  • Avon In Bloom by Reese Witherspoon Eau de Parfum Spray

Bought this hoping for a wonderful Southern belle sort of fragrance... I'm kind of disappointed. Initially, it smells like Gardenia/Magnolia with just a tiny bit of jasmine and ambery musk. Not really my style, but I thought it might grow on me. However an hour or two it just smells like cheap perfume--a little musky. PROS: Cute bottle. CONS: A bit spendy for the quality. Doesn't last long. Fades into a cheap, generic scent. This is going on the swap list. :( I'm really really disappointed in this fragrance.

  • bareMinerals Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush

I really like this brush for undereye circles. It's not too big, and not too small. Although it is a bit expensive, it's a nice brush, with soft bristles. Would I repurchase it? I'm not sure. Ecotools makes some nice concealer brushes that aren't quite as expensive, as do many other brands. I think that while this is a great brush, you'll be able to find a cheaper dupe.

Clean & Clear Makeup Removing Cleanser

Didn't do much for removing makeup on my face...

But this is an excellent brush cleanser! Really, it didn't seem to remove makeup on my face very well (and I almost chucked it), but it got my makeup brushes super clean. The fragrance is a bit strong, and the packaging is a bit annoying (why is the spout slanted up? It makes it difficult to press). But the price is right, and it's readily available. No more expensive brush cleanser for me--I'm getting this stuff!

  • Stila Natural Finish Oil-Free Makeup

This gives me medium coverage. The sample I received was too light (Shade C, and I'm NC30ish in MAC). At first it feels a little heavy like sunscreen, but it dries down to a nice smooth slightly powdery finish. It's a decent product, but way overpriced. It's not even one fluid ounce! There are plenty of other decent foundations out there.

  • EcoTools Bamboo Powder Brush

I talked my mom into buying a set of Ecotools brushes for her loose mineral foundation, because the department store brushes were just too expensive. She absolutely loved how soft it was, yet so inexpensive! I've purchased one for myself as well, and it's one of my favorite brushes. I love the density of the bristles, the soft feel, the fact that they're made without animal hair (which is usually scratchy), and sustainable materials. I highly recommend these brushes to anyone and everyone, especially if you are looking for a good brush set--ecotools makes a few!

    M.A.C. Eye Shadow

    Great products overall!

I own several MAC eyeshadows and love them all! My particular favorites right now are Shroom and Patina. The pigmentation is good, the lasting power is good, and there are TONS of great colors! My only gripe is that some of the colors are drugstore dupeable, and the packaging isn't my favorite.

    Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow/Liner

I have this in Skinny Jeans, and it is HG for me!

I own Benefit Creaseless Cream shadow/liner in three colors: Gossip, Skinny Jeans, and Recess. Gossip and Recess are nice neutrals without shimmer. Skinny Jeans is a gorgeous dark pewtery taupe with shimmer. All three are great, and none of them crease on me! The pigmentation is great, the price is decent (one little jar will last you a long time). I will definitely be repurchasing this product!

  • Origins Matte Scientist Oil Controlling Lotion

Got a sample of this from the Origins store (not many things work for my incredibly oily skin, and I get nervous about products causing breakouts, since I finished a course of Accutane not that long ago). PROS: Doesn't break me out/clog pores. CONS: Expensive (small 1. 7 fl oz bottle for $25). Strong smell. Doesn't keep me matte at all. Hate the little bottle with a twist off lid--you can buy a pump for $1 though. I'm really glad I didn't buy this product, because it doesn't work for me.

  • Clinique High Impact Mascara
    8.0

    Clinique High Impact Mascara

    My favorite mascara

It lengthens, it volumizes, it doesn't smudge, it doesn't flake...what more could a gal ask for? (Well, actually, I wish it didn't cost $18!!) Worth the money? Until I find a cheaper mascara that rocks as much as Clinique High Impact, I'll keep coming back to it.

  • Sebastian Whipped Creme
    4.0

    Sebastian Whipped Creme

    Fun but not functional.

PROS: It does look like whipped cream! CONS: It smells like Play-Doh. Seriously. I can't get over the smell, and it doesn't fade that much--I keep getting a whiff of it throughout the day! It's a nice but not fantastic product. And I think it may have been causing some little breakouts on my face. Even though my hair is a bit wavy, this doesn't maintain or enhance my waves at all--it actually seems to flatten them! I don't think I'd repurchase.
