I was so pleasantly surprised by this lip balm. I put it on every night before I go to bed, and I wake up with luscious, moisturized, full lips. It has evened out the color of my lips as well. I'm not sure why other people dislike it. It must all depend on skin condition. My lips aren't dry and are overall fairly healthy already. I hope this helps.

I do like this product, but I don't think it lives up to its advertisement as goof proof. Having it be twist up gives less control than using a thin brush. It does have the same texture. It's smooth and thick, comfortable on the upper lash line, but like other gel liners, it doesn't wear well on the waterline. Bottom line: if you're not good at applying eyeliner with a steady hand, this may not be your solution. Try using something like an automatic liner and a smudger to make a smokey look that covers up flaws.

To start with, I'm not a big fan of matte bronzers. They usually look like I've smeared dirt on my face. This blends better than that, so it doesn't look like dirt, but still. It doesn't give much of a glow. Good for contouring, but I can't say it is my favorite.

I have a medium skin tone, and so I usually use a more pigmented blush than this, but I got a travel size of this, and I wanted to try it. This was my first ever benefit blush. I have to say I am in love with the coverage and the silky feel. However, the shade is just too light. From any kind of distance, it doesn't really look as if I'm wearing blush--though it does make my cheeks look pretty flawless. I am definitely going to try other benefit blushes, because I love everything but the shade. Maybe coralista?

While this stuff did help my hair stay in place, it left it totally fried, like straw. My hairstylist was shocked at the state of my hair, because it is usually in great condition. I'm glad I got this on sale. I will not be using it again. I'll probably pass it along to a friend. Maybe someone else will have better luck with it.

This stuff looks really pretty, tastes and smells good, has good texture, sparkle, and pigment, BUT it hurts like a b. I mean BEE. It felt like bees stinging my lips. I had to wipe it off. :(

This stuff is okay but not amazing, certainly not the best I've used. That distinction actually, believe it or not, belongs to suave. My biggest beef with his product is that it builds up really easily. My stylist thought my hair was dirty when he washed it because all of this came streaming out. It was a lot easier to tell because I was wearing the brunette version. Yuck! I promptly gave the stuff away.

It Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil
Not right on me.... Recommended for blondes, but not any other color.
I received a travel size of It Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Brow Pencil as a gift with purchase, so I decided to try it out. This brow wax has natural ingredients and is supposed to support brow growth by nourishing the cuticles of the hairs. Well, I don't know about that. I never used it again, because it just looked weird on me. I guess it did go on the same color as my brows. The only problem is my brows are taupe and my hair is not. I dye my hair a dark chocolate brown, whereas my natural hair color is more of a dark blonde that fades to a brighter blond on the bottom. Yes, I realize that's in style right now, but unfortunately it makes me look washed out. Anywho, back to brows. The box said if you layered this on or pressed down harder you could get a darker color, but I just couldn't manage it. Seems like others have not had that problem. Perhaps it is skin oiliness. Or me being stubborn. But all I can say is that if you have blonde hair, totally go for it. This will be perfect for you. If you have darker hair or auburn hair, try it out at sephora or someplace before you buy it. Good Luck!

Deborah Lippmann Fast Girls Quick Dry Base Coat
Totally Underwhelming. Polish chipped in half the time as normal
My manicures usually last 5-7 days. No, I don't have magic nails. And yes, I actually do things like dishes, washing my hair, opening soda cans, etc. I owe it to a combination of polishes: 1) Base Coat: Sally Hansen Hard As Nails, 2) Rimmel London 60 Seconds (no joke!) but any other good polish will do, ie opi, china glaze, wt n wild megalast, etc. two coats of that, 3) and I finish it off with Sally Hansen Insta Dri. But this time I got a sample of Deborah Lippmann Fast Girls Quick Dry Base Coat, and I had been wanting to try Deborah Lippmann nail polish, so I gave it a go and switched out my beloved Insta Dri for this stuff. I am SO disappointed. My mani chipped BADLY after 2 days. TWO! With my other stuff, I can be totally rough on my nails, and I can go five. I haven't done anything that should have made them crack. This stuff is terrible. If you want your nails to last, just bypass this top coat. I'm definitely giving my sample away. Or else throwing it in the garbage. Total junk.

I'm not sure if this lives up to the claims it makes, improving skin texture and evening skin tone, because it stings my skin too much to want to put it on too often, and it doesn't seem to moisturize the parts of my face that need it. Which, you know, is kind of the reason you buy a moisturizer in the first place. I feel like I wasted money on this. I seldom use it now.
