I got this cause of the rave review from Paula Begoun, Cosmetics Cop. I thought it would be like Neutrogena's HS Enhancer... which I like. Unless you have flawless skin and don't mind tiny glitter, I don't recommend this. I have dry skin with MANY spots and flaws. This has NO coverage, and the "glow" is from tiny sparkles that look unnatural and embarrassing in bright or sunlight. Cloudy days are okay, LOL. If you have oily skin, it will make it look more so. I was going to return this, but it has a high SPF and good anti-oxidants too. So, I tone down the sparkly look (& get coverage) by lightly applying their HS Enhancer over it! I gave it 2 stars for these reasons. It is also easy to blend. I'm using it up, but I won't get it again.

Maybelline New York Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Spot Concealer + Treatment
Hate the gross applicator
I just got this cause of Paula Begoun's rave review. I was using Revlon's competing & similar product. (Revlo n Age Defying Targeted Dark Spot Concealer Treatment) But the shades are too "yellow" or warm to use with the tinted moisturizer I use. (which doesn't cover brown spots well) It made my nose look too pink by comparison. The applicator on this has multiple tiny holes that the product comes from. It's hard to control how much comes out, and you can't get it back in once out. The sponge gets clogged with the concealer, but Maybelline says not to wash it. It is supposedly treated with anti-bacterial stuff. They say to use a dry tissue to remove excess concealer, but it seems an awful lot gets wasted since it gets embedded in the sponge. Maybe it's on purpose so you have to buy more soon. Revlon's is better, with just one tiny hole in the sponge. But the shades are not varied enough. They need some with a bit of pink in them. It does cover well, and so far it holds up all day without fading. But I'm not getting it again.

This is the second product I wasted money on that promises to reduce puffiness, hence the title. (Also tried Garnier's Skin Renew Anti-Puff Roller) This was recommended to me by an online friend. I've heard about cucumber extract for years....but Cosmetics Cop Paula Begoun says it's the coldness of the veg, not the extract. In that case, any cold item should work. This product leaves a film, even when using very little! It also takes a few minutes to dry or absorb. The worst part is you can't put sunscreen or make-up over it, or it will rub off/"pill up". Since it has no SPF either, it is useless for daytime use. It does feel soothing, and it smooths my lines just a bit. I like the fragrance, and I keep it in the frig for extra cooling. But there was little improvement, if any, on the puffiness. Unlike some women, I had no reaction to the product. One is probably better off drinking green tea and eating cucumbers to get those anti-oxidant benefits from them. I will use this up, but I'm not buying it again. I'd use it at night when puffy eyes don't matter and I have tired eyes, long day, etc. I should say I'm 51, and these "pouches" or "bags", whatever, could be due to aging as well. Still, I don't want to look tired all the time, or scare people. So my search continues for something that reduces that puffy look even a LITTLE BIT! I've also tried Preparation H and pressing chilled spoons under my eyes. I have allergies which can make my eyes look even worse....I wear glasses so that hides them a bit, but I don't wear them all the time.

I love the color selections in this line, but the lipstick has the tendency to feel dry after a few hours. Odd, because it feels moist when it goes on initially. Maybe it's TOO moist, so the feeling doesn't last. I have to use moisturizing balm under and over it. The color does last longer than their Moondrops, so it's a pretty decent lipstick.

This doesn't seem to last as long as their other formulas. Even though I've worn it on days when I run errands, when I'm not talking or eating/drinking, it will fade in about 3-4 hours. The fragrance is quite strong, and the color selection bold, so if you don't like fragrance or vibrant colors, you probably won't like this formula. Y(ou could tone it down by applying sparingly or mixing with another color though.) Still, it's good for errands or short trips like to the store, etc. But I don't find it to be an "all day" formula, so touch ups will be necessary.

