Both of my teenage kids have thick hair and it is hard to find a shampoo that will get their hair clean and not cost me a fortune as teenagers can be wasteful. They were using this with the conditioner for about a month, and not realizing why, their acne got considerably worse around their hairlines and they both got dandruff. Thank goodness a stylist told me that Pantene Pro-V is known to cause breakouts! I changed their products right away and the acne went back down and the dandruff went away but it took about a month to recover from. On top of that, their hair was always abnormally dirty the next day and the static was more than a nuissance.

I purchased a large set of Amazing Grace products and I really liked it. Here is the biggest problem with this specific product: it is an Eau de Toilette spray. Amazing Grace is a scent that can be worn in any environment, including hospitals, because it is a lighter scent. Eau de Toilette sprays are watered down scents, so when you have a light, citrusy floral scent, you need it to be more concentrated. It will cost you more to buy an eau de parfum, but you will enjoy the scent so much more. Your bottle will last a lot longer and you will receive compliments on "smelling nice". If you like the Amazing Grace scent, spend the money on the eau de parfum! Make sure to try layering Amazing Grace as well. You can layer the 3 in 1 bath and shower gels, the body lotions, and the body spritzers with your eau de parfum to maximize the power of this mix of citrus, soft flowers, and air. The same is true for many of the Philosophy fragrances, so if you don't like Amazing Grace, give one of the "Love" fragrances a try. The Love fragrances combine vanilla and different dark berries for amazing scents. Fragrances are really all about personal preference, so I always suggest trying a sample before spending the money on a full size and then regretting it.

Having been a snow skier for many years, I have tried it all for chapped lips. Lip balms are too waxy, lip glosses have no hydration, and offer no protection. Carmex in a tube is a great lip treatment for dry, chapped lips. I was very happy to see the tubes because the jars held onto bacteria. Carmex is thick going on and has a medicinal taste and smell, but it coats them with moisture (for a minimal time), helps heal the chapping, and has some degree of protection against the elements. I do, however, prefer the Blistex Medicated tube. It absorbs nicely and I feel it working for quite a while. I think these products are both great, so it boils down to personal preference.

This product does feel light and airy until you try to apply it. No matter which tool I used, this blush streaked and did not look natural at all. The colors are all a bit too much. Once you finally achieve a look that will allow you to step outside your door, give it an hour or so and you won't be able see the blush at all. I highly suggest trying Laura Geller's Whipped Blush. It feels like air, gives buildable sheer coverage, and applies like a TRUE DREAM!

What do I love about The Body Shop Body Butters? The scents. The Body Shop offers the most variety and the scents are usually spot on. What do I not like about them? The jar for one. I find lotions in a tub or jar are messy, hold on to bacteria, and lose some of its potency. The body butters are very moisturizing but do leave a greasy feeling behind, that I did not like. I would stick to body butter tubes. They are not messy, sanitary, and hold their efficacy. Overall, it is OK.

I picked this up thinking what a great idea it was to create a mousse for a foundation. I was wrong. This foundation would not blend with fingers, sponges, or brushes. It goes on cakey and completely uneven. I was expecting light, but got heavy and cakey instead. I had also tried the blush Dream Mousse and got the same results. I would not purchase this unless and until it is reformulated.

Don't waste your money on this Loreal Telescopic Mascara because I already did. I know that Loreal's Voluminous mascara is pretty good so I tried this. It clumped my lashes together and the only way to resolve this was to take it off. Once on, you will experience the bad spider eye look. It went straight into the trash!

I only wore Loreal Voluminous mascara for 15 years. I loved the volume it gave, it was clump free, and came off easily. The one drawback was the flaking. At the time, I could deal with it. I now use Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes because I get same good results without the flaking. 2 out of 3 is pretty good. If you need a pretty good mascara and don't want to spend too much, then this is a great option!

I use Secret Clinical Strength (which is expensive) every day. Because of the price, I tried the Scent Expressions. Unfortunately, this deodorant is made to mask odors, and when mixed with the smell of body odor, you want to run and hide. If you need a heavy hitter deodorant that controls odors and perspiration, get Secret Clinical Strength instead.

As far as lip balms go, this is one of the better ones. It is easier to apply than Chapstick and it tastes better. For my 15 year old daughter, this isn't quite strong enough to heal dry lips. The Burt's Bees Medicated Lip Balm with clove oil really does the job. Her lips can be cracked to the point of bleeding and the Medicated Lip Balm will have her healed within 2 days. Both of these products are worth trying.
