I would have to say that 75% of women color their hair. And those are just the ones that are telling the truth! So whether you are an “out there” hair color fanatic or a closet one, protecting your color as long as possible is critical to keeping that salon look and saving money – trips to the salon are not cheap! I have tried many color protecting shampoos and Nexxus Color Assure products worked best for me. To preserve your color even longer, don’t wash your hair every day. In between shampoos, just rinse your hair with warm water or use a dry shampoo and style as usual.

Let’s face it (no pun intended), it takes a plan and some work to stay looking young, radiant and beautiful! This cuticle remover from Sally Hansen is a bonus ‘two-fer”. Made with white tea and cucumber it removes dry cuticles AND moisturizes. Great for those times you cannot get to the salon or in-between manicures. Keep those cuticles looking cute!

I have fairly thin hair so the tangling becomes a real problem. Guessing it happens for those with thick hair too. This product I found by accident when I ran out of my regular leave-in conditioner and was at my salon getting my nails done. Sooo happy the salon recommended this product to me because I have never switched back to my old brand. UNITE 7 Condition Leave-In Detangler is so light (and smells really good) that it does not weigh my hair down like other leave-ins while also doing its “detangling thing”. Thanks for a great product UNITE!

I am obsessed with this product! The LaLicious Sugar Kiss Super Scrub is one of the best body scrubs I have ever used. It not only exfoliates your skin, but leaves it feeling silky smooth and hydrated, which is unique because many scrubs make your skin feel dry and tight. And the bonus is that this scrub is made with natural ingredients and smells so delicious!

I do admit I am drawn to brown neutral shades for daytime because they make my blue eyes pop! However, it is difficult to find shades that don’t look drab in a matte shade or don’t sparkle too much that you look like you are ready for dinner meeting instead of a staff meeting. Jemma Kidd’s Eye Color Quartet in Brown have the perfect shades that blend well together and work perfect for daytime. To easily transition to a nighttime look, you can mix the darker brown shade with the gold and apply it to the lid or crease for a more dramatic look. And the “rubbery” case was a bonus for me – no more cases cracking or breaking when dropped (you know it happens). There are also several different color palettes too that are great for any eye color so buy them all!

We all would love that beach-inspired, sun-kissed, surf-swept look without putting in a lot of effort. The best way to achieve that look is to use a sea salt spray as part of your styling routine to give you the volume you need for that “undone” look. One of the best products I have tried is John Masters Organics – Sea Mist Sea Salt Spray with Lavender. This product is actually a triple threat – great product that does its job, is affordable (about $17) and does not damage color-treated hair. I am all about using organic products as much as possible too so John Masters products do the trick.
