It has a gel consistency and absorbs very well. Good primer for the price. Great "drugstore" deal!

We often only think of exfoliating our face to remove dead skin cells that may clog pores. However, it is just as important to exfoliate the rest of our body to keep that soft, healthy glow and improve the body’s ability to absorb moisture for ongoing hydration. There are many body scrubs on the market these days and I have tried a lot! I find many very harsh to the touch and exfoliation should NOT be painful. A great product I have used lately is Bliss Spa’s Vanilla + Bergamot Body Buff and it is wonderful! It has a sweet vanilla-almond scent and is infused with shea butter so it not only exfoliates, but also hydrates the skin to leave it soft and smooth. I suggest exfoliating the body at least once or twice a week and before applying any self-tanners to remove dead skin and prevent spots and streaking.

There are several heat treating devices out there to attack blemishes when they first start appearing. Those have worked fairly well for me but I found a new device that uses the blue-light technology that dermatologists use to destroy the bacteria on the surface of your skin without drying it out. We all want every trick in the book (or bottle) to make our hair color last because let’s admit it, touch-ups are expensive and time consuming even if we LOVE going to the salon :-) I have used hair sprays, gels and pomades that claim UV protection but nothing seemed to work as well as Aveda’s Sun Care Protective Hair Veil. I have used it since my last color about 4 months ago and I can 100% notice that my color has faded less than it has in the past. I apply a few sprays while my hair is still damp and you can apply after styling as well. Invest in your hair ladies and buy this product now!

Ladies, it is essential we keep our feet soft and pretty because dry and cracked feet are not a cute look. Bath and Body Works has the best foot scrub as part of their True Blue Spa line. I use right in the shower about once a week, especially around the heel area. Not only does this keep my feet smooth, it is very soothing after a long day in heels!

I am a big believer in hydrating the skin. Hydration hides cellulite and keeps the scaly, dry look away. This is especially important in the summer when we ladies show more skin.
