I received a sample of this with an Ulta purchase. I have been on the lookout for a new hairspray to replace the tresemme I've been using for years. Still, nothing has trumped it, which is weird, because it isn't exactly perfect. But about this spray: it has an innocuous smell, which is good when a lot of hairsprays have overpowering odors. It's supposed to have a super hold, but I would say medium hold. It isn't sticky, dried quickly, and hasn't dried out my hair. My hair already has a lot of shine, and I was glad that this kept it, but it didn't do anything to enhance it. Actually, it gave my hair a weird crinkled texture, as if I had really kinky curly hair and had straightened it a lot. The hold and weird texture mostly wore off over a few hours. It doesn't seem to have any special qualities that would make me want to buy a full size version.

I had been wanting to try these for a while, because I wanted a color that stuck around better than regular lipstick. Not only do these do that, they also condition my lips. After having used them for a week, my lips are in significantly better condition. They're soft. They even look fuller. My favorite thing to do is to use a lipstick that matches the balm stain color perfectly. I layer the lipstick over the balm stain. The balm stain keeps the lipstick from smudging much like a lip primer would. Then eventually went it does (I have to eat some time!) I still have the stain color underneath! Now I never have naked lips. :) I'm magic like that.

I tried a sample of this product in light-medium, and I think the color is little off. It has a dark yellowish tinge and a greasy sheen even though the package says you can wear it by itself. It's been a little hard on my sensitive skin. It stings in places and is failing to sooth the drier parts like it claims it will. To balance out the weird color and shine, I blotted it with a powder several shades lighter. Make sure you get the correct tone, because this isn't as sheer as much CC creams. It's about as opaque as a foundation. My suggestion to you is to try before you buy like I did. Personally, I'm not going to buy. This isn't the product for me.

For girls who want their makeup to stick but don't have big pores to cover
I seem to be one of those blessed individuals who has no trouble getting their makeup to stay put. On really hot days, I use a makeup setting spray over a setting powder and that always does the trick. Adding an extra layer into the mix in the form of primer has always make me feel heavily made-up, so if I'm going to use a primer, it had better do something. I have good tone, but this time of year (ah summer in Florida), I tend to have oily skin and enlarged pore on my cheeks. The most important thing I would look for in a primer is an ability to camouflage pores. This doesn't have that. Otherwise it's about the same as other similar products in this price range.

Serious Skincare Glycolic Gommage Exfoliating Facial
Feels great! Irritates acne :( Maybe better for mature skin?
With the word glycolic, I thought this would act more like an at-home chemical peel. I was afraid when it was done, my skin would be tender and red, and that it would sting really badly and I wouldn't be able to wait the full 10 minutes before washing it off. But that didn't happen. For the most part, I was pleasantly surprised. I followed the directions, starting by cleansing my skin with a gentle foaming cleanser and then patting it dry. I applied the product. The directions say to apply in a thick, even layer, but it seemed to only want to go in a thin layer. It stung a little bit. I was afraid it would get worse, but it didn't. Instead the stinging gave way to a pleasant, refreshing cooling sensation. I didn't want to take it off! I eventually did. It scrubbed off easily, but most of my acne flared up pretty badly, and it made my prescription acne treatment sting when I put it on. All in all, I'm on the fence about this product. I'm really not sure it did anything. But it did feel really nice while I had it on. Maybe it would have more of an effect on mature skin.

For the price, it doesn't do much. It only makes lipstick stay a little bit longer. My mother always taught me to use chapstick under your lipstick to make it stay longer. Now I use a balm stain under my lipstick instead. It makes my color last forever, even when the top coat comes off! Try to choose a balm or balm stain that matches your favorite lipstick color. Then everyone will think you have magic lips. ;)

I really thought this was going to be great. It smelled amazing, like a body wash I had years ago, light and clean and expensive. It made me feel nostalgic and fancy. I was super excited. I used it in the shower. I rubbed it everywhere, because it felt so good. Boy I wish I hadn't done that! When I got out of the shower, everywhere I rubbed it was covered in white blotches. I freaked out! Luckily I covered them with self-tanner, otherwise this could have been a catastrophe. I really wish this had worked. I'm sure glad I only got a sample. My may try to use it on just me feet and see how that turns out.

Having experience with a lot of so-called natural products, I wasn't expecting very much from this one. I was afraid it was going to be sticky, since it says it contains sap (weird, imo), but I went ahead and tried it anyway. I squeezed a dime-size amount into my palm and rubbed my hands together so that it got in between my fingers and all over my hands in a very thin layer. Then I ran my fingers through my damp hair, making sure to get every spot. At first, it had a bit of a gel effect on my wet hair. I was afraid it would dry it out or something. But I went to dry it, still ready to give this stuff a chance. I'm glad I did! My hair became soft, shiny, and full. It had some serious bounce, but it felt like I wasn't using anything at all. That is the mark of a great hair product: that it makes your hair look and feel effortlessly amazing!

I have damaged, color-treated hair, so I'm always looking for luxurious conditioners to pump some life back into it. This conditioner has a light botanical smell, and it is very thick, like a hair mask, but it is very hydrating. I slicked this stuff onto hair I just washed with the Davines Love Shampoo, and it was like magic! No more tangles! No more dryness! And best of all, it washed out completely and didn't weigh down my hair. It only left it manageable and soft. Yay!

Vasanti Brighten Up! - Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator
Smooth, Moisturized skin - Great for Sensitive skin :)
I used this scrub in my shower, completely not thinking it would live up to it's claims. It had an innocuous smell and a smooth texture until I put it on my face. The micro crystals were very sharp but not so painful I couldn't handle them. I scrubbed this stuff all over my face for about 30 seconds and then rinsed. Even in the shower, I could feel how smooth and soft my skin was. My skin has been breaking out really badly lately, but this didn't irritate it like practically everything else. I was so excited! I am definitely going to buy this!
