On my most recent trip to Target I purchased a new deodorant which was the Secret Deodorant Scent Expressions Fresh & Fabulous in the scent Cocoa Butter Kiss (the invisible solid), which retailed for about $3.50. I generally use Secret Deodorant but always lean towards the powdered scent, but what intrigued me to buy this particular one was the sweet scent, the idea of cocoa butter just sold me immediately! The Cocoa Butter Kiss deodorant smells amazing, if you like coconut and sweet smelling products then this deodorant is perfect for you! Not only that, it applies smoothly onto the underarms and although it's a solid form it does not stain your clothing with those horrible white streaks! The scent is strong initially (which I like) but throughout the day the scent does slowly go away, but even in your toughest sweatiest days this deodorant does the job perfectly, helps minimize sweat and no bad odor whatsoever! The Scent Expressions line does come with 6 different scented deodorants for the invisible solid, 7 for the clear gel, and 5 matching body sprays. The line is amazing, in fact I want to go back to Target and purchase the matching body spray for around the same price....super affordable!

The concept for these wipes is simple, basically it's a moistened wipe that looks and feels exactly like makeup remover wipes, however you wipe it onto your body and it's supposed to make your skin feel smooth and hydrated as if you just applied lotion. Here's what ELF says about this product: "Hydrate your body with silky smooth moisture. The light and airy lotion moisturizes your skin, keeping it soft and supple all day long. These convenient Lotion Wipes are great for on-the-go travel and mess-free application. Just throw them in your purse or bag for soothing and refreshing moisture without carrying around a bulky lotion bottle." First off let me talk about the scent, upon first pulling out a wipe I did notice a very nice sweet mango scent, once applied onto the skin the scent was barely there, once the product dried the scent almost completely went away; this is something to think about if you're one of those ladies that applies lotion only because you like to smell good. Now onto the application process: I first used these wipes on a hot sunny day, I was really sweaty and these wipes felt very cooling and refreshing on my skin. The wipes are moistened enough where you can easily apply this all over your arms and legs, and it does take about a minute to fully dry. Luckily once it dried my skin didn't feel sticky in fact it did feel very smooth. However, when I used this on an average day (at work actually) where I wasn't sweaty or hot and the wipes seemed too wet and took longer to dry and probably because my skin didn't need the hydration. Overall, I do agree that these wipes are very convenient and perfect for on the go, so having said that I prefer to use these wipes when I'm out on hikes and bike-riding basically on days where my skin is super hot and sweaty and I need the extra hydration and cooling effect, but on a daily basis I prefer regular lotion that doesn't feel as "wet" as the ELF lotion wipes felt. These regularly go for $3.00 but I purchased them for $1.50 since I had a 50% off coupon; the package comes with 15 wipes and they do have other scents such as coconut, honey, cucumber, etc.

I know what some of you are thinking "OMG eyebrow razors" but these babies are amazing! We pluck our eyebrows to the best of our ability but sometimes even with the best tweezers out there, there are tiny thin hairs that are hard to pluck out. They are small razors perfect for getting rid of tiny thin hairs which can sometimes be hard to pluck out with tweezers, I love using these razors to clean up any hairs that my tweezers didn't pick up around my eyebrows. The blades are sharp enough to give you a clean smooth shave yet gentle enough even for the most sensitive skin. They are compact and easy to bring with you when traveling, and also easy to clean up! I highly recommend these babies!

First here's what Ponds has to say about this product: "POND'S Luminous Finish BB+ was created with Tone Perfecting Complex. It works by targeting the source of dark spots on skin’s surface – visibly fading them for a difference you can see. It also delivers a special pigment system designed to blend flawlessly into a variety of skin tones and immediately conceal imperfections with natural-looking coverage." The PONDS Luminous Finish BB+ Cream has a very light and creamy texture to it, it feels very similar to a tinted moisturizer in my opinion. It applies, blends, and also spreads very easily and without any effort at all. Since the consistency is very light and creamy, it feels very smooth and actually hydrating when it's being applied onto the face. I've applied this product with my fingers, brush,and sponge blender and all 3 ways this product applied very easily. The product does not have any shimmer at all but it's not completely matte, it does offer a bit of luminosity to the skin, almost like a glow; if you have oily skin I would suggest setting with a powder to avoid the look of oiliness or shine. The product does dry within a reasonable amount of time and you can apply more product on to build coverage, because this is a BB cream therefore one layer will give you a natural look but you can add another layer or do some spot applications for added coverage. Also, a little bit of product is really all that you need and you can keep adding on more for needed spots like imperfections and dark circles. In terms of staying power, the product lasts all day for me without any fading even in the days where we have 100+ degree weather. Since I have oily skin (and certain dry spots) I do set this cream with a powder and do have to touch up with blotting sheets or setting powder, after about 8 hours which is completely understandable. Also, this product does have a frangrance, reminds me of all other PONDS products which is a very fresh almost floral but does go away within time. I can honestly say that after using this product for a few weeks I have noticed redness in certain area minimize, and within 1 month of using this BB+ cream I have noticed my skin tone is appearing to even out just bit, which is amazing and I never thought a BB cream here in the US could do something like this. I am completely sold on the PONDS Luminous Finish BB+ Cream and I don't see myself switching over to any other BB Cream or foundation any time soon! I love the way it feels, love how easy it is to apply, love how it makes my skin look very flawless, fresh, and natural! You can find the PONDS Luminous Finish BB+ Cream in all major drugstore retailers, it is a 1 . 5 fl oz container and retails for around $10.99.

