DDF Wrinkle Resist Plus Pore Minimizer

Does not play well with others!

This did instantly hide pores, but you can't use it with a moisturizer or makeup. I tried it before and after applying moisturizer and either way it pilled/balled up and left gross little balls of silicone on my face. when i tried it on it's own as a moisturizer it disappointed again, did not even moisturize my oily skin, made it look dry actually. My powder makeup just sits on top of this, looking dry and fake. I don't get how you're supposed to use this cr@p. I suppose if you're a male and just use it on your nose? I read a review on DDf's site about a bald guy that uses this to reduce the skin of his head.

  • Olay Body Age Transform Intensive UV Defense Serum

I am so bummed they stopped making this (anyone ever notice they discontinue all the things that actually work?!) This had more of a lotion texture than a serum, it wasn't liquidy at all. It moisturized insanely well considering it leaves no greasy feel or oily shine. I'm not in the sun enough to attest it's spf claim. The smell is a bit overpowering but it's pleasant and easy to ignore when you see the results: perfect, velvety skin. I stocked up in bulk on ebay when they discontinued, what will i use when i'm out?!!

  • Burt's Bees Baby Bee Dusting Powder

Major Kudos the Burt's Bees for making a SAFE body powder, while this was intended for babies i suggest this to all my friends who use a talc-based body powder (Talc has been linked to cancer, it's been compared to asbestos and is dangerous to inhale). The cornstarch can harbor bacteria, so if you get breakouts in the area you're applying this, that could be the cause.

    Tanda ZAP

    Not a miracle worker.

I'm calling BS on the other review since this is the ONLY review she's done. Couple things you need to know: The pamphlet in the box says this is for mild acne only, does nothing for cystic acne or nodules, treats white heads only. It keeps track of how many times you've used it so even if it could keep working after 1000 treatments, it's programming prevents it from doing so, forcing you to buy another one. You have to use it three times a day on the same spot, so 1000 treatments is going to add up fast. On the plus side, the "warming" part of the treatment doesn't burn at all, it's hardly noticable. The "sonic vibrations" are also hardly noticable. I tried it on a deep cyst i've had on my chin for weeks and increadibly it was way smaller the next day (a week later it was gone), but my gf tried it on a cyst growing on her chin and it did nothing. It does seem to help a bit reducing size and redness after a day or two, not a miracle but great if your skin can't tolerate benzoyl peroxide or other acne meds. I would suggest getting it somewhere you can return it if it doesn't work for you.

  • Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine Hairspray

    Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine Hairspray

So sad they don't make it anymore.

I don't use much hairspray and when i do use it, i spray a bit on my boar bristle brush to tame flyaways. So this bottle has lasted me over a year. I loved that it helped the flyways without making my hair crunchy or sticky. And it added a slight shine. Great price too.

  • Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

The formula contains talc which has been linked to cancer (they say the powder is akin to asbestos and is dangerous to inhale) And Cornstarch which is ancegenic and comedogenic. Cornstarch and rice flour are popular alternatives to talc, however, being derived from food means they can harbor bacteria, therefore causing clogged pores and acne. Plus the price is outrageous.

    Aussie Opposites Attract Conditioner

    A Great everyday duo.

I love this with the opposites attract shampoo, together they cleanse and moisturize perfectly. I have super fine, straight hair, I would think someone with extremely damaged hair or curly hair would need way more moisture, however. As far as drugstore hair products go, this is one of the tops.

  • Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist

    Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist

    Smells yummy, works a treat.

Three minutes, they aren't kidding. This is a great alternative if you can't afford a higher priced hair mask. I used to use the original 3 minute miracle, but once i used this, the original formula was like using an everyday conditioner. I have really fine hair, it's long and i'm always trying to grow it longer without the ends looking like straw. I only shampoo my roots and apply conditioner to the ends up the base of my neck, this method alone has worked wonders to make my thin hair look fuller and healthier. And once or twice a week i deep condition, this is one of my favs. If you're in need of super moisture you could use this everyday. The texture is super thick and the smell isn't overpowering. And the bottle is kinda fun, the product dispenses out the bottom, through a silicone-type opening that reminds me of an octopus mouth lol. The first time i used it i squeezed the bottle too hard and it shot out, so squeeze with caution ;)

Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Sugar Scrub

LOVE tranquil mint. Bring it back!

I'm bummed they discontinued the scent Tranquil Mint, it was my fav. But i settle with the Eucalyptus Mint instead, or if i'm planning a naughty evening i use the Black Currant Vanilla (guys love it). It feels oily in the shower but once i'm toweled off i'm left with perfectly hydrated, smooth skin (think hawaiian tropic model skin), no need for moisturizer. The price is way high but i buy them when the sales are going on, they last forever, and a little goes a long way.

  • John Frieda Frizz-Ease 100% Shine Glossing Mist

I have super fine, thin hair and most shine serums and sprays just make my hair look greasy, this is a winner for us fine locked ladies. ilike to spray this in my hands and apply it to my hair rather than spray it directly on. This way i can control where the product goes better. I spray a few pumps into my hands, rub hands together, and apply mostly to my roots, then run my hands over the the length of my hair starting at the top of my head. This makes my ends look healthier, controls any annoying fly-aways and adds a light (not greasy) shine to my whole head. The bottle looks tiny but using it the way i have (by spraying into hands) it's lasted me a year and i still have plenty left.
