This reminds me of the Laura Mercier Candleglow Foundation. It's sheer and luminous, with minimal coverage. It goes on silky like a serum, but I definitely need a primer and powder to give it longevity.

This is a decent mineral eyeliner for a soft, smoky look. You won't get precise lines with this, but I don't think that's the point. I like how it goes on, really easy to use. However, it did transfer to my upper eyelid (I have hooded eyes).

I've never tried YSL Touche Eclat, after which this is obviously based, so I don't have much to compare it to. That said, this is definitely more of an under-eye brightener than concealer. I would say the coverage is very light, but it does illuminate. Those looking for a traditional concealer would have to layer this over something with more coverage. My issue with this highlighting pen is that it doesn't stay put or blend -- it just kind of slides around on my skin.

I have such a complicated relationship with this perfume. The bottle, like the scent, is sexy and sophisticated. The scent is unique -- like nothing I've ever smelled -- and demands attention. When I smell it, I think of a classic sex kitten beauty, like Marilyn Monroe, lying in rumpled sheets. It has the boudoir feeling about it. Alluring and special.

Great for weak nails
I really like this as a nail strengthener alone and as a base coat. I was surprised how long it held up when I wore just a single coat on my nails without any nail polish over it. My nails, which are brittle and prone to breaking, didn't break the entire time I wore it. Definitely recommend.

Babo Botanicals Sheer Zinc Sunscreen for Extra Sensitive Skin
Not completely sheer but fine for fair skin
This is as good as most "sheer" zinc spray-on sunscreens, meaning, their white cast isn't horrible but it's certainly not transparent. I'm good with it on my body, or using it on my kid, but I made the mistake of putting it on my face and realized, this definitely is not sheer. Wouldn't be good for darker-skinned people.

This is such a nice, affordable, easy to apply sunscreen. It absorbs quickly, has a nice scent, and doesn't leave skin tacky or sticky. Feels like you're not really wearing sunscreen, so sand rubs right off the body instead of adhering to you. Definitely recommend.

This left my hands feeling soft and exfoliated. I like that it has both physical and chemical exfoliants, though the grains are a little rough on my hands. I'm just not sure I would drop $30 on a hand scrub, when I can just use one for the hand or body.

How do I love thee, hand cream? Let me count the ways. The packaging is adorable and smart -- definitely vanity- and gift-worthy. The texture is rich without being greasy. It absorbs quickly and leaves hands soft. And the scent is to die for. It's also so reasonably priced, you don't have to feel bad buying it in bulk.
