I bought the classic peachy nude color every basic beauty guru loves: 903C. I also tried out a darker brown color, but the sticker on mine with the number wore off. The nude color everyone loves is great. It has one-swipe full opacity and coverage, a smooth formula both in application and wear, and it lasts a long time. It fades evenly and actually makes my lips look smoother and less wrinkly somehow. The brown shade has a nice end result, but takes some more layering to get to that point. It definitely goes on sheer at first, especially on the edges of your lips. These lipsticks have no scent which I like too. Some cons about the lipsticks overall is they have a flat, wide top, which makes it difficult to apply precisely. Also, the packaging is very cheap and I have had the bullet fall out of the tube many times. I would recommend lighter shades over darker shades if you want an effortless application, but at such a low price it is worth it to try the darker colors and just layer a bit more.

This palette was such a let down for me. I tried the raved-about Comfort Zone palette that was smooth, pigmented and blendable much like my higher-ticket palettes. This one had a few good shades like the shimmery pink brow bone color and the brown crease color, but the purples were all sheer and patchy with a color payoff on the lid not true to pan. The darker crease and definer shades came off as the same dark muted color with poorly-bound glitter that created fall out. The other brow bone shade looked powdery and unflattering on the eye. Overall, I was very disappointed and ultimately gave it away to a friend who prefers sheerer eyeshadows anyway. If you want an affordable palette that rivals high-end brands, go with the Comfort Zone palette also from Wet n Wild.

This dry shampoo definitely soak up oil, refreshes, and volumizes hair. I also love the smell of the fresh scent one, so it also works like hair perfume for me. You also don't need a lot and get so much for your money, which is awesome. My only gripe is that this stuff will leave a white cast on any hair color: my hair is a lighter brown and if I spray this close to my head, I look like I sprayed white hair dye in my hair. However, if you follow the directions on the can and spray it from farther away, you will be fine. All in all, this product has changed my hair routine for the better.

At $4-$5 depending on where you buy it, this is a pretty good powder. It works with you if you work with it. I like to use it with a damp sponge or very lightly with a fuller powder brush in patting motions. This powder can easily look noticeable and patch if you bake with it, use too much, or use a brush or tool that doesn't pat/press it in to the skin. I find that it can sometimes crack around my nose throughout the day too. I will use it up, but since powders are so finicky with my skin, I think I will invest in another option once I finish this powder, whether that is at a similar or lower price. However, if you're skin is oilier and doesn't get dry patches, or you're on a budget, this is a great cheap powder that I like much more than the ELF loose powder.

Soft and Gentle in the Mineralize Skinfinish range is an absolutely stunning highlighting color for lighter skin tones. It does have sparkles in it, so I do not wear it a lot. It was a gift, so I don't feel like I wasted money on it at least, but I just wish it was smoother and even just shimmery instead of glittery. It looks pretty in pictures and from afar, but up close on the cheeks it's a bit much for day to day.

This bronzer made me understand why people bother with wearing bronzer. I used to hate how warm or neutral bronzer looked on me because it always looked splotchy or made my light skin look orange-cast. This bronzer is actually neutral and VERY sheer. This works in my favor, as I can build it up across my face and neck without going to heavy. It definitely is not shimmery, but not so matte that it looks flat: it has a slight sheen to it that makes you look like you got a tan and have naturally glowy skin. I also use this now to blend out the few more intense bronzers I have to make them more natural on me. I have the lightest shade, but I wish there were more shades because even the darkest shade isn't dark enough for my medium skin toned friends I rave about this product to. As always, my draw back with Physician's Formula products is the frustrating lack of shade diversity. There are more than two skin tones!

Physicians Formula Super CC Color-Correction + Care Instant Blurring CC Eye Cream SPF 30
What Happened
I wrote a fairly positive review on this concealer just over a month ago. Because of my experience with it, I now am careful to be sure I have looked at a product in all lighting at all times throughout the day before I review it. It looks light and natural and hydrating at first application in the lighting in my bedroom, which notoriously blurs and softens things that aren't really that blurred and softened in natural or fluorescent light. This concealer dries out throughout the day and instead of creasing it leaves these circular flakey patches all under my eyes and anywhere else I use it. I have these faint white spots under my eyes (they could be millia or something else), and as the day goes on in natural lighting I can see the concealer exaggerating them because it doesn't really cover them as it is so sheer, but you can tell I am wearing concealer. Overall, this product has turned out to disappoint me on top of the fact that it is only available in two shades for very light skin tones.

My mom loves Clinique and always gets the gift with purchase. There is always a deluxe sample size of this moisturizer in the goody bag, and she always gives it to me. Those samples last a really long time too, and are perfect for travelling. I like this moisturizer because it definitely hydrates my skin when it is dry, oily , or combo, as my skin type has fluctuated a lot over the past few years. I still do occasionally buy other moisturizers when I have specific skin concern for a few months, but this is good for general hydration and easy to get on a budget as well.

The biggest reason probably this is my favorite highlighter is because it is the first one I ever got and it was a gift from my sister. But, it is so amazing on top of that. For one thing, I have had it for 2 years and I have barely made a dent in the middle. You need the tiniest bit, and the product has not changed at all. The color works really well for my light skin, and I think it is good for fair to light-medium skin tones. It is definitely a noticeable highlighter, but it does not look chunky or sparkly on the skin. I just very lightly wiggle my brush in the pan and put it on the high points of my face for natural days and then slowly build it for dances or nights out. I love this highlighter to pieces, and if I ever run out I will definitely repurchase.

I have always been a firm believer in only drugstore mascaras, like Covergirl, and refused to pay more for one. But, I got the Roller Lash as a Sephora 100 points perk. It is the best mascara I have ever used. It curls my lashes without a lash curler, makes them inky black, gives length and volume, and never smudges or flakes. I like that the formula is wet, but not so wet that it makes it easy to get on your eyelid or nose while applying. I will definitely purchase the full size from now on when I finish the sample size, and I don't see myself ever buying or using another mascara.