I've been a long time fan of Almay cosmetics, probably for the past 10 years, but more in the last several years after I horribly broke out in a rash from Proactiv. There are many reasons why I love Almay products but mainly it's because they are non-comedogenic which basically means it doesn't clog pores, it doesn't cause acne, it is sensitive enough for the most sensitive skin! Well I received an Almay Smart Shade CC Cream several months ago to test out and I had really high expectations for this product since I know and love other Almay products; well I've been using it on and off since then so today I bring you my thoughts on it. First off here's what Almay has to say about this product: "Almay's new smart shade cc cream is the perfect marriage of lightweight foundation + clarity enhancing skin care for beautiful coverage now and beautiful skin later. the lightweight formula: instantly: 1. covers imperfections flawlessly 2. corrects discolorations over time: 1. brightens and evens natural skin tone 2. helps prevent future damage with spf 35 This CC cream definitely has the texture and feel of a light foundation, it is not too liquidy and not too thick, in fact the consistency is pretty creamy and that makes it easy to blend it. It has light coverage that can't really be built up into more coverage, so although it can minimize redness and tiny blemishes it definitely will not hide acne or obvious imperfections. In fact, trying to build up more coverage by applying more than one coat will create uneven and patchy area on your face, this happened to me on several occasions. This CC cream leaves a glow to the face, almost like a shiny highlighter and I find that you have to set it with a powder regardless whether you have oily or dry skin. The number one issue that I had with this CC cream is that it leaves a sticky feeling on the face even after trying to let it dry for minutes, unfortunately that sticky feeling remains all day unless you set it with powder. During the Summer I have such an oily face and wearing this alone without powder simply made me look like I was dripping in sweat, it definitely did not hold up in extreme heat weather. As far as Almay claiming that this CC cream offers long term affects, by brightening and evening out skin tone I would have to disagree because I used this product for months and saw no improvement on my skin, unfortunately. Would I recommend this product? Well, this CC cream may work well for dry skin but I would not recommend it for extremely oily skin, the point of a light foundation is so you don't have to cake on the powder and I feel like with this CC cream you have to set it with powder. Overall, I do not plan on purchasing this product in the future.

I've used plenty of eyeshadow primers in my lifetime, from high end to drugstore, and my all time favorite would have to be the NYX Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone; it retails for $7.00 through the NYX site and at Ulta; and it is worth every single penny. The eyeshadow base comes in a jar which I have to admit initially bothered me because of sanitary reasons, however I've been using a concealer brush to dip and apply this product on my eyelids and my dissatisfaction quickly went away! The texture of the base is amazing, it actually feels like a smooth concealer which is wonderful because it applies without any effort at all; it also blends in perfectly! I love that it has a tiny bit of tacky feeling to it once you place it on your lids (not uncomfortable at all) because I am able to pat on a little bit of eyeshadow and it just lays on perfectly. Even the least pigmented shadows come to life when used with this eyeshadow base, and I love that I don't have to pack on too much eyeshadow with this primer! Lasting power is amazing, I've never once had my eyeshadow crease with this base and the longest I've worn it would have to be over 12 hours...with humidity and sweating! I want to also mention that a tiny bit of base is really all that you need, which is awesome because this product will last you a very long time, what's even more awesome than that...? Well this product will not dry out even if you've had it forever! I purchased a few (as backups) and never once did any "old" jars dry up, they are all as smooth and silky as they were from day 1! I highly recommend the NYX Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone, I haven't tried any of their other colors which are white and white pearl, but I can speak on the skin tone base which is completely amazing, so affordable, worth every single penny, this will not be a purchase you regret! Have you tried this base before? It is my favorite and just can't wear makeup without it!