I used this product for "medium to coarse" hair. I can't find that exact match here, but this is close enough. I've always had trouble with a moustache. Bleaching it just leaves me with a white moustache, and waxing would require me to actually grow one like a man. The protective balm is a good idea, as it made the irritation less. But not only did it still irritate, it didn't WORK on the *&^%$#@ coarse hairs. Those are the ones that are a problem. It did remove the fine hairs, but those are barely visible. These depilatories never worked for me. I thought this would cause of Allure's rating of "Best in Beauty" award or whatever. Just goes to show just cause some magazine says it's great doesn't mean it will be to you too. Even after waiting the maximum 10 minutes, the coarse hair was stubborn. My hair is dark, so trying to keep that upper lip smooth is a pain. Tweezing them would be REALLY painful since the skin is tender near the nose. I can't get to those hairs with any depilatory or razor. Will have to grit my teeth and pluck them. Thankfully, the store took it back. It's awfully expensive for a measly 12 uses, and depending on how much you need to use it, that will go just like that. If it at least WORKED, the small quantity wouldn't be so bad!

I heard they recently came out with a new version of this, with more caffeine. But I won't get getting it. This was expensive for the amount of product they give you. I'm giving it two stars only cause it happened to smooth out my fine lines. That's great, but my puffiness is worse than the lines. Otherwise, I'd have given it 1 star. It doesn't work. First, it takes 2 rolls of the product to get it flowing, then it takes 2-3 rolls under my eyes. Then, it takes about 5 minutes to absorb. It does moisturize well, and it works okay under make-up (texture wise). But I see no difference in the puffiness. I was really hoping this would work, since I tried both Prep H (supposed to be good for puffy eyes) and pressing chilled spoons under my eyes. I'm 51 with dry skin and sagging skin over my lids, so I might be getting what people call "fat pads" or "pouches." This MIGHT work for someone with really mild and occasional puffiness, but not this kind of problem. I do have allergies, which can aggravate the puffiness. But this didn't work. With caffeine in it, I expected a little reduction in puffiness at least.

Since from the name of this foundation implies it is for older women, I thought it would be more moisturizing, and be a "one-step" product for me since it has SPF and glycerin. I found it to be a little thicker than what I'm used to, and it exacerbates my dry patches and flakes a bit. I have used moisturizer underneath first (or mixed some with the foundation in the palm of my hand). Be sure to exfoliate before using this if you have dry skin. In spite of that, it's one of the best foundations I've ever used. It gives me medium coverage while still letting my skin show through. Covers my brown spots and doesn't settle much at all into my lines. Another member is right that a little goes a long way. one pump is all I need. It might feel and look heavy at first, but after it sets it's just fine. It's also pretty long lasting. If you think it's heavy, you might be using too much. I don't notice any "lifting" at all, as I think only Botox can do that.

I find this to be much better & longer lasting than Sephora's Hello Kitty Kohl eyeliner pencils. Since I don't have the steady hand for liquid eyeliner, I use pencil, on the upper lash line only. It does smudge a bit in hot, humid weather. Also, since my eyelids sag a bit, (I'm 50) somehow the liner sometimes ends up on my lower lash line, like it flaked off or something. I don't know how it can "self-sharpen"though, the tip is already not sharp anymore. It's a bit hard to apply & remove, but maybe that's what makes it last pretty long. Overall, decent enough for me.

Another impulse buy cause of how cute it is. It is a sturdy, cute compact but expensive. I guess cause it's a combo, but there's no mirror in the second layer of the compact for one thing. The shadows don't last long at all. They are okay for running some errands or a few hours out, but not all day. And never wear them on a hot, humid day-might as well wear no eye shadow. The lip glosses are more disappointing. Though I don't wear the stuff, they come with the compact so I use them at times. Even though they appear to be different colors in the compact, they all look the SAME on my lips: They seem to have no pigment to them!! The scents are fun, BUT there's no taste to them anymore. I did taste of bit of the flavor for a couple of uses, but nothing after that. Plus, the gloss seems to disappear in an hour or so, even if I don't talk or anything. Some of the products in this line are probably better, but in this case it seems they were trying to get by with her image & shape of the compact. Until Sephora came up with this line, I never used their products. Drugstore brands like Revlon's Color Stay 12 hour Eye Shadow Quads have way more staying power.
