Thank god for this stuff. I have ridiculously tangle-prone hair -- rat's nests as we called the snarls growing up. This stuff detangles like a champ, which is all I really look for in a leave-in conditioner, TBH. In that it keeps me from tearing my hair out, it definitely reduces breakage. Hard to say, though, if it repairs over time.

If I'm being honest, this straightener offends my aesthetic. It just looks tacky and not at all like the nearly $200 straightener it is. That said, I find myself reaching for it over my sleeker, prettier, lighter straighteners, because I can easily adjust the temperature, it heats up crazy-fast and the beveled edges let me get a great grip without any weird lines.

Here's the thing: If you're like me, you go through a lot of dry shampoo. And a lot of it isn't cheap. This one leaves hair feeling clean without a ton of white residue (the tapioca starch blends usually blends well on brunettes). I also appreciate that for $3-$4/can, you get a natural product without a ton of chemicals. Has a bit of powdery-ness to it, but not as much as some other drugstore formulas.

This dry shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean and smelling fresh -- without any residue or tackiness. Anad it adds a little bit of volume. It's not the most effective at absorbing oil but I like that it leaves my hair looking naturally lustrous instead of chalky.

This gave me an OK amount of volume -- nothing out of this world. It's good for people seeking a subtle lift without any kind of tackiness.

I didn't think this prickly little wand would do much for my lashes, but it gave them a decent amount of length and pigment. I didn't see much in the way of volume though, and if you add too much, you just get a spidery effect. Also, not sure how water resistant this is supposed to be, but when my eyes water, this ends up all over my under-eye.

This mascara gives my lashes some drama, but not as much as I'd like. Also, every time I wear it, it flakes.

This mascara didn't give me the length or volume I was hoping for. Applied well and stayed put throughout the day, but I wouldn't purchase again.

It's a dead ringer for the Real Techniques complexion sponge. Works perfectly well, and I appreciate the big flat end. However, I had to rinse mine out a few times to get it to stop shedding, so we'll see how long it lasts. For germaphobes who'd rather stock up than clean theirs, this $1 sponge is a serious bargain.

Considering the price point, this is a hella good lipstick. The applicator has an- L-shaped notch taken out of it so that it rests on the edge of your lip just so, letting you draw an ultra-precise, foolproof line. Seriously -- why aren't they all designed this way? For that innovation alone, I'm starry-eyed. Second, this dries down to a beautiful, comfortable matte finish that isn't at all drying. The staying power is impressive too. The only thing I don't like about this lipstick is the slight tackiness to it. Your lips definitely stick together a bit when you press them together. Oh, another selling point: it comes off easily with a makeup remover wipe.
