I actually found this in a basket of skin care stuff someone left on top of our recycling dumpster! Most things were sealed, including a pack of towelettes. I grabbed some items, including this. It looked expensive from the packaging. It's not something I'd buy new for myself, and I even even heard of the brand. I wanted to see what the fuss about facial oils is about. I was sure it would be some greasy mess! Not so...1 or 2 drops is all you need to make your skin soft and smooth. I've used it around the lines under my eyes and at the corners of my mouth. I let it sink it, then apply moisturizer and make up. The oil smooths out my lines and seems to minimize my foundation "settling" into my lines. I've been using it daily for over a month now, and I'd definitely recommend it to someone. It is just part of my morning routine, since nobody sees my skin while I'm sleeping, LOL. I'm 56 with dry skin, lines, and lots of spots. :-( The fragrance is sublte, kind of citrusy-pine like. Be careful not to tip the bottle over, as it's pretty easy to do.

Be careful if you have sensitive skin. Like another member said somewhere, she read Paula Begoun's rave review on this. I was so eager to see results that I used this nightly at first even though it will take months to see results, usually. On certain parts of my face, like cheeks & chin, I broke out in a FEW, tiny, red pimples. They went away in a couple of days. I also felt my eyes sting a bit when applying it near my eyes even though I did NOT get any of it actually in my eyes. Anyway, I've been using this now for about 3 months, and I do see the lines on my forehead and around my eyes much less noticeable. I like how concentrated the product is, in that a "little goes a long way" since it comes in a small tube. I'm definitely going to buy this again, but I use it every other night now. And only on parts of my face that really need it, like where the lines & brown spots are. No more breakouts either. Update 1/14/17: I see I wrote this years ago. Well, retinol is now listed LAST as an ingredient which I noticed after purchasing 2 for the price of l recently. I'm sure it was listed closer to the top before or I wouldn't have had those results in smoother skin that I had! So I changed the 9 star rating to 5. It's a decent moisturizer, but I noticed it no longer "tingles" like it used to since it's a weaker formula. I will use these up but be on a mission to find another retinol product......

I think this is the same product I have, as the picture looks like my item. It doesn't come in a clamshell case or anything. There are multiple results here and mine just says "Colorsensational", nothing about "shine" or "matt" or what not. I got it in Blissful Berry, and it was an "impulse" buy. I was getting Maybelline foundation, and they had one of those "Buy 1, Get 1 50% off", so I got the lipstick 50% off. My lipsticks are getting old anyway. I love the color, but it fades quickly. So if you talk a lot, such as working in a call center, you'll have to keep it handy to touch up every half hour or more. It wears off easily on my mug while drinking coffee too. It has a light fragrance that I like, strong enough to detect yet not overpowering. It also feels moisturizing, which I like since my lips are dry. In spite of its fading, there's oddly still some color left to remove at the end of the day..... It's an okay lipstick for a quick errand, like if you're just picking up your dry cleaning and washing your car for example. But don't eat/drink things or talk too much or that lipstick will disappear. Looks like this lipstick has been around awhile from the dates of these reviews. I never heard of it before but I don't buy cosmetics now unless I run out of something or it's clearly past its prime.

I was going to wait for a sale on this, but I was eager to try it because of their claims. I like the tube container instead of a pump. I'd give it 10 stars if it had 2 things: The minimum SPF of 15, and if it was a tad thinner....It goes on thick, so a little goes a long way. It sets quickly so blend it ASAP. I use Natural Beige, and it blends right into my skin looking like I don't have make up on. It feels a bit drying or dry. I'm 54 with dry skin, so I exfoliate and moisturize well first. Let it set but not too long, as I need the moisture to blend this foundation. Otherwise, I like the medium coverage to hide my dozens of brown spots, it doesn't seem to settle into my lines too much, and it seems to hold up all day including during a sweaty gym workout. I was afraid it would emphasize my dry areas, but it won't if I moisturize well. But I can't use a "primer" under it! THAT makes my face look like I'm wearing a mask. I found it easy to remove, unlike BP, by using Neutrogena's make up remover cloths. That removes 99% of it easily, then I use my cleanser. Anyway, being that there IS something left at the end of the day, it is holding up rather than fading. This seems like it would be good for humid days, or hot days when you don't want that "melting makeup" feeling! P.S. I AM using paragraph breaks for easier reading but it may not post that way......:-(

