  • E.L.F. Pressed Mineral Blush

I just got mine in the mail about a week ago, and this is now my go to blush. I have tried the products from other companies, but so far this one has had the best application. The colors are true, and it goes on so softly that you can build color without worrying about the 80's blush streak on your cheeks. I got this in Joy, and if you are fair skinned and looking for a believable blush, this is IT. It gives enough color to make it look like you came inside on a chilly day. Nothing unnatural and nothing that adds the brownish tones that some blushers do even though they look completely different in the package. It's three dollars, and the container is pretty good sized. Well worth the price!

  • E.L.F. Studio Lip Definer & Shaper

The shaper part of this little combo worked wonders. It actually worked well acting as a primer for my lipstick and keeping the color good for several hours. I didn't use it in the "make your lips bigger" category as it can be used for. I actually prefer this end to the definer. The color is stated as natural, but on me it came out rather dark. I am very fair toned and this made me look like I was wearing a brownish-pink lipstick. It works good as a base if you have a lighter shade you want to darken up. It also blended well with my lipstick, but made it a bit darker in the process (which I actually liked). For three bucks, overall it's a good tool to stash in your purse as it can act as primer, liner and lipstick.

  • Rimmel London French Manicure With Lycra + Minerals

I have tried lots of different brands of nail polish, and this one is actually up there with the best. The colors go on true, even with just one coat, dry amazingly fast, and last about a week even without a top coat. My biggest complaint is the complete lack of palette. The only range is in the reds, and not that many - maybe about 12. Not like the OPI or essie lines by a long shot. Even so, I actually like this better than my essie polishes as it went on better and lasted longer. If you are okay in the red zone, for the price this is a really good polish.

  • Estee Lauder Equalizer Smart Makeup for Combination Skin SPF 10

I stopped by the EL counter as I saw a foundation so light that I thought it just might match my absurdly fair complexion. Lo and behold it did, felt great going on, so the rep gave me a ten day sample to see if I liked how it worked. Now for the letdown. Prior to application my face was completely clear. About three hours after the rep applied some to my jawbone, I started getting those annoying itty-bitty pimples that pop up when makeup clogs your pores. I have to take off a few stars for this, as I won't be able to use this foundation EITHER, but for the color range and taking into account those of us who are so pale we make Casper the Ghost look like he has a tan, I must say I am impressed and grateful. Goes on very light and matte, which is nice. If you don't have problems with reactions like mine, give this one a shot.

    Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer

    So not worth the price

I have to admit I love the color palette, but other than that, this was one of the worst lip glosses I have ever used. I got this in Spark and Imaginaire. Both great colors but they wore off within thirty minutes with just talking. No eating or drinking. I thought maybe I was licking my lips more often while talking, so I reapplied and made the effort to not lick my lips. This time I got to about an hour. For $27 a tube, I really expected it to last much longer. Not much to note on taste or smell as those didn't bother me, just the complete lack of staying power. I have used NYC glosses that last longer, and those are only two bucks.

  • Rimmel London Glam Eyes Mascara

    Rimmel London Glam Eyes Mascara

Excellent mascara except for the brush....

This is such a great mascara if your want length and volume. It separate the lashes and leaves you with clump free flirty lashes. My only beef is with the brush. After about a month of use, the bristle part of the wand started to lose its shape. It became very mushy and floppy. Like something in the wand lost its "backbone". No amount of manipulation would get it to firm up again. Thankfully I have a ton of mascara wands from a friend that sold makeup. I was able to get my three months out of the bottle, but the floppy brush thing was just plain odd.

    mark Flip For It Case

Handy for women on the go

This is a great compact for busy women. The two shadows always compliment each other, and the blush coordinates for a great look. I love that there are four lip colors to mix and match. I have used them as blush also. The Sydney and London flips have to be my favorites.

  • Aveda Phomollient Styling Foam

    Aveda Phomollient Styling Foam

    Rocks for fine hair

Can't live without this stuff! Just a few pumps and my hair has body like never before. I use this with the volumizing tonic, and have had some of the best hair days ever lately. Other styling products like mousse or gel left my hair flat and feeling really gross. Phomollient leave my hair soft with just a hint of scent. It may be pricier than other styling products, but since you have to use so little, a bottle will last for months.

  • Almay Oil Free Liquid Makeup Remover

This is a stellar makeup remover. it takes off waterproof mascara and eyeliner with no rubbing or extensive time. I was surprised at how well it worked, as others have left me with remnants of the mascara that ring the eyes and make me look like I have two shiners. The Almay oil free doesn't leave any sort of residue, and the best part it is doesn't sting if you get it in your eyes. It leaves skin feeling refreshed and as a bit of aloe/cucumber scent which is really nice. Use this before you wash your face to get rid of any trace of makeup without irritating skin. I love it!!

  • EcoTools Bamboo Lash and Brow Groomer

This is a wonderful tool for brows and lashes. On the lash comb, the teeth are not spaced so far apart that clumps just slide right through. It catches everything and separates lashes, leaving them looking full and perfect. The other side is soft but certainly up to blending in brow wax and/or powder. It cleans in a snap, and doesn't shed.
