My husband has run the gamut of all men's shampoos and has a hard time settling for just one. Suave's "Professionals Ocean Charge" seems to be keeping him quite happy. He loves the lather and the conditioning (he is glad that it doesn't weigh his hair down). I love the fresh, clean scent and the price!

Jovan's "White Musk" was inspired by the white mallow blossom. It has a delicacy which is rare for fragrances found in drugstores, making it soft, subtle, and pure. On the other hand, I feel quite sexy when I wear this and tend to get a lot of compliments. It's the perfect fragrance for spring and summer months.

Delightful, Oil-Free Moisture
Few drugstore moisturizers work as effectively as Olay's "Complete All Day Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF." For about $10.00, my skin is treated to a softening treatment and protection from UVA/UVB rays. I love the fact that it is 100% oil-free; it works perfectly under makeup. Glycerin, dimethicone, Niacinamide, and Vitamins C and E are among some of the ingredients that actually change the tone and texture of your skin with continuous use. The scent is fresh and the formula lightweight. I wouldn't recommend this for someone with a parched, Sahara-like complexion, but it is excellent for oily and combination skin. It is an absolute pleasure to use.

I am fortunate enough to have a nephew who does some of Murad's marketing. From time to time, he is able to slip me a product after he has worked with it. The line, in general, is extraordinary. I love the "Essential-C Day Moisture." It's not often that you find emollients with an SPF factor of 30. The smell is light and delightful. The cream slips right into skin. You would never suspect the high-powered ingredients contained in this. Vitamins C and E protect from free radical damage. A patented skin repair system works to maintain the taut appearance of your complexion. Lipids bind water to continuously hydrate. My skin is not only softened, but this imparts a clarity and radiance I love. Be sure to apply liberally over face, neck, and décolletage. Any left over? Use on hands to give them the same luxurious treatment and prevent lines. This is a wonderful moisturizer.

I picked this up recently because I had misplaced the other lip balms I carry in my purse (I have a lot of most products because I tend to be fickle). It has a great scent and an immediately comforting, soothing texture. I like the added benefit of Vitamin E and an SPF of 15. It doesn't need to be reapplied often and leaves my lips in great shape.

Right now, I am loving Neutrogena's "Triple Moisture" daily shampoo and conditioner. I decided to complete my regimen by using Neutrogena's "Deep Recovery Hair Mask." I can't BELIEVE the change in my hair! It had been overworked and damaged from steroids I have had to take. It broke easily, was lifeless, and had no shine. The high dose of vitamins I take--especially B Vitamins--has helped a great deal, but I was still having problems. In the very humid heat of this summer, it takes on a life of its own and becomes a frizzy mess I cannot control. BUT NO LONGER--using this deep conditioner weekly (along with the shampoo and conditioner) has kept my hair like manageable silk. I apply and let it penetrate at least five to ten minutes (it truly coats the hair's cuticle and nourishes). If I have a special occasion for which I want to look stunning, I actually massage it in well and sleep with two shower caps and cover my pillow with a towel (highly attractive, I realize), but the results are worth it. It has a decided sheen now, and the humidity has little effect on it any longer. I don't need styling products to keep it in place; it holds the style I create with virtually no problem. I'm just a tad confused--is this really MY hair?

This potent cream works to revive and soften even the most deeply stressed or overworked hair. Olive, meadowfoam, and sweet almond oil penetrate and treat to restore shine, life, and manageability! I have to update this review: It has been extremely humid and my hair normally turns to a frizzy mess. I've been using this conditioner and am having NO problems. It's simply INCREDIBLE!

I agree with "Kenya" below that this shampoo lathers well--so well that you do need less than you do with other shampoos. The shampoo is a creamy, luxurious formula with a delicious smell. It is ultra-gentle to hair, especially hair which has been colored too often, treated harshly, or over-processed in any way. It contains panthenol as well as olive, meadowfoam seed, and sweet almond oils to nourish, moisturize, and repair. Generally after shampooing, my hair is like dry hay, and running a wide-toothed comb through it is difficult, if not impossible. Neutrogena's "Triple Moisture Cream" leaves it soft, smooth, manageable, and easy to style. I have also noticed a sheen which I don't have without it. This is an excellent product, especially for about $6.00.

In all honesty, I purchased Farmhouse Fresh® Shea Butter "Front Porch Punch" Soap to reach a certain amount of money spent because the give-away at the site was the "Whoopie Cream" I love. It is $9.00, a lot for a bar of soap, to be sure. But the size is enormous (I had to switch soap dishes). This is 97% natural. The lather is abundant; give it thirty seconds and you have bubbles galore! The fragrance is a mix of mouth-watering fruits, particularly great for summer: strawberry, grapefruit, mango, melon, and peach (I also detect a slight hint of nut). It contains shea butter, olive fruit oil, glycerin, Vitamin E, and sweet almond oil, among a lot of other ingredients. I have used it to cleanse my face and hands; I'm going to purchase another bar for the shower. The scent is so delectable and refreshing that it is very hard to resist. While using it, you feel the softening ingredients going to work. But don't fear putting this in your kitchen and using it to remove excess grease from cooking. It is much like DHC's "White Soap" in that it deceptively deep-cleans while it comforts. I dare you to wash your hands or face just ONCE with this--I keep returning to it and repeating.

I am forever on the prowl for the perfect mascara. At this time of year, I need a waterproof formula which truly doesn't clump, smudge, or budge whether I am in high humidity or the ocean. Maybelline's "Lash Discovery Waterproof Mascara" is something I picked up last month for about $5.00. I didn't expect dramatic lashes, but that is what I did get. Why? The unusual, ultra-thin brush allows you to reach, color, and hold the curl of every single lash, whether it's on the bottom or top. Because it is pliable, I use a second coat for additional "oomph." When all lashes are completely covered and separated well, you do have more glamour than you expected. I am highly surprised at how very well this works for me. I hope you have the same results!
