This blush shade has been on what seems to be every top ten list in the beauty industry. I recently tried it and was really disappointed. It's much more shimmery than any review ever mentions - and I mean shimmery to the point your cheeks actually look like they belong back in the 80's. The color also didn't work for my very fair skin tone and when applied looked way too dark. This blush also seemed to irritate my skin, which might be due to the fact that the powder isn't as finely milled as one would think this over-hyped product would be. It was a bit grainy feeling, though this feeling didn't last long as the blush had absolutely NO staying power. By the end of my time at Sephora, I couldn't tell that I had even applied the blush.

These wipes are by far the best of the bunch on the market. For those of us with sensitive skin, these are the least likely to cause any problems. I also like that they really get your skin clean and don't leave behind any sort of residue like other wipes do. I keep a travel pack with me during the horrid summer months in the south to help keep my face clear of breakouts during the hot and humid weather. These are also great for late nights when you just do not have the energy (or ability) to go through a full nighttime routine before going to sleep. I love these things....

I am really disappointed in these shadows. I have three, and while I love the colors they are almost impossible to use. The powder is so compressed into the container that it is really hard to pick up any color with a brush or even a sponge tip applicator. When applied, the color goes on really light but isn't easily buildable. Even with primer the shadow(s) are gone within a couple of hours. I think I will just stick to the HC nail polish.

After all the hype from magazines and websites, I was hoping Kiehl's would be THE lotion. Sadly, after using it for a couple of weeks, my skin was still getting incredibly dry by the end of the day. This lotion absorbed so well that it disappeared in seconds, which also made me think it would work better than others. This won't be a repeat purchase since I used the entire bottle in such a short time hoping that maybe constant application would help my dry skin, but nope! I did like the scent though.

This conditioner is the BEST for hair that gets snarly all the time. It's so thick you think that your hair will come out limp and flat, but my fine hair was so soft and thick after using this for just a few days, it was like I had grown more hair overnight. I was able to stop using my glossing serum as this kept my hair from frizzing and really toned down those annoying little fly-aways that seem to be immune to any styling product. My only gripe is the price.

When I first tried this I thought I had grabbed the wrong bottle and was using the conditioner. The shampoo doesn't suds up because they don't include chemical sudsing agents like SLS and the actual shampoo is very thick and creamy and looks like typical conditioners instead of a clear shampoo. It still worked really well on my air that had treated roughly all weekend from styling and chlorine from swimming. I took all the product out of my hair and left it smelling wonderful. It's not the cheapest shampoo, so that kind of limits how often I get it, but when I do it is the best treat for my hair.

I like natural products, but not all of them work well. This conditioner from the Body Shop left me wanting to run out and stock up. It made my hair so soft and silky after a weekend of styling torture and chlorine from a swimming pool. The scent was great too. The only downside is the price, but as it is from the Body Shop and natural, the high price is kind of expected. This conditioner and its matching shampoo are definitely on my top ten list!

Hallelujah is all I have to say. I FINALLY am able to treat those horrid cystic acne bumps that feel like half your chin is the size of Mt. Everest. I got some of there samples in the mail along with a catalog and ordered this after reading what it reportedly did for these types of breakouts. I was expecting something heavier (from the lotion in the name) but this is more like a chalky toner. I put it on a couple of times on a new bump and the next morning the bump was GONE. My husband has begun using this as well on his ingrown hairs in addition to the cystic acne he gets every so often and now we fight over the bottle. Shake the bottle extremely well, apply a few drops, and within a day or two it's like the bump was never there. What I want to know is why it took me so long to find this product. I have also ordered and used the drying lotion and healing mask, which by the way is uber-amazing at helping with any acne scars or redness. I did take off a star for the wicked alcohol smell that this product has. It's enough to singe your nose hairs, but PLEASE do not let that get in the way of using this product. For what it does the smell is a very small price to pay. This has been the best $17 I have spent in a long time on skincare products.

Not sure why this one ended up as an editor's favorite pick for mascara. The white primer side is nothing but a thick, clumpy mess! It leaves lashes stuck together with this thick coating of primer that I had to separate with a lash comb (with several passes) before I could apply the actual mascara. Even the mascara isn't much worth the purchase price. It too went on pretty clumpy. By the time I was done once again with the lash comb, I was not happy with the way the mascara looked. The clumps were gone, but it looked oddly like I was wearing bad fake lashes. It's kind of hard to explain, but imagine putting on mascara then looking in the mirror where the color and texture of your lashes with the mascara makes them look like you had a five year old put on a pair of fake lashes from her dress up kit. The mascara side alone was passable, but it wasn't as waterproof as other brands. Go with the green and pink tube for half the price but ten times the performance.

I have used Cetaphil on and off for years and always get great results. It never dries out my face and takes off makeup pretty well (some trouble removing waterproof stuff) leaving my face feeling clean and soft. I like to use this in the summertime as sort of an in-between cleanser. If my skin is feeling particularly yuck after a hot, humid day, I like to do a quick wash with this cleanser rather than the stuff I use for my morning and nighttime routines. I love how gentle it is as well. It works well on sunburned skin since it doesn't contain fragrance or alcohol or any sort of exfoliating agent. Use it with a cool washcloth to clean the sunburned areas. It leaves them feeling much less tight and soothed without feeling heavy or greasy. Too bad they don't make this in a shower/bath cleanser.
