I don't believe I've ever reviewed a body wash so today I want to share with you my all time favorite body wash brand; which is Caress. Time and time again I re-purchase this body wash for the simple fact that it is amazing, and literally no other body wash brand can compare to it. The Caress line not only comes in liquid form, but also in bars as well; I've never tried the bars of soap so I will only be talking about their liquid body wash. They come in 3 different categories which are Exfoliating, Silkening, and Fine Fragrance. I've tried several Caress body washes from each category and I love them all. The exfoliating, silkening and fine fragrance line all moisturize the skin, leave the skin feeling clean yet refreshed, and give your skin a healthy glow to it. I would recommend any of these body washes, depending on which fragrance you prefer and whether you need/want exfoliation: Evenly Gorgeous --The exfoliation comes from brown sugar and karite butter. Tahitian Renewal -- The exfoliation comes from pomegranate seeds and Tahitian palm milk. Daily Silk -- Contains white peach and silk blossom. Glowing Touch -- Contains Shea cream and skin brighteners. Endless Kiss -- Contains creamy vanilla, sandalwood, and moisture beads. Velvet Bliss -- Contains blackberry and vanilla infused with silk fragrances. Passionate Spell -- Contains the scent of passion-fruit and fiery orange rose. Sheer Twilight -- Contains black orchid and juniper oil. Scarlet Blossom -- Contains red lychee and patchouli. I believe I've tried almost all of them, and I generally will alternate or switch between a few because the scent of each line is amazing and quite honestly I have a hard time picking just one! Not only does my body feel so smooth, the lovely scent lingers way after you take a shower but it's so subtle that it wont bother even the most sensitive person. I generally buy the Caress body wash at my local target, which retails for $3.99 for an 18 ounce bottle; it is pretty affordable for the size of the container (and definitely worth it). This body was can also be purchased at local drugstores such as Walgreen's and CVS.

Several months ago I received a small Nivea Lotion sample from Target, which I absolutely loved so I am planning to purchase a full size very soon! The lotion is Nivea Express Hydration Daily lotion, its active ingredient is Hydra IQ, which is supposed to balance the skin's moisture level throughout the day. It is a very light weight formula that absorbs into the body fairly quickly, without leaving any greasy residue behind! A small amount of product is really all you need to feel that sudden hydration on your skin! The lotion has a very silky texture and it applies very smoothly, and once it dries it is not sticky or greasy at all! Immediately upon using this lotion, you will feel a sudden change in your skin, even the driest spots will become a bit smoother and over time be completely soft! It does have a scent which is very light and floral, in fact the scent listed on the bottle is "Lotus Flower." It is not overpowering at all, and what I love about it is that the light scent lingers throughout the day! I do find myself wanting to apply this lotion throughout the day, not necessarily because it is needed, but because I love the scent so much! I am already a big time fan of Nivea lotions, particularly their Nivea Creme in a little blue tin! I actually reviewed it last year, you can click here to check it out! I am now addicted to the Nivea Express Hydration Daily lotion especially on those winter months when my hands and legs are super dry and I need that extra boost of moisture. I would recommend this product to everyone, if you have normal skin a little product will go a long way, if you have dry skin this will provide plenty of moisture for you! The full size product comes in in a 8. 4 Fl. oz container, priced around $4.99; it is available at all drugstores, such as Target, Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, etc.

I've tried my fair share of mascaras in my lifetime, most of which are drugstore and very affordable! As you all know Wet n Wild is one of my favorite affordable drugstore cosmetics brand, from their shadows, their polishes, to lip products, I love them all. So I decided to purchase one of their mascara, the Mega Protein Mascara, retails for less than $2.00. I believe I have the old packaging (someone correct me if I am wrong) simply because on their website their bottle is green. Nonetheless, I did not like this mascara as soon as I tried it for a few reasons. The main reason is that the wand is very small and sort of thin which all it does is place mascara onto your lashes -- what I look for in a mascara is some sort of lengthening or volume, which this mascara does none of the above. In addition, the formula is very wet and it takes about 5 minutes (minimum) to dry, which is a big NO NO in my life because I'm always on the run and do not have time to wait for mascara to dry. Here's what WnW claims: "Nourishing mascara conditions lashes with soy & wheat proteins and acai oil for healthier, fuller lashes." Unfortunately I did not notice any difference in my lashes, in terms of healthier or fuller, and I've been using this mascara for about a month. Overall, if you're just looking for a product to place mascara on your lashes then go ahead and give this a try, but if you're looking for volume, thickness, length, generally items that a mascara is supposed to offer, then I encourage you to pass this one up.

