I just adore Paul Mitchell. Their company ethics and product quality and price are just perfect. This conditioner is pretty cheap for a salon brand, about $10 for a 10 oz bottle. The conditioner is a little tough to squeeze out since it's pretty concentrated, but that's not too big of a problem. It smells light and pleasant, and it doesn't weigh your hair down at all--but keeps it soft, smooth, and shiny. I have to keep my hair very healthy, because mines goes around my elbows and this does the job just fine.

I got this 2 for $20 at Trade Secret, and I have to say it's perfect. It has UV filters making it great for sunophobes, and adds body and shine. I have naturally straight straight hair, but when I style it into waves--this holds it so well that I wonder if I used a curling iron instead of braiding it like I always do! It's never scrunchy or wet looking, and holds insanely strong yet still looks natural. You get a big honkin bottle that I'm sure will last a long time. Also it's ozone friendly, and Paul Mitchell's business ethics are superb. The only downside is the cap is a bit hard to get off and the smell is strange yet not unpleasant.

Ah, ginger. My most dreaded enemy in beef and broccoli. Surprisingly, I love The Body Shop's ginger line. This is a thick body cream that smells so good, moisturizes well, and doesn't leave me slippery or greasy. The smell isn't too strong and I just love the texture. I have extremely dry, eczema prone skin so this won't be enough to replace my normal, unsexy medicine-type lotion but it is nice for those unlike me. I got mines on sale for $10. I wish it wasn't limited edition and that it had some SPF, but hey--nothings perfect.

Be careful to keep your fingers clean before and after application, to avoid transferring germs into your jar--because this will last so long that it's insane. I use it to moisturize my lips, but also for dry spots on my body. It's a bit greasy, so I would beware using it on your face aside from your lips. The faint rose smell is also very pleasant, and I love the vintage packaging.

I just adore The Body Shop. Their quality and ethics are always a major selling point for me--and their prices. This bath cream smells great--a soft ginger that isn't too wimpy but doesn't linger. I got this on sale, and it lasts forever. Well, of course, I use mines as a shower gel because I can't take baths (blood pressure, fainting, blah blah) It's creamy, but if you have dry skin like me--follow up with a lotion.

I used a tiny travel-sized bottle of this to hold me over until I bought some more hair spray from the mall. It's pretty cheap and works fine. The smell is well...normal, chemical hair spray scent. It's not sticky, nor does it impart crunch into my hair. It's not so good as a working hair spray for scrunching your hair and I wish the hold was stronger, but it's not bad overall. My hair still had it's style, but it was noticeably more deflated by the end of the day.

These are cheap, and sturdy. They hold very strong and don't shift--I think all women who put their hair up should have some of these. Not much else to say besides they're perfect.

My hair is about to my elbows, and everyone with long hair knows it LOVES to break when it's that long since it's older near the tips. I use this every Sunday, and it keeps away dead ends, and makes my hair strong and shiny. You get a 6 oz tube for about $15 in the US, and it has a nice smell and super thick consistency so you don't have to squeeze out a whole bunch--plus the cap design is really neat!. (I would avoid applying a lot on your roots)

For $20, this--at first glance--seems pricey. But once you realize you only need about a nickel sized amount to cover your entire face, it is worth every dollar. (Plus you only use it once or twice a week) This doesn't dry out or irritate my face, nor does it sting like a particular drugstore mint mask. It deep cleans my pores, and you can tell. My face is clearer, my breakouts are lessened, redness is diminished. An added bonus is that it smells pretty...minty? Menthol? But whatever it is, it's refreshing. After a week of makeup daily, this is the perfect thing to cap off with and to get your skin back into balance.

This is the perfect lotion. It moisturizes well without being greasy, has SPF 15 (again, without being greasy), and no fragrance so it doesn't interfere with whatever else you might have on. It's very cheap for a huge bottle, and you can buy a tube of it to keep in your purse to reapply throughout the day. I would not use anything else.