I've heard so much hype about "mineral" makeup so I decided to try the "skin care make up". Although it covers pretty well, it has a thick, chalky texture that makes me dry, flaky, sensitive, aging skin look worse! (Yes, I always moisturize first) Even when I applied the tiniest amount possible, it does not spread smoothly or evenly. I paid about $50 for this. Maybe the shade was a little too light, and that could have made the dryness more visible. Still, I don't plan to get it again. In order to use it up, I use it on my arms and legs. Expensive is not always better. My $10 foundations from Revlon are far superior to this. Other brands of mineral makeup may be better, but I am not too eager to try another at this point..

Like its name, the shadow is long-lasting. This is the first time I've used one with a built-in primer, and it seems to do its job. But the texture is a bit flaky, as I apply it, for me. Also, I could use less sparkle/glitter. I got the "Mink Brown - 50" combo, and I only got it to replace another quad I liked (another brand) that was discontinued. Plus, the idea of built-in primer appealed to me. Don't get this particular color combo if you don't like shimmer. All 4 shades are glittery in it. I tone it down a bit by applying a light layer of matte shadow.

I know this doesn't have as much sunscreen as it should, but I stay out of the sun now and wear a wide-brimmed hat, or I use an umbrella! This is a good thing to use when you want some color and moisture, without the heavier feeling of lipstick, say on a hot & humid day. The fragrance is a bit strong for me, and it's not supposed to be good for your skin. That probably goes for lips too. The colors ARE darker than they appear in the tube, so keep that in mind. It is expensive for lip balm, so I just have one tube of it. I agree with another poster that the oval shape makes it easier to apply in corners without bleeding out.

NO reviews yet? Well, I'll be the first. :-) I was almost out of concealer when I got this, and it was on sale. First, there's no ingredient list and nothing about what it is supposed to DO: Cover dark circles, reduce puffiness, etc. And there's a scary warning label about it being FLAMMABLE until dry! What the heck? Something you put on your face is flammable? Thin, watery texture that doesn't even cover or correct anything, even using two coats! Shaking it doesn't help either. Also, the tube is much darker than the actual shade, so get a tube at least 2 shades darker than what you want. ("Medium" is way lighter than expected) For this reason, the shade I have is way too light for me. It's too late to return it, but I'm not getting it again and would not recommend it to anyone. Even with the sale price, it was a waste of money. I expected better from L'oreal, as I've used and liked many of their products. But they missed the boat on this one. Next time, I'll read reviews, esp. from "Cosmetics Cop" Paula Begoun. (Even though I sometimes don't agree with her either)

I read the rave review of this on Beautypedia. It's hard to find a good concealer. I got the Neutral/Light-Medium shade. First, is it Neutral OR Light/Medium? Confusing shade name. Never saw that on a product before. I like how the brush applicator allows me to target my brown spots, of which I have many like a leopard. But it takes 2 layers, and even then it doesn't last too long. Also, too much product comes out each time, so I have to wipe the excess off on the edge of the tube. I think the shade is too light, but the others are too dark for me. I was almost out of concealer, and this was on sale. So I decided to try it. But it's too late to return it. I won't get it again.

I'm 53 with dry skin. I've never used a primer before, and I wondered what the hype was. This was an impulse buy for me, since it was right next to the L'oreal foundations of course. It's expensive for such a tiny jar. First, I use my moisturizer, as instructed if you have dry skin. I use a tiny spatula to get the product out. Being so thick, like spackle, it's hard to spread evenly. Once it does, it smoothes out the lines beautifully. BUT the effect is only temporary. About 2 hours later, both the foundation and primer has settled into my lines, making my face look like a Google roadmap. This works if you're going to be out for a short period of time, so that's why I gave it 4 stars. It does make my makeup stay on longer than usual. But it doesn't hold up in hot weather, and I live in a hot, dry climate. I agree with the member who said she's not joining the choir that sings the praises. Me either. This product got a rave review on Paula Begoun's web site, Beautypedia. Sorry, Paula...I don't agree.
