I bought this 4 years ago, and I use it almost every day. I am totally a brand snob, so I have been looking for a high end hairspray that can outperform this. So far, everything has paled in comparison to this. It has medium combable hold, gives the hair shine, reduces frizz--basically it is hairspray that makes your hair look like you have no product in it, that your hair is just that perfect naturally. This is the Holy Grail of hairsprays!

I always use this as a base coat when I do my manicures at home (which I've started doing all the time, since I can't seem to find a manicurist who can do better than me). It has helped my nails be able to grow longer without breaking, but it isn't perfect. I still need to remember to file them when they start to look as long as falsies. I'm probably expecting too much of this, haha. But I can definitely tell the difference when I don't use this. It dries quickly and doesn't have too hash a smell. After the base coat, I do the color. My two favorites are actually super cheap, but I have tested and they out perform salon brands. They're Rimmel 60 Seconds and Wet n Wild Megalast. On top of that, I use Sally Hansen Insta-Dri, and my manicures usually last for 5-7 days. With this recipe, my pedicures last up to a month.

I'm very conflicted on this under eye concealer. To make it easy on all of us, I'll just tabulate the list of pros and cons of this makeup product as I experienced it. Pros: 1) Covers up all traces of darkness under the eyes. Like seriously. I had to contour my cheekbones more so my face didn't look flat. I have had dark circles under my eyes from allergies and sleep problems for most of my life. Under eye concealer was literally one of the very first makeup products I bought, and I've never used one that has blotted out dark hues so completely. 2)Did not budge one bit throughout the day. And if you've run into any of my other reviews, you'll know I always mention that I live in FL because it is so hot and humid and terribly difficult to wear makeup here! 3) Creamy texture: this spread very easily without clumping or smearing. 4) no funny odor. You'd be surprised how many concealers smell quite strange, like glue. 5) A little dab went a REALLY long way. I mean, I only have a deluxe sample size, and I don't see myself having to buy this for a while even if I do continue to use it daily. Cons: 1) It really accentuated the small creases I have under my eye. I was horrified! I'm only 24, so I can't imagine what this might do to someone who has more moons behind her. 2) SO shiny, almost greasy in sheen (not in feel). I'm super glad I was doing a matte look today. I patted mattifying powder onto this and the weird sheen went away completely. But holy cow. I do not like using products that require a completely different product to correct them. 3. Too light a tone. Now, I'm have been super pale over the last few years. I got tired of it though, and I've invested in a few good gradual tanners, and now I'm a few shades darker. I'm definitely a solid medium. The sample I received was in neutral medium, which I thought would be perfect. Nope. It is almost the same color as the Ivory concealers I'm phasing out. So take note, these shades run a little on the light side. ///I think over all the pros win. If I bought this concealer, which I might, I would buy it in a darker color.

I had really high hopes for this eyeliner, but it didn't live up to them. I tried to use it only my lower waterline and lash line, but it didn't go on the waterline at all, and it was all clumpy and weird on the lash line, like a $1 drugstore eyeliner. Worse, it made my eyes itch. The liner was supposed to be purple, too, but the pigmentation left much to be desired. At least it had good staying power and didn't leave rings under my eyes in the heat.

This lipstick is smooth as, well, butter. It is highly pigmented, true to color, and very moisturizing without being oily. The only drawback to this lipstick is that it transfers VERY easily. Careful not to press your lips wrong and have it go outside the lines. I'll definitely blot it next time or try to set it with a transparent powder.

