Eyebrow pencils can be tricky, especially when finding the right color so it looks natural and just enhances what you are already working with. I love the Revlon Brow Fantasy Pencil and Gel. It has a two step application process: First, pencil in brow color with short, light strokes following the natural direction of brow hair growth. Next, brush sheer-tint gel through brows and let set. Removes easily with eye make-up remover and sharpens with universal points sharpener. There are several shades to choose from to get that perfect match too!

I have been pretty loyal to a particular eye liner brand but I decided to go off the grid and try something new. I like a liquid eye liner because it lasts a long time but I still want something I can smudge and blend for a softer look. Well I found just that in the Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen. I used Copper Glow because I love my browns to compliment my blue eyes but they have a great array of colors to choose from. Pixi’s pens contain skin-soothing vitamin E and natural mineral pigments and are very easy to apply. They are paraben-free, mineral oil-free, preservative-free and hypoallergenic. How much more could you ask for in an eye liner?

If you color treat your hair (and let’s be honest ladies, most of us do), you have to make sure you take special care to keep your color vibrant, shiny and your hair hydrated. For 3 minutes one to two times a week, you can achieve all of that! The Frederic Fekkai Technician Color Care Mask was an accidental find that I cannot live without.

I decided to try a new makeup primer because well, that’s what I love to do – shake up my skincare and makeup routine. I was pleasantly surprised by the Hourlgass Makeup Veil Mineral Primer because it is very light. Many other primers can be thick and I worry they just clog my pores. The Hourglass primer makes my skin smooth and soft – the perfect base for my foundation. I highly recommend this product for a flawless look! It may be a little pricier than most primers but trust me, a little goes a long way so it is well worth the investment.

Ok, ok – I know I am a little late to the party on these but I have been very loyal to my lipstick brand so it took me a minute to venture onto something new. Since everyone I knew was raving about the Clinique Chubby Sticks, I thought I would give it a try. I purchased two shades – Mega Melon and Richer Raisin – and I must say, I loved both shades! The Mega Melon is a soft pinky-orange shade and gives your lips a fresh pop of color. The Richer Raisin is a more like a Merlot shade for when you want to make a serious statement. As far as the stick itself, the color is sheer which is great for a daytime look or when you just need a quick lip color refresher. So if you are looking for a rich, dark color, the chubby sticks would not be my first choice. The stick is very easy to use, it glides on well, is very portable, not messy, has a great gloss to it and also had the bonus of moisturizing my lips. The color is not what I would call long-lasting – it will not say on your lips as you drink your morning coffee – but reapplying is easy and fast when needed. I highly recommend the chubby stick in both the colors I selected above.

Finally, finally, finally I have found a concealer that covers very stubborn dark spots (specifically acne) and stays on all day without creasing or drying out. And this concealer would be (drum roll please)… Tarte’s Maracuja Creaseless Concealer! I tried this concealer after much research and pouring over reviews from women like you to find what would be best to cover dark circles, even skin tone and not dry out and crease half way through the day. The consistency is thicker than most and it may be a little more expensive but you need very little to do the job. Tarte won my heart and I would recommend this concealer to anyone.

This is one of my absolute favorite cleansers! I discovered it by accident while looking for something new and fresh a few years ago. Other cleansers made my face dry and tight or did not completely remove make-up. This one works and is not made with harsh cleansing chemicals. A spa for your face!
