My sparse, fine, straight lashes looked much longer and darker after two coats. This mascara lengthened them, but there was ZERO thickening. Thin formula, no fragrance. The brush is the biggest draw for me - it's only got four rows of smooth, small plastic nubs giving it a "square" shape and the wand comes out cleanly and without big gobs of mascara all over it, so it applies super-smoothly. However, I always curl my lashes first and sadly, this mascara made the curl disappear! I still really like this stuff and will probably buy it again. Great color, length and separation for the lash-challenged!

Brand new to the headache of covering gray hair and it's a chore. My hair grows so fast, I can't keep up with the grays. I just used this now and it was okay. My hair is soft and has a slight sheen and the grays are mostly covered. It did an okay job. I didn't find the bottle anything special - it was hard to remember to squeeze it hard enough for the product to flow through. But the application was easy enough. I applied it on my part, all around my hairline and had enough to lift up my part on both sides and go over the grays underneath. I have stubborn, thick silver hairs on my part and after rinsing, I realized I must not have left the product on long enough, as some of those grays had been dyed a dark brown, not black. In fact, the mixed dye looked like a milk chocolate color and I was worried it wasn't black enough. So who knows if this was a timing error or just a faulty product. I recently bought this at a CVS for something like $4 - it was on sale. So maybe this is why. I'll be looking for other root touch-ups in the future and won't be using this one again.

I followed the directions exactly and there was absolutely no problem. My nails were dry to the touch in a flash. But read: dry to the TOUCH, not dry to the nail. If you scrape or scratch your nail, it will show. The polish will still need time to dry underneath so you should still be careful. But it does dry the polish to the touch, so getting dressed or doing your hair afterwards is no problem. As far as long-lasting protection of the nail color, I'm not sure. I have nail color ADD and tend to take off my color within a couple days anyway. The finish of this top coat does dry to a nice shine, though. All in all, I'm happy with the product and use it regularly. The bottle I had got goopy and thick about halfway through, so I usually just throw it away. But it's fairly cheap, dries my nails in a flash and adds a great shiny finish, so it's worth it to always have a bottle on hand.

I've bought Orly nail colors now and then and it's always the color that I can't resist. On me, they last amazingly long - I've had Red Flare on my toes for the last two weeks and it just started chipping yesterday. No base coat, no top coat. The color also seems to hold up well on my fingers, but I do use a top coat then. And I like their French Manicure shades, despite all the negative reviews. I have Red Flare, Terra Mauve and Bus Stop Crimson, which is a deep brick red that is my favorite. But I get compliments on my nails every time I rock an Orly lacquer. The colors are all very unique, not just the same colors that OPI and Essie do over and over again to compete with each other. I think Orly is a quality nail care line that is sorely underrated. I love it.

Caress has such a pretty fragrance ~ ultra girly ~ and the texture of the bodywash is thick and creamy. It just feels indulgent ~ lots of thick bubbles and a little goes a long way. It does NOT moisturize my very dry skin, however. I still find I have to use lotion post-shower. I wish the fragrance lasted longer, too. But it's a classic for a reason. Great product!

**UPDATE ~ I'm pretty sure this particular gloss by Maybelline has been discontinued and replaced by a new ColorSensation line of glosses and lipsticks! I had to buy a new one online as I couldn't find it anywhere here in New York City.** I bought this a while ago and it's become my go-to lip gloss. In fact, I'm on my second tube, I love this stuff so much! I use the Born With It - a soft, pale, super pretty pink/almost nude. It glides on really smoothly, but the wand head is so small, it usually takes a couple of swipes for complete coverage. The color payoff is great and very true to what you see in the tube and it has a subtle shine and sparkle that is sexy and understated. The consistency is lightly creamy and smooth, not the least bit sticky. The taste and smell are subtley reminiscent of oranges, but it's very faint. The best surprise of this gloss was that IT LASTS A LONG TIME! I usually avoid glosses for this reason, but this gloss....my goodness. You put it on and it lasts and lasts. I was even drinking and kissed my boyfriend and it lasted (and didn't get all over my boyfriend's mouth!). I don't think it's a long-lasting formula, but for some reason, it really does have some staying power. I absolutely LOVE this gloss and need to try some of the other colors. Highly recommend to other disillusioned lip gloss users! For the price, you can't go wrong. :)

I literally just used this for the first time. The grays on my center part are gone, my hair is back to being totally black and I can wear it down again for awhile. I read the other reviews that dissed this product, but for dark-haired ladies, it should work fine. The instructions say this product is intended for use on your part and along your hairline ~ it's NOT meant for coloring the roots on your entire head ~ and this is why there is a smaller amount. I think if you need more than the amount given, you really need to just go and get a full color. For stubborn grays, be sure to leave it on an extra 5 minutes or so, as per the instructions. Simple application, easy, quick and no problem. Love it and it gets a perfect score in my book. :)

I just bought these on deep discount. I got the black and purple colors. It's my first time using creme eyeliner - I'm a liquid and pencil girl usually - and so I'm still practicing. The brush is a bit too small for me, so I bought the ELF angled eyeliner brush with great results. I love the black shade - it's dramatic and purely black, making my brown eyes pop. I was disappointed in the purple shade, which is more shimmery rather than a deeply pigmented color. The formula is creamy and moist, not really gel-like, but it's easy and comfortable to apply. Oddly, it does seem to last, but towards a longer run, the richness of the color is what seemed to fade. My first foray into cream/gel eyeliner and with some more time, I think I could really get to like this product.

I've owned this for a while now (in Soft Black) and I recently returned to using it after tiring of the sharp, harsh line I usually get from my liquid liner. I've just wanted something softer lately and I started using this again. I just bought another darker one in Ebony Black and I'm really pleased. This pencil is inexpensive, a manageable size that, as you sharpen it with use, whittles down to fit perfectly in the smallest purse and it comes with a really nice smudge tip on the opposite end. It applies smoothly and even if it does skip, I simply use the smudger end to lightly blend the line. It wears a considerable time, too. If you have oily lids, this stuff will probably smear, so remember to prime. For the price, this is a groovy little liner that has worked beautifully for me for a long time and I wanted to give it a good review. Also, for some odd reason, when I wear this, I get compliments, usually from guys, on how pretty my eyes look! Only with this liner, though. Go figure. It's a definitely a nice feeling anyway! :)

A friend gave me this liner as a gift. The color was Smog. I loved the color on the back of my hand, but it was so metallic (a blend of moss and bronze colors) that it just disappeared on my olive skin. I could only see it in certain light when I tilted my head, but not straight on. It might just be that particular color. It was highly glittery, too. Just not for me.