I wanted to share with you my current favorite top coat which is the Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top Coat. I love this top and base coat for many reasons, the first being that it is very affordable, it's around $4.58, and it can be purchase at all major drugstores (as well as online). For less than $5.00 you not only get a top coat but a base coat as well, using a base coat is very important (in my opinion) because it allows an even base for the nail polish. The concept is very similar to applying a face primer, well my nail polishes have been able to glide on very easily with this product, and the polish has been lasting a lot longer when using this as a base and a top coat, vs not using anything at all. What I also love about it, is that it makes my nails super strong and chip resistant which is what Sally Hansen claims with this product. This base/top coat is actually formulated with Nylon and Pro-Vitamin B5 which create a shield on your nails, providing shine and strength at the same time! I love Sally Hansen Nail "Care" products, in fact about a year ago I was using their Daily Nail Growth Program which worker WONDERS! Overall, I highly recommend purchasing the Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top Coat, it is great for keeping your nails looking and feeling strong and healthy, but at the same time it works great with having your nail polish last for a long time! If you're looking to save money on a base coat and top coat I suggest checking out your local drugstore for this amazing product, i

A little over 2 months ago I finally made the plunge to purchase a high end foundation, which was the Urban Decay NAKED SKIN Foundation. I've been hesitant to purchase a high end foundation because of the price tag....this one was $39 plus tax (for a 1 fl oz bottle). You may be wondering why I wanted to purchase a high end foundation if so many drugstore foundations are good enough, well if you remember my post last year on My LOVE HATE Relationship With Drugstore Foundation and how I never find a shade that actually matches, well this prompted my interest in high end foundations! This particular foundation has different shades geared towards different skin undertones so I believe anyone from different skin colors can find a perfect shade! I swatched some of the colors in Sephora and was able to find a perfect match instantly! The Urban Decay NAKED SKIN Foundation formula is a bit liquidy but it applies so effortlessly and literally glides on the face in a few simple dabs/strokes. The formula is a mixture between matte and dewy so in my opinion it really gives you this natural fresh look. The foundation dries fairly quickly and makes the skin feel super soft, I do feel that because it dries fairly quickly I did have to work the blending a bit faster than some other foundations that I've tried. Also, the foundation does last pretty much all day long while looking at good as it did when you first applied it. The foundation does have a very strong scent to it, it does fade once the foundation is applied and dried, but unfortunately some of the ingredients in the foundation and/or fragrance irritated my skin and caused a few breakouts so I ultimately made the decision to return the foundation after i realized it caused a reaction on me. I am disappointed because the foundation looked great on me (formula, application, color selection) but I'm not going to use a foundation that breaks me out. Do I recommend this foundation? Absolutely YES 100% but I recommend you visit your local Sephora and get a small sample (something I did not do) so you can test out the formula, the color, and ultimately if it agrees with your skin then it's worth the price tag. I do have sensitive skin so ultimately this did not work out for me, but everyone's skin is different and many people haven't had a reaction from it.

I received Hydroxatone Anti-Aging BB Cream about a month ago, to try out and I was very excited because I haven't tested out any BB creams...at all! This particular BB cream comes in a very convenient 1. 5 fl oz squeeze tube, which I totally like and can appreciate the packaging! Here's are Hydroxatone's claims on this BB cream: "Hydroxatone Anti-Aging BB Cream with Broad Spectrum SPF 40 Sunscreen is your all-in-one multi-tasking perfecting cream . It hydrates, conceals, protects, reduces the look of aging and brightens skin in just one step. BB cream is also known as Beauty Balm or Blemish Balm and is recently among Asia's hottest beauty products." I have to first mention that I can't really say whether its anti-aging claims are true or not simply because I'm at an age where I'm just now starting to take preventative actions towards aging, meaning I don't quite have wrinkles but I am noticing my face is not as youthful as it was a few years ago. However, I do appreciate that this BB cream does have SPF 40 sunscreen, it is very important to me so I am happy that it eliminates one extra step of applying SPF. This BB cream is very thick it actually feels like a foundation and honestly I was surprised because I really thought a BB cream is supposed to be very light and almost like a tinted moisturizer. Unfortunately it was too thick for my liking, I am a very light foundation wearer and cannot see myself wearing such a thick BB cream on my face on a daily basis. Because this BB cream is very thick, a little bit of product is really all that you need, therefore if you apply way too much it actually makes it hard to blend it and you end up with streaks. In addition, I have combination skin (this BB cream is for all skin types) but I found that it was a bit too drying for my dry spots which created dry patches especially around nose (which is the driest part of my face). What I did love about this BB cream is the coverage, it eliminated any redness from my face, covered up pores and imperfections, almost like a really good concealer. It honestly did make my face look smoother, brighter, more vibrant, and basically flawless (aside from the dry spots). It did take a few minutes to completely dry, but once it did, it made my face feel super soft. Would I purchase this BB cream in the future? No, because it's too thick and drying for me, however I do recommend this BB cream to oily skin gals, and for those who do want full coverage and don't mind wearing a thick BB cream/foundation.

The ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzer Duo has been my go to bronzer/blush for the past several years, I simply love it! This particular compact is priced at only $3.00, it is such an amazing deal because you get two products for a ridiculous low price! It comes in three different colors: 1) St. Lucia 2) Antigua 3) Turks & Caicos, you can see below the different color variations: The blush and bronzer both have a slight shimmer in it, but it is so minimal that it is not very noticeable on the skin although the bronzer does look more matte compared to the blush which has a tad bit more shimmer. What I love about this duo is that the color is easily build-able, a little bit of product does go a long way and the product is very smooth which makes it easy to apply without any effort. The ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzer Duo lasts all day long on the skin and it looks amazing at the end of the day just as it did when you first applied it. I've read online that the St. Lucia duo is highly comparable to the NARS blush/bronzer duo in Org asm -- I can't compare because I've never tried NARS but it's awesome that many people are comparing a $41 blush/bronzer to a $3.00 duo!! Overall, I love the ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzer Duo in both St. Lucia and Antigua; I believe all three duos will work work for any skin-color simply because the product is manageable meaning that you can apply a little bit and keep working the product in if you desire a deeper color.
