I've tried a lot of lipstains from expensive ones to real cheap, dime store ones and I must say this is one of those stains that gives me the "I just drank Kool Aid" look. In other words, it looks like a stain should. A couple of things really appealed to me when I saw this. One was the felt pen type applicator, which makes application precise and easy. This is the kind of applicator I always try to look for when purchasing stains. The other appealing aspect is the selection of colors. A lot of expensive stains only have 1,2 or at the most 3 color selections and the lot of them have only pink based colors which doesn't suit my skin tone well. This line actually has a warm color. I got one in Coy Coral (which is real flattering on me) and Flirty Nude which also works very well. This stain doesn't feel too drying on the lips either but just like with other stains, it's best to top it off with some lip balm for added moisture.

I use this mascara base when I want my lashes to stand out when going on a night out. It does help with volumizing your lashes, makes them thicker looking and adds length. It made my mascara work better than if I had just used it by itself. A friend actually asked me if I was wearing false eyelashes (which I hardly ever wear). The only caveat is it's hard to remove as it really stays put! You need an oil based eye makeup remover to remove it. Also, it's a bit too overbearing for daytime wear so for that reason, I only use it when going out at night.

Clinique Pore Minimizer Thermal-Active Skin Refiner
This is one product I wouldn't purchase for myself.
I was given this as a gift so I didn't purchase it, otherwise I would've felt like I wasted money on it. I have sensitive, combination skin and wanted to see if this product was going to shrink a few large pores I had on the oily T-zone areas. Upon application, the product gets warm and then it gets pretty uncomfortable as it felt like it was burning my skin. I didn't see any difference in pore size either. I'd rather just use warm water to accomplish the same thing. Will not purchase.

To make matters worse, it's the wrong color for me. I have the one in "Cherry". Not that I had that much choice. The only other color is "Pink" and really, I should've known better as pink based lip colors do not go well with my warm undertones. Still, I wanted to try it only because I love lip stains and want to try every single one out there to see which ones would work best for me as you never know until you try...right? Anyway, the color pay off of this product is just not enough. It's real sheer even for a color called "Cherry". I would've expected a little more pop from this, seeing as it's the darker of the two choices. On me, it looked like a sheer lip balm with a slight burgundy cherry finish so if you want that "I just drank a Kool Aid" look to your lips, this one may not be for you.

I don't really like these types of long wear color with gloss but I was given this as a gift so I'm not going to complain about wasting any money on it. Unfortunately the color I was given just didn't suit my skin tone at all. Moreover, I hated the way the product felt on my lips. It made them extremely dry even with liberal applications of the moisturizing gloss it comes with. Speaking of the gloss, yuck! It felt like oil slick on my lips and it disappears fairly quickly, necessitating frequent application. Does it last long? Not bad. About 6 hrs through drinking and eating but oily foods can and did remove it. What I hated the most about this product was it flaked off in little patches here and there. Not a good look at all! The product also dries rather quickly upon application so if you make a mistake, you have to rub the product off and risk irritating your lips. The packaging is alright although I much prefer a brush type applicator as opposed to foam ones. Overall a disappointment for me.

Not only did I have to leave it on longer than the instructions recommended, I still had to use a razor at the end to shave some hairs this product left behind. It also made my skin itch pretty bad. I think I was just allergic to it.

This is by far my favorite eye makeup remover as it doesn't sting my eyes like other similar products do. I have sensitive skin and eyes and a lot of products I've used in the past either irritated my delicate eyelid areas or made my eyes itch like crazy thereafter. Well...this one doesn't, and one swipe is all it takes to remove eye makeup completely. If you have sensitive skin or eyes, you might want to consider trying this product out.

I don't know why I keep trying these types of products out to begin with, seeing as the first two products I tried before(Cover Girl Outlast lipstick and Max Factor Lipfinity) didn't give me good results at all. I figured, the third time's the charm right? Wrong! This particular lip color with the liquid gloss as opposed to a solid stick had the EXACT same performance of its cousin Covergirl Outlast Liptstick (with the solid gloss). And just like its predecessor, it made my lips look and feel very dry within a few minutes. Never mind applying the gloss part as it doesn't stay on for very long. The gloss, even though it's liquid, doesn't help alleviate the dry, icky feeling by much and I had to keep reapplying it. Application of the color is also quite difficult to get right with the applicator wand as it doesn't apply evenly. I ended up with too much color on some parts of my lips and not enough on other parts. It seems the only way to get a semi even application is to use my fingers...but then it gets everywhere else too. Sure it lasts pretty long...about 5 hrs on me and that's without eating or drinking. But honestly, it doesn't matter because by the 5th hour, the lip color looks so tacky by then as it had flaked off in some areas, particularly from the center so I'm left with a ring around my lip as if I'm only wearing lip liner. I'm giving it 2 stars because the color I got was actually quite nice but after 3 failed attempts at these types of products, I can honestly say I'm done with them.

Ordered this from a friend who works for Avon and at first I was a bit reluctant to try another Avon lip gloss because I had been disappointed with the ones I tried in the past. My experience with this one is completely different, however. For me, this gloss has just the right consistency and it wasn't too sticky at all. The color I got is very nice and it's sheer enough for everyday wear but not too sheer that you don't see any color. I also love the applicator it comes with. It makes the gloss a breeze to apply and I don't end up getting too much on my lips. I would repurchase this again.

In fact, this mascara is better than some of the much more expensive ones I bought from Sephora. I use one layer of it during day time before going to work and it's enough to make my lashes stand out without looking overdone. This mascara didn't clump my eyelashes at all and also, no spider legs effect I seem to always get with much more expensive mascaras. Can be layered for a more dramatic look for the evening. Overall a good buy.