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
Love! Great on Sensitive Skin! Excellent in Floridian Summer Heat!
I have tried several primers already. Either they felt super heavy, made me feel like I was just layering gobs and gobs of spackle onto my face, or they made me broke out, or they just plain rolled off my face when I tried to put any foundation on. But this stuff lives up to all of its claims. Recently I went on a medication that made my face break out like mad. So I have a lot of blemishes and dark spots and uneven skin to cover up. I just received a sample of this, and I was really hesitant to try it because of my prior track record with primers. Plus today was really hot, like makeup melting off your face hot. I went ahead and tried this anyway, and boy am I happy I did! It smoothed onto my skin, creating a a wonderful blurred effect. But best of all, it felt really great on my skin. I have patches that tend to get angry and stingy and flaky. Some primers and foundations make those patches even angrier. This actually made them feel better! Hallelujah! So I went ahead and put my foundation on over this. I used Revlon 24 hour liquid makeup, and put it on with a sponge. The primer helped it go on evenly, and after I was done, you couldn't see a dang pore on my face. I only needed to apply a little concealer under my eyes and on two or three pimples, which is WAY fewer than I have. Like I said, today was extremely hot. I had errands to run, and I walked my dog, but every time I checked my face, it was like I hadn't sweated at all. This stuff is a life saver. I am going to buy a full size of this for sure. Yay!

There isn't really much difference between this razor and the original. I think this one has moisture strips, but all they do is get sticky and weird. It's a pretty good razor after they wear off. Then you should use shaving cream.

I remember being 12 and oggling the nice razors in the drugstore, wishing to shave my legs. When my mom finally let me, the next hurdle was to get her to buy me an expensive(ish) Venus razor. I used to nick the crap out of my ankles, but I don't think it was the razor's fault. This really was old trusty. A good starter razor. If I had one again, I would definitely use some shaving cream along with the skill and finesse I've acquired in the last 12 years since beginning to shave my legs.

I don't understand these negative reviews. I think it's operator error. This is the best razor I have ever used. When I purchased it, I got it on sale and with a coupon, and I also bought shaving cream to go with it. I used it first on my armpits, where I almost never use shaving cream. I didn't use it this time either. I shaved in the shower, and the olay bars wet like bars of soap. The razor glided over my skin, and with only a few strokes, the hair vanished. It was so easy. I was absolutely astonished. So I decided to do my legs without shaving cream either. I had exactly the same experience. The razor glided over my skin, got rid of every hair, and left my legs moisturized. Why isn't this working for other people? Did you guys try to use it dry or something? I really don't get it. I've been reading the others to figure out what it is. Please use this in the shower or bath! Otherwise it won't work! The little Olay moisture strips are literally just Olay beauty bar soap. Now let's think. How does this soap thing work? Do you rub it on your skin dry? No, that doesn't seem to work. What about if I splash some of this water stuff on it? It's a little slimy now. Not sure if it's working... Oh wait. What if I use a bunch of water? Sigh. Of course. After reading a bunch of the reviews, I'm absolutely sure it's operator error. If you're still having trouble, use shaving cream. But really, really, this is best used on very wet skin. Therefore my only qualm is how, like soap, the bars shrink pretty quickly and only have maybe 6 uses in them. After they run out, I'll switch over to shaving cream because Venus blades tend to keep their sharpness for a while.

This sunscreen is perfect. Period. I can’t sing the praises of this sunscreen enough. I first tried it on a trip to Virginia Beach with my aunt. I borrowed it from her after I watched her spray it all over herself and all over her baby. You have to know three things about this woman: she has incredibly pale, sensitive skin, she’s an extreme product snob, and her little girl is her life. Her using so much of this product is a ringing endorsement if I’ve ever seen one, so I had to try it. Next time I bought sunscreen, it was this one. I was skeptical the first time, because you can barely feel this on your skin, but after days in the sun (I live in Florida), and no sunburns to speak of, I can confidently say after trying dozens of sunscreens throughout my life that this is THE one. The search is over. It’s a spray, but you don’t have to worry about missing s spot. The spray is fine and wide, and so it provides full coverage. The can lasts forever. It doesn’t make you greasy. The formula is lightweight and applies clear even over sandy, dirty, sweaty skin. This is perfect for a day at the beach and has never irritated my sensitive skin. I even use it on my face. To do that, I don’t spray it directly on, silly people. I spray some into my hands and then rub it on. It has no smell that I can tell. It doesn’t clog pores and won’t cause acne. It’s lightly moisturizing, but not too heavy at all. As for reapplying, I would say once every 3 or 4 hours. Yes, I know that seems like a long time. You can err on the side of caution, but this really does have that kind of staying power.
