This brush is amazing, in fact I love all their brushes! I recommend getting a brush set because you'll get more for your bucks! It's been about a year since I've been using the Sonia Kashuk Proudly Pink Brush Set and by far it's one of the best sets of brushes I've ever used. The set includes: Powder/Blusher brush, Synthetic concealer brush, Eye shadow brush, Crease brush and Synthetic bent eye liner brush. Plus a silver carrying case. This set retails for $14.99 which is an amazing deal considering the high quality of these brushes. The bristles on the brushes are so soft (perfect for the most gentle skin) yet durable and thick enough to pack on enough product to achieve a beautiful flawless application. These brushes are made up of all natural 100% cruelty-free hair: Powder/blusher brush is goat, Synthetic Concealer brush is nylon, Eyeshadow brush is pony/goat, Crease brush is pony/goat, and Synthetic Bent Eye brush is nylon. The brushes are perfectly sized, they are a tiny bit smaller than regular brushes but I love that because they are so travel friendly! They are also very easy to clean and within the year that I've used them they've maintained their color, no fading, and no shedding whatsoever! In addition the packaging is super adorable, who doesn't love pink brushes?

I recently had the opportunity to test out the Studio Gear Cosmetics Holiday Smokey Eye Palette and wanted to quickly share my thoughts with you all! This palette retails for $40 but it's currently on sale for $25; it comes with 3 eye-shadows and a blush, all in a small compact which is perfect for on the go. Here's what Studio Gear says about the palette: "Be radiant on any occasion with this sultry, shimmery palette of dramatic shades – perfect for creating a classic smoky eye look, with a hint of unexpected golden glimmer. This collection of four complimentary eye shadows with matching blush deliver several day to night options that are both seductive and wearable. With pure color, pigment-rich formulations, you’ll be sure to smolder all night!" The quality of the shadows are OK, they didn't WOW me but they're not bad either. I did have issues with the white shadow being way too powdery and flaky, probably because it is very glittery and a bit hard to work with. The other 3 shadows are also frosty but applied beautifully and are pretty soft and smooth which made the application process fairly quick and easy. My favorite part of the palette is the blush, it is such a pigmented coral color, perfect for any skin color. It applies very smoothly and it blends very easily as well, and since it is very pigmented you only need just a tad to achieve a pretty and subtle color to the cheeks. Another favorite part of this palette is that it is pretty compact so you can take it literally anywhere on the go! In terms of lasting power, with eyeshadow and face primer these shadows and blush last a good day's worth with the same intensity as it did in the beginning of the day. Overall I have mixed feelings about this palette, although the blush is amazing and majority of the shadows are pigmented and apply wonderfully the $40 (even $25) price tag is a bit hefty for what the palette comes with. I would have preferred that they included a matte color for the brow bone and also a matte color for blending in the crease.

I purchased the Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover on a very last minute purchase just to hit the mark for free shipping on the Sephora site. I honestly didn't even read reviews on it and I saw it was only $7.00 for the 1 . 69 oz bottle and $10.50 for a 4 . 69 oz bottle; so I thought why not try it. I've been trying out several new mascaras, some of which are waterproof and I hate removing waterproof eye makeup just because I don't have the right kind of remover, so honestly I was very excited to try this remover from Sephora and did have high hopes for it! Here's what Sephora says about the product: "This do-it-all formula removes waterproof makeup and contains a lash-strengthening complex that's rich in flavonoids and olive wood extracts." The formula is formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, which is awesome because anything you put close to your eyes, you want to make sure there are no harmful chemicals! Let's look at other PROS: *Did not hurt or sting my eyes *Removed waterproof eyeliner *A little bit of product is all you need Now let's look at the CONS: *Feels oily on the skin after removing makeup *Doesn't quite do a great job in removing waterproof mascara *Does leave some waterproof makeup residue *Expensive considering bottle ounces Overall I am glad I tried this waterproof eye makeup remover, I'm about half way done with the bottle and do plan on using it until it is empty. I am happy that it doesn't sting my eyes because I do have somewhat sensitive eyes to begin with! Although I am satisfied that it removed waterproof eyeliner, my main concern was the waterproof mascara that it did not remove very well. I also didn't like the oily residue that it left behind and of course the price tag is a little bit higher than a drugstore remover. In conclusion I do not plan on repurchasing this.

