I admit, I was nervous to try this product. I am really trying to watch my budget and extra pennies (and dollars!) really add up. This product lathered so well - I didn't even need that much! I have long hair that is highlighted and this shampoo didn't tangle my hair in the shower. It smells good, but I wish the fragrance was a little stronger. I also used the matching conditioner, and in the end my hair was shiny and soft. Overall, great buy!

Disappointed with WNW. The polish has a funny smell and is very thin and almost runny. The shine is a soft shine, almost a cross between matte and shine. It does dry fast but the finish wasn't good. I don't know how to describe it - sort of rough, definately not smooth and shiny. At first, I thought it was a fluke and I tried it again, but had the same results.

What a disappointment this was! I tried it several months back after hearing the hype for years. It really lacked, not only was it expensive, but the coverage was not good. I have very good skin and often go out with no make-up at all and am quite confortable with that. However, when I do want to wear makeup, I would like to even out my skin tone more, lighten the redness around the nose, and look more "finished". This make-up just didn't do it. I can't imagine what the coverage would be like for someone who truly needs it. I kept applying and applying, and nothing. In adition, I have oily skin and I didn't really think this foundation controlled oil all that well. I ended up returning it only a few days later.

I bought this powder for the first time last week and really liked it, but now I love it! I bought it in the translucent, so no matter my skin color, foundation, or tan it is perfect. I love the luminosity to the powder. The only reason I gave it a 9 is because I would like a little more luminosity. It is very subtle. You may not even notice it yourself. It is one of those things that others will really like, but just can't put their finger on. It is also very light and non-cakey. I didn't really notice oil control, so if you are looking for that, you may want to go with a loose powder specifically designed for that. I also thought the powder was a little pricey - it runs just shy of $12. I would have liked to see it around $8. I am sure it will last a long time, though, so I am not complaining!

I must say, I absolutely LOVE this product! I have always used high end department store brands, and with the help of totalbeauty reviewers, I am starting to make the transition to great drug store finds that are more aligned with my budget and just as effective. The bronzer I used before was $30-$35. I actually went to the store to pick up a different bronzer and they were out of stock. I came across this one and just fell in love with the color. I bought Rio Radiance and it is perfect. There is a little bit of shimmer and it is not orangey, muddy, cakey, yellow, or overly brown. For me, it is the perfect color. It has great staying power and has a HINT of red to it, which is great because all natural tans have a touch of redness underneath. I used to have to add a bit of blush over the bronzer - this is a great multi-tasking item. It looks so natural. I have fair skin but I use a self-tanner, and combined with this bronzer, it is the perfect look. On top of that, I got it on sale for only .73! It isn't a bargain if the product doesn't work well, and I can assure you, this one does.

This sponge comes in Normal, Gentle and Extra Gentle. I really wish I would have tried the Extra Gentle. When I first touched it with my hands, it felt so soft, I almost thought it was too soft. But on my face it was a different story! It left my skin a little red and I was gentle with it. It seems to work well and I like the concept - I didn't want to add yet another product to my skin regimen, so this was a great idea. I used to use this product about 15 years ago, when I was in my early teens. I had a hard time finding it this time around, and finally found it at Ulta.

I was really disappointed with this polish. I bought it in clear to use in between manis (I am a girl on a budget) and I thought it was overpriced and not as effective as other polishes. I have to re-do my nails every 5-7 days, really every 5 days but it depends on how much time I have that week! The polish chips and peels on me. For how much more expensive it was than just a regular clear polish, I would hope for 10-14 days of wear, before I would need to re-polish. I would suggest trying other polishes first. It also tends to peel away around the exterior of the nail, which looks bad. At first I thought it was because maybe I was using too much, but it doesn't get like that until days 5-7. The consistency of the polish was good and there was no yellowing. I do wish it would have been shinier though. It is shiny the first day, but it goes dull after day 3 or so. I also noticed that lotion would make the polish dull. Especially if I am applying cuticle cream to my nail bed.

This hairspray smells sooooooo good. The best ever! it is a little pricey, but for me, lasts forever. It has a fruity smell and is so uplifting and works really well and has great hold. I like to use it at the roots for volume.

Packaging is super cute and it works so well. Tames flyaways, adds shine and softness, and helps with smoothing and straightening. And to boot, the price is a steal!

This version just works okay. It should be better considering it is an Aveda product and also a little pricey. The original version was easier to apply - it was more of a serum type of consistency and was applied via dropper. It was easier to control, smelled better and worked better. This version is runny, gets all over the place, smells bad, and doesn't always work. The reason I gave it a 5 is because if you have just a little bit of dandruff or psoriasis, it will probably work, but if your overall scalp is REALLY flaky and dry, it might not. It is a 50/50 chance either way. I find that rubbing olive oil between my hands, then massaging it on my scalp (and sleping with it, rinsing in the morning) is a much cheaper and more effective way to resolve a dry scalp.
