cakey and weird everywhere else. Not to mention there was a line of big red pimples on my nose and cheeks that itched and burned! I would not recommend this to anyone. I do not have very oily patches to begin with, but this made them worse, and gave me enormous zits on my dry/normal patches.

I have drier skin, dark under eye circles, teenage skin with red patches and blemishes, and occasional discolored patches. This concealer is thick and creamy, and covers nicely. At the same time, it isn't so full coverage that I look cakey. It goes nicely over foundation or on bare skin for days I wear less makeup. It blends super easily, and I don't even need to set it with powder! This is great medium coverage concealer and I think it is particularly for dry skin, the under eye area, and larger patches that need coverage. I love it's natural finish so much too! I wish there was a larger bottle of this so I could use it as foundation!