The LORAC Lip Pencils generally retail for $16.00, however they were recently on Hautelook and I snagged up 2 of them for $3.00 each...how amazing is that? This is why I always rave and rant about Hautelook because you can get high end makeup at super cheap and super affordable prices. This is my first ever LORAC purchase, they are generally fairly expensive and I would never have been able to afford these before! I am so glad I purchased them on Hautelook because these pencils are AMAZING! They glide on super smoothly without any effort at all! The colors that I have are Nude and Pink Taupe and they are both very natural deep pink/light rose colors which look beautiful on the lips. They are also long lasting, I've literally worn them all day long and they still look fabulous on! The texture is amazing, very soft and creamy, and they can be worn as a full lip color because they are full on matte, which is hard to find at times with lip products. If you're interested in finding high end beauty products at affordable prices I would highly encourage you to sign up for Hautelook, they've had high end brands such as The Balm, Urban Decay, Laura Geller, OPI, Orly, and much more!

I've been recently using the L'Oreal Youth Code Day/Night Cream as my nighttime moisturizer for the past few months and today I wanted to share my thoughts on it with you! I actually received a couple of small jar samples in goodies bags a few months ago but this particular cream does retail for $24.00 for a 1 . 6 oz jar. First off here's what L'Oreal had to say about this product: "This potent daily moisturizer boosts skin’s natural powers of regeneration so it regains the qualities of young skin – skin looks rested, smoother and youthfully luminous. Signs of stress, fatigue and aging are visibly diminished. This unique, luxurious formula leaves a light, velvety smooth finish. Apply in the morning to illuminate skin tone. Apply in the evening for overnight recovery." The L'Oreal Youth Code Day/Night Cream has been my go to night time moisturizer for the past several months and I absolutely love it! It provides so much moisture and hydration to my face that it literally feels like my face is thirsty and this cream is giving it water. A little bit of product is all you need to moisturizer your entire face and this is why I have been able to use this tiny jar for a few months because literally a couple of dots of product will do the job. After using this cream for a few months I have noticed that my skin has been looking more refreshed, less dull, less red spots, and overall more vibrant. I do prefer to use this as a night cream because I do feel that it can be too heavy for daytime usage, especially since my face does get pretty oily throughout the day. Although it is a heavier cream, it does dry fairly quickly because the skin absorbs it right up! This is also why i prefer to use it at night, so my skin has at least 8 hours to absorb the cream which in return provides me with the softest and smoothest skin every morning! I am just about done with my little jar of product, and I do plan on buying the full size, although it is $24, it is an amazing deal because the product comes in a huge 1 . 6 oz jar which will last a very long time. If you're looking for deep hydration, a night cream that will provide smooth and vibrant skin then this is the product for you....I highly recommend it!

This weekend I tested out the Kiss Everlasting French (Manicure) kit, which comes with 28 nails in 14 different sizes, plus a nail filer, cuticle stick and nail glue. This particular kit can be purchased at many local drugstores for around $6.99. This particular nail set is pretty easy to apply because the tip of the nails have a tab which makes it nearly impossible for you to get nail glue on your fingertips! The application process is pretty easy, clean your nails, remove/push back cuticles, apply glue on nails (natural and fake nails) and then apply. The glue dries almost instantly and the whole process takes less than 7 minutes. I love the way French Tip nails look, they are the ultimate classic look and to me look very elegant, so I LOVE the way these look and feel and also how they apply however the lasting power is something I am not too happy with. Within day two, 1 nail already fell off, day 3 another fell off, by day 4 a total of 5 nails already fell off....which brings me to my overall opinion; these are amazing for a one night event however don't expect these to be on you for the entire week. In addition, the glue does take some work to remove from your original nail, if you want an alternative that does not use nail glue I would suggest the Impress Press On Nails.

I received a 1 . 2 Fl oz bottle of the Herbal Essences Body Wash in Body Burst a few months ago, it was a sample from P&G, and I just recently tested it out and wanted to share with you my thoughts on it. This body wash is amazing, it holds the 3 main factors that I look for in a body wash, it does an excellent job in lathering with just a little bit of product, it smells amazing, and it does an awesome job in moisturizing my skin. The scent is amazing, smells like a mixture of mango, orange, sugar cane, overall a sweet (almost like you want to eat it) scent, which lingers on your body well after you've finished showering. This particular body wash is from Herbal Essences' new line which I believe came out in July of this year, they have 2 other scents as well. For an 11 Fl. oz bottle this retails for $3.99 which is super affordable and worth every single penny! I would highly recommend it to anyone out there for any skin type, who is looking for an affordable, moisture filled, sweet scented body wash!
