I prefer the Carmex tube. Same product but in a cleaner, more sanitary delivery system.

I love the Mary Kay Satin Hands Peach Satin Smoothie hand scrub is amazing for every dry spot from the neck down. This is effective for getting the dead skin off and leaves skin ready to drink up the moisture of the Satin Hands Hand Cream!

I have tried Bare Minerals and did not like it. I could not get it to stay in place, The Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation is more matte and it doesn't dry out my skin. Definitely worth trying!

I expect a lip product to moisturize and this did not. I love the Blistex Medicated lip tube. You can really feel it working. The Silk and Shine was not shiny and left a residue that was not appealing.

This Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo strips everything out of your hair, good and bad. If you have extreme build up, go for it otherwise stick with a more gentle shampoo for daily use. If you over use this, your hair will become unruly, dry, difficult to brush, and will have extra static.

The Clairol Nice 'n Easy Root Touch Up is a joke. The price is not that much cheaper than a full box of color and you get so little product, that it ends up costing more because you need 2 or 3 boxes. I did not like the application tool so I just by the same hair color for my root touch ups and if a little is left over, I am totally OK with that. Also, there have breakthroughs in root maintainence! There are powders in all hair colors that can be brushed onto your roots and will last until your next wash. If you are only trying to buy yourself a week or two in between coloring, give one of these a try. I know Joan Rivers makes a great product with an amazing applicator that is available on QVC.

I stopped using all apricot type products because of the harsh apricot pit, bits. No matter high lightly I scrubbed, I always found new broken capillaries. After hours of research, I found out that teeny, tiny microbeads with the appropriate enzymes are the best exfoliators if you want to avoid any adverse effects. Look for products with "micro" in the name and pumpkin and papaya enzymes are great too. The Philosophy Micro-Delivery Exfoliating Wash is gentle, effective, and can be used everyday. Just try to stay away from any exfoliators that contain fruit pits to avoid adverse effects.

The Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30 has a thick, heavy consistency. I never got a sunburn while using this, so the SPF 30 works. I have noticed that with my combination skin, my dry spots stayed dry and my oily spots stayed oily. I really didn't see any improvement in hydration at all. I used this for several months, hoping, with time, I might see a more even skin tone and the SPF 30 made it worth using. I stopped using it after not noticing any results and having to add another moisturizer to get some actual moisture. I have found the light! Tinted or un-tinted moisturizers that have SPF and moisturize. The price might be right for the Aveeno, but in the end, you may end up paying more for a second moisturizer to make up for what this is lacking. This ended up in my trash. No matter how much money I spend on a product, I really hate having to throw it out!
