This spray is pretty good and not as drying as the surf spray, which has salt in it. This one is better for dry hair like mine. It does add texture and grip but the bottle is so darn small and it takes a considerable amount of spray to get a truly beachy look that the price is prohibitive. I don't know why this has to be so pricey. The bottle is much smaller than the surf spray. Why? Are dry haired people richer? LOL? I used this a couple of times and although it worked ok I wasn't impressed enough with it and it wasn't that much better than my beloved AG Texture Spray for me to part with the inflated price, so I returned it to Sephora. It also has a matte finish, which I'm not thrilled with. I don't know why I have to make a choice between texture and shine. AG Texture Spray has a shiny finish but still gives me loads of beachy texture. It's a total win for me. I'm giving Surf Infusion a decent rating because it's pretty decent. However, I also look for value for money and to me this isn't. I felt ripped off by the teeny weeny size of the bottle and after using it once twice, 1/5 of the bottle was GONE! Ripoff! Totally! I recommend it though, if you got the cash.

I use this oil on my dry ends and it soaks right in in about 15 minutes. My hair is heavily highlighted, color treated and I heat style several times a week so dryness is always an issue. I use this oil on damp hair, just a few drops, mainly on the last two inches, before I use the Invisible Oil Primer. This extra bit of hydration keeps my ends supple and soft and the primer provides thermal protection. These two products, plus the Styling Lotion, give me a great hair day nearly every day and eliminate frizz completely, even in the Florida humidity. The oil is very smooth and viscous and a little bit goes a very long way. Yes, it's expensive, but the bottle will last me a year or more. I also use it on my finished style, just a single drop, for added shine and smoothness. However, if you use too much, your hair will definitely look greasy so go easy on the amount. If your hair is very dry, like mine, you may want to use a drop or two daily, which is what I've been doing lately. I give it about 15 minutes to completely soak in and after that time, my hair is gorgeous. My dryness is completely gone. I highly recommend this oil, as well as the primer, especially if you heat style.

This spray definitely adds thickness but it is also quite sticky if you use too much and especially so if used on dry hair. I used it first on dry hair and then tried to get a brush through my hair and I had some breakage, which was not a good thing. However, I discovered that if I sprayed it sparingly and then brushed through it, that it didn't cause this problem It definitely adds thickness to thin strands. I also used it on wet hair and then blow dried. I tangled my hair this way too and it's better not to try to get a brush through until it's completely dry. I experienced breakage this way too. I don't know why this product has such good reviews or what I'm doing wrong. My hair isn't fine or thin and this spray should add some dimension to it and shouldn't be causing such damage. It's been reformulated and now has alcohol in it and I found it very drying. I tried it several days in a row and I could definitely see a difference (beyond the obvious breakage) in the level of moisture. I needed to use a hydrating mask a couple of times to undue this issue. This shouldn't happen and I don't know if anyone else has reported this problem or not but I don't think this is a unique issue. I certainly don't want to use a product that causes breakage and dryness, There's simply no point, even if it increases thickness. There are other products on the market that work well (Rusk Thick works really well and doesn't cause any of these problems) so there's no reason to use this Bumble and Bumble product. Obviously the reformulation has had a negative impact. I used this many years ago and loved it so I wanted to use it again. But this isn't like it was all those years ago. It didn't behave like this or else I wouldn't have purchased it again. Years ago it was called "Thickening Spray" not "hairspray". It used to be great but Bumble and Bumble is trying to cut corners somewhere and tampered with a winning formula, probably to save cash but at the expense of their customer's hair. Take a pass on this product. If you want breakage and dryness then by all means use it. I'm returning it to Sephora. I'm pining for the old formula. I'll stick with Rusk, which works really well with none of the breakage or dryness. What a shame Bumble and Bumble.

This is a great styling product with excellent hold that gives hair body and bounce no matter how you style it. I apply it liberally after using Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil Primer and then let my hair air dry overnight. In the morning I use a curling iron to create loose waves that I run a brush through only once to loosen up the curl just a bit. The waves snap back to their original position and have loads of body but also have that lovely beachy texture that's so on trend right now. But be careful not to over spray or this styling lotion could get a bit sticky. A light coating is all that's needed and then run a wide tooth comb through to make sure that the lotion is evenly distributed. Because of the primer, I get no frizz and my hair is protected from the heat of the curling iron. But the styling lotion also adds shine and smells amazing. If you want a product that adds loads of bouncy body no matter how you style, then this is the product you want. It's been around for years and as far as I'm concerned, there's none better. Yes, it's expensive, but like I said, a little goes a long way so the bottle lasts quite a long time, depending on the length of your hair. Mine is collarbone length and it lasts me a couple of months at least. I've tried to find a less expensive dupe, but I've just wasted my money because nothing else comes close. This product is unique. It's lightweight yet has strong hold that keeps my style in place despite the fact that my hair is impossible to hold and other products fail in an hour. With this styling lotion, my style lasts a couple of days and if I need to restyle on the 2nd or 3rd day, I don't need to respray, I just recurl. I definitely recommend this product, especially if your hair is hard to hold.