One of my all time favorite brushes is the ELF Studio Angled Blush Brush, for only $3.00 this brush easily compares to a lot of high end brushes that I own. The bristles on this brush are very thick and nicely packed in together, which is pretty amazing because it packs on the product and applies the product without any effort at all! The brush bristles are very soft as well which is perfect for even the most sensitive skin, yet dense enough to actually get the job done! I use this brush for both blush and bronzer and I simply love it! The shape of this brush is amazing and since it is angled it makes the contour process super simply and quickly. In fact, I learned how to contour with this brush so I highly recommend it to any beginners looking to learn how to apply bronzer and blush! Overall for only $3.00 you can't go wrong with this brush, regardless whether you own high end brushes, this ELF Studio Angled Blush Brush is a staple in any beauty lover!

For the past few months I've heard so many people rave about the BECCA One Perfecting Brush and I was given the opportunity to receive and test out the brush about a month ago. This brush retails for $49 on the Sephora site and to be quite honest the only reason why I agreed to review this product is because of its claims which I will discuss in a bit. The BECCA One Perfecting Brush claims to be a multitasking product because it is supposed to replace 10 brushes: Foundation Brush, Powder brush, Contour Brush, Bronzer Brush, Stipple Brush, Blush Brush, Fan Brush, Concealer Brush, Kabuki, or a Sponge. My initial thoughts were WOW this is a bargain product because can you imagine how much money you'd saved with not purchasing any other brushes aside from this one? Well let's start off with how it actually looks, it's a peculiar shape don't you agree? The handle is about the size of my palm and it is shaped sort of like an odd rectangle, a bit wide for my hands. The actual bristles are amazing, I do have to admit that the bristles feel super soft yet are so densely packed in, and almost feels like a soft puppy! Now after using this brush for about a month I can honestly say that in terms of the claims I do not see this brush as a "multitasking product" I simply found it a bit awkward using it any other way aside from contouring. The shape of the brush/bristles makes it a bit difficult to blend out liquid/powder foundation, stippling was a bit odd and took a lot longer with the BECCA brush vs a standard stippling brush. Also, blush didn't apply and blend as evenly as I would have liked. However this brush is amazing when it comes to contouring the cheeks, the shape of the brush fits in perfectly aligned with your cheekbones which creates this amazing contouring effect. Also, because the bristles are so packed in, you don't need much product to get that amazing contoured look. Overall, I can see it being a good tool to have when traveling and if you only see yourself using a couple of face products at a time - you could make it work however I simply would not purchase it for $49 since I only use it for applying bronzer.

This serum is intended for women with wavy, frizz-prone hair that are looking to have smooth & soft looking hair. You can use this serum with a flat iron for a more sleek look, however I've been using it as a daily overnight hair treatment. This serum contains Moroccan Argan Oil which is known to have amazing benefits to the hair (and also skin), it can be very moisturizing, nourishing, control frizz, add shine, and the list goes on and on! This is why I love this product because since using it for a few months I've noticed a drastic difference in the way my hair looks and feels -- no more dry brittle ends, my hair has been less frizzy throughout the day, even with the most extreme weather (freezing and scorching hot), less tangled, and overall my hair looks and feels healthier and stronger. I've tried a few other "oils" some of which are from beauty supply stores, even high end, and they honestly don't compare to the Pantene Smooth Lisse Serum! This serum doesn't feel heavy at all on the hair, it actually absorbs into the hair to provide moisture vs some other oils just sit on your hair and weight it down (plus also make it look/feel greasy). For only $6.99 for a 1 . 7 Fl OZ container, this product is amazing and I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to control frizz, yet also wants to have smooth, silky, shiny, healthy looking hair! Even though this product is less than 2 ounces, it is well worth it because you only need just a tiny bit to work wonders! As a tip, use after your night-time shower, apply to towel dried hair, and put hair in a bun, when you wake up in the morning you will already begin to notice a difference in your hair! I have not tried this with heat appliances (like a flat iron) but that's only because I am trying to let my hair rest from heat damage!

This particular palette comes with a lot of beautiful deep highly pigmented colors, all of which are easily blendable! Most of the colors have a somewhat matte finish with tiny specks of glitter, and one really glittery shadow. The shadows feel super buttery and smooth, the texture is simply amazing! This palette is a must for anyone looking for an affordable smokey eye palette, for anyone traveling, on the go, and even for the person who already owns a billion shadows this palette is amazing and you simply cannot pass it up!!

