I like the way this brow gel holds my brows in place without making them crunchy like some brow gels can. I also like how tiny the applicator is and that if you mess up and get some product on the skin around your brows, it is easy to get rid of without messing up the rest of your makeup. I have light brown hair but very dark eyebrows, so I got the darker shade of this. I don't think the undertones match those of my brows though, so if I decide to repurchase I have to go with clear. I think I might pick a different brow gel when I run out just because I really would prefer a tinted one but L'Oreal only makes a dark shade and a light shade.

I do like the colors in both the Light and Medium palettes for contouring and correcting fair to light-medium skin tones. And these colors blend pretty well with a sponge or dense brush. I think the texture could be better though. Some shades are kind of creamier in comparison to others, but overall they have a tacky, sticky feeling. It isn't so bad when you blend it out, but if you use a yellow shade to correct blemishes it can just make them look crusty. I also don't recommend using them under the eyes unless you have very oily skin. I think I will try them with facial oil mixed in to make them a little less drying and sticky around blemishes and under my eyes because the color is nice for correcting.

I love beautyblenders. I got my first one when I was 14 and have been using sponges religiously to apply most foundations unless I want super full coverage. But, beatyblenders are not cheap! They are $20 each and they get dirty a lot so you have to wash them a bunch and after a few months you have to replace them to avoid mold and bacteria. Spending $20 several times per year is annoying. I bought the 2-pack of the Real Techniques sponges at Ulta, and I am never buying another beautyblender again. The dry RT sponge feels firmer than the dry BB, but when you saturate it with water it feels just as soft and plush. It blends foundation, concealer, and cream products just as well as a beautyblender, I love the shape too because it really fits the contours of my face and neck well. I also love the flat side because it makes baking, a trend I was too afraid to try before, so much easier. Plus I can get 2 of these sponges for around half the price of a single BB. Furthermore, if I wait for it to be BOGO 50% off at Ulta, I can also get a brush in there too for around the price of a single BB. In other words, the beautyblender is awesomes, but the RT sponges are awesome and affordable!

I do really like this brush. It is my first Real Techniques brush, and because I like it so much I see myself buying the stippling brush and setting brush. The bristles are soft, and the shape allows for a soft application of blush or bronzer that can be applied and blended easily. It picks up pigment well, but not so well that I end up with clown cheeks (a common problem for me because I can be a little heavy-handed). I have washed this brush several times and it hasn't shed at all, which I really appreciate because I am all about regularly washing my brushes and keeping it sanitary. My only complaint is that the handle is really wide and bulky, so it isn't the best travelling companion and it kind of takes up a lot of room in my brush cup. But I can overlook that for the bristle quality at such a good price.

I got a mini size of the ever-popular shade Opal in an Ulta set of BECCA products. It is a beautiful highlight, with both stunning pigmentation and blendability. If you are into a strong, glowy, seen-from-outer-space-highlight, then you will love this highlighter. Be forewarned that it does have significant shimmer in it. I wouldn't call it glitter, but if you have a lot of texture on your cheekbones, this highlighter is more likely to accentuate them than say the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders. But, if you like intense highlight and aren't worried about accentuating texture or blemishes on your cheeks, then this is a stunning way to top off the high points of your face and it blends in so that even though it clearly isn't a natural highlight, it still looks beautiful.

The prospect of not needing falshe lashes and the cute packaging drew me in to this new mascara from Maybelline. Do not be fooled, you don't want this mascara. It has a super wet and goopy formula that gets all globby and makes your lashes clump together and transfer all over your lids and under eye areas. I also found the wand to be absolutely terrible. The wand is super wobbly and long, so when I was applying it the wand wobbled uncontrollably and the tip stabbed my eye ball several times. It looked like bad mascara, not false lashes. I really don't like it and it is just sitting on my desk, drying out like the waste of money it is.

All of my favorite beauty Youtubers hype up these lipsticks and say it is their favorite formula. They have collected just about every shade. However, it took me a really long time to actually buy one because of the hefty price tag. But, when I was in Sephora swatching lipsticks, the color Jeanne spoke to me. It is a stunning browny warm red shade and I absolutely love it. And I totally understand the hype. The packaging is so sleek and luxurious. It has nice weight to it, and the lid is magnetized, so I'm not so scared to bring the lipstick with me in my purse. It is so creamy and opaque. While it isn't transfer proof, it doesn't fade patchy or ugly: it leaves a stain on your lips so it still looks fresh and pigmented. It never emphasizes lines or dryness; if anything it hydrates. It is not totally smear proof, ad you can get it outside your lips during the day if you aren't careful, but it is such a beautiful high end lipstick I see myself buying more colors in the future.

I am disappointed in myself because I totally let a Body Shop employee talk me into buying this. She sold it to me, and normally I can't be sold on something I haven't already researched to death. I have normal to dry skin with occasional oily breakouts on my chin, nose, forehead, and jaw. This doesn't do much of anything for me. It kind of reduces oil, but not enough to help clear break outs. It kind of also dries out my skin if it touches any skin that isn't an oily patch, so that is annoying. I can't return it, so I feel like I have to use it up because it was too expensive to just throw away. I won't repurchase and I do not recommend this. Very disappointing product from The Body Shop.

I bought this eyebrow gel in Granite, and I returned it two days later. I was excited because I have thicker eyebrows and long, fast growing eyebrow hairs, and I hoped this would tint, define, and lock my brows in place. While my eyebrows looked dark all throughout, I didn't think they looked defined really. I know that sounds strange, but I don't know how to explain it. Also, it did not hold my brows in place, especially the rogue hairs at the tail of my brows. On top of that, the brush is so big it smears a lot of product outside brows. I was disappointed. I might try the clear brow gel because it seemed like it was a different formula than the tinted ones when I swatched it on my hand in store, but I wouldn't recommend the tinted gel.

This palette is a great staple in your makeup collection. Since it is all mattes, I feel like you can create looks just with this palette if you wanted to. Also, since it has mattes in many undertones, it can accompany any eyeshadow palette to be a part of any look. The palette is great for beginners and more advanced people because it is set up in four eyeshadow quads of three undertones (neutral, cool, and warm) with a large all-over base color, a contouring crease color, and defining color for the lashline, and a highlight color. So, you can make easy fast looks with the quads within the palette for rushed mornings. However, since the shadows blend and layer so well in the crease and on the lid, you can build complex eye looks with this palette taking shades from throughout the palette and others. They are soft, buttery, and pigmented shadows that don't look chalky on my dry eyelids. The packaging looks really cool but I wish the mirror were a little larger. That is seriously my only complaint with it. It has a sturdy packaging and it has a magnetic closure, so it makes it a great versatile palette to travel with. All in all, I would say it is one of the most versatile and must-have palettes available at Sephora. I truly love it and see myself using it nearly daily.
