If you enjoy floral scents, most notably those with notes of lily, then Cartier "Basier Volé" is for you. It is so light and fresh! This is a great fragrance for the summer season. I had more than a few people stop me when I used the samples I had been collecting for quite awhile and ask if I was wearing any perfume at all. The key notes are lily bud and lily leaves, so there is a "green" element to it as well. What a gentle, pure scent!

I'll never forget when my beloved mom had emergency quadruple-bypass surgery. She was put in a rehab center immediately after the operation. Despite my protests, the staff refused to note that the area where part of an artery was removed was hot, red, and becoming infected. She had to have further surgery--plastic surgery to cover the scar. The plastic surgeon's office glistened with bottles and tubes of skin care products under mirrors and behind glass. One day I asked the surgeon which product truly worked. He confided in me that he carried them simply because his patients believed in them. He himself thought that nothing worked better to heal skin than cocoa and shea butters. What a great piece of information to learn! Palmer's products are so affordable and so efficacious! This lip balm is delectable to the point where I don't know whether to wear it or eat it (I don't suggest consuming it). Mix the scents of dark chocolate and peppermint with cocoa butter, petrolatum, and Vitamin E. The result is lips which are beautifully and truly healed--no more flakes, crust, or cuts. This is an incredible balm and gives a subtle, lovely shine. And I'll never forget the surgeon's words about the potency of cocoa and shea butters . . .

Rarely have a smelled a more romantic or feminine fragrance than this. Coach skillfully blended Green Violet, Gardenia NaturePrint®, Patchouli, Caramel, Musk, Mandarin, Dewberry, Freesia, Magnolia, Jasmine, Sandalwood, and Vanilla for a resulting soft, warm, sensuous fragrance. It's very nice!

Marc Jacobs' charming, whimsical lady-bug bottle belies the potency of this fragrance. It is at once captivating, feminine, uplifting, and uplifting. Key notes are red berries, dragonfruit, honeysuckle, jasmine, coconut water, orange blossom, vanilla, driftwood, and musk. This is a lush but wonderfully light fragrance for summer.

Shiseido Bio-Performance Advanced Super Revitalizer (Cream) Whitening Formula N
Incredible--But Not the Only Product Like This!
I have the pleasure of being able to review this for a cosmetic site ($75.00 for a little less than two ounces). It's wonderful. It contains glycerin, squalance, and hyaluonic acid. I find my skin wonderfully velvety with this slip of a cream, which sinks in immediately with no annoying residue. Even though this has worked wonders on me, there are products with similar potent ingredients at much lower prices which I can afford, so I won't be completely heartbroken when I'm done with it.

"Liliana" is a surprisingly spirited, uplifting floral scent, perfect for summer. Tocca's master blenders have combined Italian bergamot, neroli, watery peach, muguet, gardenia, white peony, sandalwood, musk, benzoin, and patchouli. The fragrance mystifies--despite the many floral essences, this scent has a bit of a delightful "bite." I haven't been able to wear it without garnering a lot of positive attention.

I laughed when my husband bought this. I remember buying it for band camp in high school, when the squad girls and the band members had shaving cream battles. My husband has tried the priciest shave creams available, but this works well for his thick, tough hair.

Korres makes some exceptional products. I found their "Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturizing and Brightening Cream" a little disappointing. It smells wonderful (I am drawn to all things rose). But it is too heavy under my makeup, and I don't have oily skin. It is also lacking an SPF factor. After using this on and off for months, it did soften my skin, but there was no real brightening effect. Because of the weight, I only used it at night. I prefer a moisturizer I can wear under makeup, one which absorbs into my complexion well and one which I don't even realize I am wearing.

This is a great fragrance--soft, warm, and especially lovely if you enjoy florals. It has a definite sensual side to it as well. This is meant to be "mysterious, soothing, and magnetic." Mugler has a winner with this fragrance. Notes include solar accord, jasmine sambac, green notes, cashmeran, vanilla, and transparent amber. This is lovely for year-round wear.

Dr. Jart+'s "Black Label Detox Beauty Balm" has a lot of good things going for it. It has an SPF of 25, great for all women. It contains aloe vera, green tea, and portulaca oleracea to soothe skin, while caviar purifies your complexion and regenerates. Arbutin works to brighten discoloration and hyperpigmentation. I was sure I would love it--but I was sadly mistaken. It comes in a "universal" shade supposedly meant to enhance all skin tones. I found the color very artificial on me, leaning toward an orange. It is thicker than I expected. It covered imperfections, but I felt a "cake-like" coating on me. It did little to disguise tiny lines and wrinkles. I agree with the reviewer below me. If you want to use this, ask for a sample before buying the product.