This cream is like no other I've tried, it's actually clear like a gel and feel smooth almost like a face primer. It applies wonderfully on the hands and dries fairly quickly. After using this for the 1st time, my hands felt amazing, I couldn't stop rubbing them together, after using this for 7 whole days, my hands felt moisturized and so smooth. Right now we've been having really cold weather (30 degrees) and prior to using the Neutrogena Hand Cream my cuticles were so dry and looking pretty ugly (this is why I haven't been posting any nail looks) also my knuckles were starting to feel scaly and super dry due to the weather. hanks to the Norwegian Formula Neutrogena Hand Cream I now have a holy grail product that I see myself using all year long, not just in the winter time. Neutrogena claims that this product: - Is clinically proven to repair the skin's natural moisture barrier to keep hands softer and smoother longer. - Provides long lasting moisture even after washing hands. - Combats peeling nails while moisturizing dry cuticles. Hands down all of the claims are true and accurate, it's really a product you must try out to believe! To sum it up, within 7 days my cuticles were not longer dry and irritated, my knuckles were smooth and soft, and my overall hands became baby soft. The Norwegian Formula Neutrogena Hand Cream retails for only $4.99 for a 2 fl oz bottle, comes in a scented and fragrance free formula, and can be purchased at nationwide food, drug, and mass merchandiser.

These babies retail for $22.00 for a .11 oz tube of product. I never thought that in a million years I would recommend a lip product that retails for that much money however these lip creams are so worth it. I wouldn't call them lipsticks because the texture and feel of this product is like no other out there. They feel like a super hydrating lip balm, so creamy and smooth, and the pigmentation is very subtle and natural, which I love. These lip creams are not tacky at all and not a bit sticky, and I was initially amazed that the lasting power of these lip creams is around 3-4 hours, which is pretty unbelievable considering the amount of hydration these creams provide to your lips. I also love the packaging, the gold tube makes the lip creams look so sleek, since it's normally not what I am used to with drugstore lip products. Also, the box that these lip creams comes in is so adorable and very fairy tale-like! I believe these are well worth the splurge because you only need a tiny bit of product to achieve maximum color and super hydration, therefore these lip creams will last a very long time making the price very fair. These lip creams can be purchased through the Too Faced site, Sephora, and Ulta for the same price.

NYX Cosmetics is one of my all time favorite makeup brand, they offer "high end" beauty products at drugustore prices! As soon as I saw that they came out with brand new products I knew I had to purchase a few, well today I am here to briefly talk about their NEW Baked Blushes. They come in 12 different colors, each with .23 fl oz of product, and they retail for $7.00. I have the color BBL12 SUGAR MAMA which is a beautiful peach colored blush. Here's what NYX Cosmetics had to say about their new Baked Blushes: "Baked to sheer perfection, this luxurious formula is packed full of pigments to provide a natural glow and highlight to the face. Uniquely designed to be used wet or dry, depending upon the makeup statement you want to make. When used dry with a brush, the look is light and fresh. Want more color? No Problem! Apply wet with a makeup sponge for more intensity. Baked blush tends to be hard on the surface, but once you get through the top layer, you get true, intense color payoff!" I completely agree with NYX this product does act like a blush yet also like a highlighter as well; the blush is not matte at all but does have tiny bit of gold shimmer specks similar to a highlighter, so it looks very natural and provides a bit of color and bit of highlight to the skin as well. What I also love about this blush is that it feels amazing on the skin, when you touch it the blush feels very soft, almost like velvet, and it applies amazingly on the skin, without any effort at all. The blush also blends in so perfectly and a little bit of product is all you need because this blush is very pigmented yet does look very natural on the skin. It is not powdery at all, and it doesn't feel like any other baked blush I've tried before. Also, this blush is very long lasting, I've had it on for an entire work day (over 9 hours) and the blush still looked amazing as it did when I first applied it. I decided to go with a peach color because I have so many other pink blushes, however seeing how amazing these are I plan on purchasing a few other colors including some of the deep and light pinks. They do have a wide variety of different shade variations which is great because anyone of any color can find a blush that looks great on their skin -- the range goes from peach, orange, bright pink, light pink, deep rose, tan pink and many more. Each blush comes in a very sturdy high quality plastic see-through box, with a cute bow as the opening. This is also why NYX is one of my favorite all time brands because they truly do put so much time, effort, and thought into their packaging and of course into the quality of their products. I also wanted to mention that I've only tried this blush dry and not wet just because I feel like it's already so pigmented. In addition, depending on your skin color all of these blushes can somehow become a blush, highlighter or even a bronzer which is pretty amazing!
