I read about this in Allure, seeing it be a consistent winner in the anti-aging/moisturizer category for a drugstore brand. The first time I used this, I immediately saw & felt results. My skin felt softer and a bit firmer. I love the rich, luxurious texture as well as the scent. I've been using it at night for about a year now, I believe! I think it's too heavy to daytime use, but it's great for night. Since it is so popular, I often find it on sale. Thank you, Olay. Finally a cream that does what it says. In spite of the name, it is NOT a face lift in a jar. It gives you a temporary firmer feeling. But as long as you keep your expectations realistic, I don't think you will be disappointed, even if you rate it lower! :)

I found this to be more greasy than moisturizing. Plus, I didn't like the thin, watery texture. Nothing hydrating about it at all. It is one of L'oreal's least expensive products, for a reason. Also, I didn't like the odor.

I used this for about 6 months and did not see ANY reduction in wrinkles at all. Also, it smells strong and "mediciny". It was a decent enough moisturizer, but it does not live up to its claims and not worth the price. The jar is pretty, but that was pretty much all I could say I actually liked! Nothing "advanced" about it at all! Waste of money.

If this gave just a little coverage for even minor flaws, I'd have given it a 10! I've been using this for about 6 months, and I love it. It goes on smoothly and quickly with my fingertips. Although it does not cover, it does even out my tone and give me a bit of color so I don't look washed out. For days when I need more coverage, I apply concealer over it. It's a great thing when I'm in a hurry and don't feel like putting on foundation and having to blend, blend, blend. Even though I have dry skin, it is hydrating enough alone. But it's even better with a "plain" moisturizer (no SPF) underneath! It's kind of expensive, but a little goes a long way, so a bottle will probably last me a year since I'm about half-way through it. Most importantly, it is so light it does NOT "settle" into my lines!

I had been considering this "mousse" for awhile since I've always used liquid formulas. Being that I was also trying new stuff in other areas of my life, why not a new makeup? I had also read that "whipped" or mousse formulas are good for "older" skin as it is light and will smooth texture as well. Well, ladies with dry skin: BEWARE!!! Even with exfoliating and/or using various types of moisturizer, this formula will exaggerate the TINIEST bit of dry skin! Like other members, I had a hard time picking the right shade. It looks a lot different on the color chart, in the jar, on the label, and in the store lighting. First I got a shade at least two shades too dark for me. Fortunately, the Rite Aid reluctantly took it back. Right shade second time, but this formula does not last long, "breaks up" or "cakes" before the day is over! Rubs off easily too. On the dream side, it covers my freckles, brown spots, and discoloration like a concealer, maybe better. BUT it settles into EVERY tiny line, every pore! Makes my skin look drier and older than it already is! A little goes a VERY long way, as I only use 1/4 of what I would use for a liquid, and it is still "too much" in that it tells the world, "I'm wearing makeup." I don't like to LOOK like I'm wearing makeup, just like I have great skin. I'm going to try to make it work with another moisturizer I haven't yet tried, since I don't feel like returning it again. If that doesn't work, I will use it as a concealer over spots, but not over my whole face! It looks light textured in the jar, but it feels thicker when I put it on! Since it comes in a tiny jar, I should be able to use it up. I gave it a 5 cause it works for some people, like any product. But this is NOT for dry skin or women over 30, I guess! Unless you have few flaws, and normal or slightly oily skin, I would not recommend trying this!

I'm glad to finally see some negative reviews on this stuff. I thought it was just me. I tried it a few times as a teenager (a LONG time ago!), and it made my lashes clumpy, brittle, and even fall out a bit. After all these years, it is still rated a "winner", although it beats me as to why. It goes to show that Allure is not always right on their "winner". But I did find this site from reading about it in Allure. This mascara has a cheap quality to go with the price. I was never motivated to try it again to see if any improvements have been made. There's other brands with far better quality around the same price too. I agree with the user who said whoever rated this must have been in a dungeon or paid to say it's great.

I have tried all types of lotions (of various prices as well as brands), and this is the only one that actually works! I have "alligator" or "lizard legs", and although my skin is not itchy, it is very dry, so I figured it can't hurt my skin to try it. It goes on in a creamy, rich texture and absorbs quickly. I like this better than their Daily Replenishing Lotion, which is too greasy and does not work nearly as well. The mild scent is "calming" too. I used it on my arms as well. My skin is still soft in the morning too.

Finally a long lasting eye shadow! It really lasts 12 hours without touchup (not that I ever did that in the past with other shadows...too lazy). It survived warm, humid days and a gym workout each time. The applicators that come with it are too small, even for a child to play "make up" with, so I use disposable applicators. Reasonable price too.

After trying what seemed like every "rich" moisturizer out there, I used this on the very dry, flaky patches that appeared on my cheeks (they'd come and go). They were so dry that they felt like sandpaper and I couldn't apply makeup evenly. After using this for just a week, the patches went away and stayed away for months! The only con is that it is a little heavy, so I only use it when the patches come back and only on them. It seems using it on my whole face clogs the pores, since it has mineral oil. I like the fragrance free part too.

I used this every night for about 3 months. Although Neutrogena's products are usually very good, this one did not work for me. In the morning, my face felt dry and tight. Maybe I don't need THAT much "firming" (yet!). It seems I need moisture more than firming at this point. (I'm 46 1/2) I am now trying Olay's Regenerist Micro-sculpting night cream, which got rave reviews. I found out about that product and this web site from Allure magazine. I sure hope Olay gives me the moisture Neutrogena did not.
