I, unfortunately, see it as a unnecessary step. This is a nice one, though. It doesn't make me break out and is easy to blend. It's not too shimmery and looks nice, but I don't think my face looks noticeably brighter. Very subtle, if that's your thing. I like the marshmallow applicator, but it's kinda hard to get the product on it sometimes. Can't complain about the price either.

This is very reasonably priced, and even if its small--its great because its portable and you're supposed to change mascaras every few months anyways. It keeps your lashes curled, thickens them, and only clumps somewhat. It's also long lasting and doesn't flake or irritate eyes. Unfortunately, I don't know if this is the problem with just mines but it has this very chemical smell that I don't like.

At first sniff, this treatment is very spicy and herb-like. Since I have long, elbow length hair--I used a little under 1/5 of a pot for it and smothered my hair in it, put it up in a bun, and let it set for half an hour. It's very easy to rinse out, and it's not extremely thick either. After washing it off, wow! My hair is scented a nice mellow yet still noticeable scent that lasted for days. My hair feels softer, and has more body and shine. What a great product! I just wish that you didn't have to use so much, but it's entirely worth it because the effects are long term--rather than just loading your hair down with silicons for a temporary effect. A good tip would be to keep it in the fridge because there are little preservatives, and eggs in it. Yet another wonderful product from Lush!

You get a big ol' 11 oz tub of this for about $20. If you compare it to department store masks, its a MASSIVE deal. (I'm talking about those masks that are 4 oz for like...about the same price) It's a pretty hefty tub, and it's very minty but not so minty that it hurts. The consistency resembles that of mint chocolate chip ice cream, its VERY thick with little pieces of gentle exfoliant in it. When smeared all over your face, it feels kind of cold and refreshing too. (just like ice cream, only not that cold) The thickness makes a tub last forever, but the problem is that it only has a 4 month shelf life--so once you buy it, don't be afraid to use it as much as possible! It's very exfoliating when you rub it on and wash it off, yet not irritating whatsoever. My skin feels very soft after using it, and deep cleans my face so my acne and pores look much better, and keeps my face oil-free for the rest of the day.

Wow when I bought the little box that houses this, I didn't know what to expect. I thought it would be bigger from the...you know, online product picture. This comes in the cutest bottle for $13. You only need to dab it onto problem spots and the next day, it reduces it significantly. The only problem is, it stings! But surprisingly, it doesn't flake out my skin. Stars off for stinging and a small amount, even if it does last you a few months if you always have at least one or two pimples like me. (it treats, not prevents)

Okay, obviously, I thought a cleansing oil was going to make me break out with the intensity of Krakatoa. Boy, was I wrong. This oil smells very earthy and citrusy, and makes washing your face a joy. You first rub the oil all over your face (!) and then wash it with warm water then rinse. Sounds crazy, right? But the end result is a soft, clean face void of all traces of makeup--even waterproof mascara or gel eyeliner. No breakouts, and it doesn't make your face oily at all, as one might think. It's totally worth the money because you can skip all makeup removers, and it lasts forever. Origins is a wonderful company with great ethics, making this a flawless cleanser which you can feel good buying. My only beef is that you must be careful when pouring it out, because it lacks a stopper of any sort.

I have fair skin with yellow undertones, and most bronzers tend to look straight up brown and make my face look dirty and greasy. This bronzer is perfect in that it lasts a long time, controls oil, blends well and layers well if you want a darker look. It's VERY natural, and isn't laden with shimmer like most bronzers. The price is kind of expensive, BUT it will last very long considering that you usually don't need a lot. The little brush is really cute, and the compact is gorgeous. The most natural bronzer out there, so give it a try if you have a difficult time finding a good one.

In this modern looking compact is 3 glosses and a double sided brush. The colours are excellent for layering, and have no smell or taste. They're not sticky, and have a little shine but a lot of colour--just like their claims, woohoo! It really is long lasting, but don't expect it to be there in its finest after a meal, although the colour still remains but the shine is visibly reduced. It can stand up pretty well if you don't eat or drink from a cup, though. The mirror is big and the brush is great. A star off because it's mighty pricey ($28, woah!) and another because I like things to be perfect and so I want it to have SPF. (sue me) But an overall great lip colour in a handy compact!

This is a great, non-creasing, long-lasting eyeshadow. It comes in a sleek case with 2 colours, one for your creases and an all-over lid shade. The shadows are never extremely opaque, but show up pretty well, making them excellent for everybody and all occasions. I bought "rose wine", which is a light, light pink and medium mauve colour. They faded a small bit throughout the course of the day, but still retained their colour. The shadows also blend extremely well, and only have a very minuscule amount of shimmer which is enough to look nice, but not like a disco queen/king.

Clinique products never cease to amaze and this is no exception. The colour I got was "pink blush". It's very, very natural looking and I think it's nearly impossible to make yourself look clownish with it. You can build it up for a more dramatic flush, but it will never scream "HEY GUYS, I'M WEARING BLUSH" Also, it controls oil in your cheeks--making it great for all sorts of complexions. It lasts very long even on oily skin, and never looks like its sitting on top of your cheeks like some powders. A star off for being pricey, but it's totally worth it because it'll last you forever. Good work, Clinique!