I tried Illumina on a whim. I usually a Koleston user but I'd heard good things about Illumina so I decided to give it a try. But that was a big mistake. Koleston runs one level dark and that's what I expected with Illumina but I was very surprised when my hair turned out one full level too dark. Of course there wasn't much I could do but go skulking to my stylist and beg for mercy and hope he wouldn't charge me an arm and a leg to fix it and return it to it's former lighter shade. This involved bleach, of course, and lots of highlights, which were quite pricey and of course lots of begging for forgiveness too. At least I didn't use the dreaded "box color", at least there's that. All this because Illumina has to be "different" and the color wasn't all that great either. It wasn't shinier or any better than that of Koleston, so I don't see the big whoop at all. From now on I'll do my touchups with Koleston, which I've used for a decade and always been happy with. The grass isn't always greener, if you know what I mean. I guess Illumina could work for you if you know what to expect. And thanks to me, now you do.

This is a really good leave in. It makes hair smooth and shiny and eliminates frizz. It's light enough for fine hair and it never weighs my hair down. It also smells nice. It's full of silicone though so it really doesn't hydrate, which is unfortunate. So there are no long term benefits. Still, it's pretty darn good.

This is my favorite styling product on the planet! It has great hold and completely eliminates frizz, even in Florida! I use a curling iron to create loose waves and this spray holds them all day and they don't droop even if it rains. It's so lightweight that I can't even feel it in my hair at all. It isn't sticky or stiff but it gives me body and bounce and nonstop shine. I've been using this for several years and simply can't live without it. If I don't have several backups, I go into a panic. There's nothing else quite like it. It has no silicone yet control frizz like a champ. It's a miracle in a bottle. I definitely recommend it highly. It's a godsend for fine hair and for medium hair like mine, whether you blow dry, flatiron or use a curling iron like I do. Great stuff!!

This dryer has 2000 watts and dries really fast. In fact I dry my hair about 80% dry and then lower the heat to medium and then use the round brush to dry it the rest of the way. This dryer also has negative ions so there is no frizz whatsoever. I get a nice smooth blowout that is very close to the one I get from my stylist. This dryer has two speeds and three heat settings which work great. There's no need to buy a more expensive dryer, which really work no better. The titanium feature means that the heat is nice and even and the cool shot feature ensures long lasting curl and volume. I don't blow dry my hair very often, preferring to air dry most of the time. But when I do, I really like using this dryer. It has every feature I could want and I can do a blowout very quickly (under 15 minutes for my collarbone length hair). I don't know why this site reports that this dryer is $10.99 when it's actually $60 on Amazon, but oh well. It's worth every penny. Babyliss is a professional brand and it should last a very long time. I definitely recommend it highly.

This conditioner works really well and keeps my hair supple and strong. I use it for about 10-15 minutes after squeezing almost all the water out of my hair with a micro fiber towel. This keeps the conditioner from being diluted from the water and it penetrates much better, leading to better results. This simple thing makes a big difference. I've been using Strength Cure since it came out . I used to use Essential Repair which was discontinued but I do like Strength Cure a lot. It has a lot of protein, which weakened hair needs in spades but it also hydrates really well also. It's the perfect balance of the two. My hair is smooth and shiny and there is zero frizz, even in the Florida humidity . I noticed a difference after only a few uses and I will continue to use this formula because I get such good results. My hair responds well to styling and these products smell amazing! I definitely recommend this conditioner and the shampoo. Together they can mend even the most damaged hair.

My hair is strong and shiny because of Strength Cure shampoo and conditioner. They have a high protein content which is good for strength and they also hydrate really well at the same time, keeping my hair supple and soft. I've been using them for about a year and would never use anything else. It doesn't take much shampoo to get a nice frothy lather or much conditioner to get good coverage. I leave the conditioner on for about 10 minutes while I finish my shower and this makes a huge difference. The shampoo is really gentle and never strips my color. These products also smell amazing. Strength Cure is the new formula that replaced Essential Repair and I like it just as well. I've been using it since it came out and would never use anything else. Pureology products are the very best for color treated hair. Nothing else works as well. My hair is strong yet soft and it responds well to styling. It also has zero frizz, even in the Florida humidity. I highly recommend Strength Cure for anyone with hair that's damaged by heat styling or frequently coloring or bleaching. You'll definitely notice a difference with only a few uses.
